isnt haggis sheep stoumach, unless im mistaken

It's the heart, lungs, and liver of a sheep boiled in it's own stomoch, yes. It's banned in America because the lungs of animals isn't acceptable (in their opinion) for human consumption.

Yeah, there are 'haggis smugglers' though, people who make/import the real stuff to the Scots who pay for it lol. Can't be without our haggis, y'know. I think there's one company in America that's allowed to make traditional haggis, and has some kind of legal-right to distribute it. You can find it probably around your local super-markets. ninja

there is a farmers market by me, so not nearly as much junk food goes into my house, and im sorry to say it, but even if i could have haggis, i probbably wouldnt, there are just some things im not willing to try.

There has been a vegetarian variant available since the 60's... it tastes a lot like the meat stuffed kind, but without the guts.
