Please do not post IC in this journal without my permission. The only exception to this is posting the delivery of a gift via mail of some sort (UPS dropping it off, by owl, your character leaving the gift in the mail slot, etc.). OOC posts are welcomed and encouraged. Please keep all OOC posts in ((double paranthesis)).

God modding will be retconned*. Please do not take control of my characters for any reason, without my prior approval.

If you are not comfortable with themes, concepts, scenes, and situations used by my my character(s)- please feel free to avoid interacting with them.

Similarity between my character(s) and any previously existing real or fictional character(s) is usually not intentional, or only meant to pay homage.

Please discuss all power interactions (my character(s) and/or your character's powers) previous to IC interaction.

If you are not comfortable dealing with my character(s), as far as their power level goes- please feel free to avoid interacting with them.

I don't mind interacting with characters who may have powers similar to my character(s). As long as the core concept is not being copied completely, it doesn't bother me at all to interact with characters of similar power or personality.

Please do not take IC actions as OOC opinions/actions/consequences. I like to keep my IC and OOC world very clearly seperated. As an example- just because one of my characters hates one of your characters, it does not mean I hate you.

Some of my character(s) are not social, nice, or remotely sexual. Please do not ask me to have them react in a way that goes against their nature.


*Retcon- The action/scene/reaction is removed from the storyline, as if it never took place.

About Casa Encanto
Within MEF there is a section designated as living space for Moorgahaine, Austerulous, their adopted kin, and the MEF lodgers. It exists at the core of the shop, and is forever expanding. Like the shop itself, this space seems to live, breathe, and change according to its own whims. While some areas of this space seem stable (so far), others evolve so quickly it would be impossible to make an accurate mundane map of Casa Encanto (or at least not one that would be accurate a few moments after it was made). So far, all attempts to properly map Casa Encanto have failed- even when aided by powerful magic. It's secrets remain guarded by forces unknown.

About MEF
Casa Encanto exists within the MEF shop, so any discussion about the Casa is incomplete without mention of the building it inhabits. MEF was established as a Gealdritchean home-based business when Moorgahaine was 61 years of age and had a few years of immortality under his belt. Wanting to create something that would make good use of his extended lifespan (and stave off boredom), Moorgahaine decided to combine his knowledge of magic and technology with his love of meeting new people. On the shop's 61st anniversary, it was transferred to a new multiversal shop in Gealdritch's bustling downtown Realgritch district, where it remains to this day. MEF holds the record for most dimensional gateways of any Gealdritchean multiversal shop, a record that is sure to last considering Moorgahaine continues to apply for many new dimensional doorways every year.

The support structure of MEF actually comes from Gealdritch's first multiversal shop, Shoppe Xeargoor. Moorgahaine purchased the first shop's skeletal structure frame in an auction, and decided to update it and put it to good use. Due to Shoppe Xeargoor's infamous past and explosive end, rumors of MEF being haunted circulated quickly. Moorgahaine avoided the subject, and occassionally encouraged the rumors to flourish by decorating the shop with many more items said to be cursed or haunted.

On its 961st anniversary, MEF was declared a Gealdritchean historical landmark. Moorgahaine was invited to be a member of the Realgritch Rotary Club that same year, a position he continues to hold to this day. MEF is the only non-corporate business represented on the Realgritch Rotary Club board. It was also this year that Moorgahaine sold his personal home, and permanently moved into the MEF shop- thus creating Casa Encanto.

Drawbacks: Thorn doesn't relate well to organic beings. She feels most comfortable around machines and technology. She's prone to get so focused on a project or idea, that she neglects everything else (like eating or sleeping).

Advantages: Thorn is a natural when it comes to organization and engineering. She also has a photographic memory.

Abilities: The MEF shop's sentient core system communicates directly through Thorn's crystalline bone structure and shards. It is in the process of teaching her, and molding her for an unknown destiny. Her education has advanced well beyond what she would normally be able to learn, due to the shop's manipulations.
