Kimama wandered her way into the Valley. Gazing around the vast grasslands as if expecting to see someone else around. Her timid nature made her weary of her own kin and she rarely was found around another Bae. Shaking her mane so that it fell on the other side of her neck, she began to walk around the Valley slowly, taking in the scenery.
The last Nequus she had seen told her to come to this place. That had been many months ago and she had forgotten the Nequus' words until earlier that day. Abandoning the little plans she had made for that day, she went on a little journey to the Valley and had stumbled upon it a mere hour after she started her journey.
Startled by the greeness of the Valley, despite it being Winter, she seemed quite calm on the outside. She had perfected a way of keeping her emotions in check, even when she wasn't feeling like keeping them in check. Stomping one of her forehooves down on the ground, she lowered her head slightly, as if she was going to try and graze on the sweet grass.

Candy stood up high in the grasslands as she wanted to be noticed by anything in the world. She never seen anyone of her kind and thought she was one small creature in a big forest trap forever and ever. Though she never saw or met anyone she wouldn't know how to approach them or what she might do to greet them she just lied down with scrambling thoughts. She would think of things to do that might get someone to come around but she still thinks that she is the only one of her kind. Candy Flapped her wings and closed her eyes as she rested.

Kimama gazed around until she saw something red and white in the distance. She nearly ran away when she noticed that the red and white figure vanished under the tall grass. Canting her head to one side, she slowly wandered over to the figure in the distance.
It didn't take her long to notice that the figure was another Bae. Fluttering her wings slightly, part of her told her to flee, yet the other part told her to stay and meet with this new Bae. Still fluttering her wings, she took a few timid steps over to the other Bae. "Hello," she said in a nervous tone of voice.

Candy slowly opened her eyes. 3 seconds later she jumps on her hoofs and takes a few steps back. She is thinking its great to she another creature like her but she doesnt know what to do as her wings are flapping with joy. She greets by standing on her to back hoofs and flapping her wings in pride and saying her name in a very low voice. My name is Candy.

Kimama jumped back when the Bae she talked to jumped to its feet and began to flap its wings. She took a few timid steps backwards as she lowered her head down submissively. "I'm...Kimama," she said in the same nervous tone of voice. "What...are you doing out here...all alone?"

Candy said well.... i thought i was the only one in this never ending world i visit places each day and fine my self alone as her voice slightly dropped little by little.

Kimama nodded her head slightly, still keeping it bowed down out of respect of the other Bae. "I thought I was the only Nequus, too, until I met someone called Howl. He said that there were many other Nequus in this large lands and that I just had to keep looking. But the more I looked, the more I became scared of them, so I fled to a safe place until I collected up all of my courage to come out of hiding to find someone that I may call a friend." She scuffed her forehoof on the ground as she stared down at the ground. She didn't know what to think of this unfamiliar Bae in front of her.

"You can call me friend" Candy replied not knowing what a friend was she just jumped to mind that there was more of her out there in this big forest. "how do we find these other Nequus i would love to meet them and greet them" she said in a low voice.

She lifted her gaze up slowly to watch the other Bae carefully. Candy had offered her friendship, but Kimama was a little unsure of it. She shuffled her hooves slightly as she thought it over. Finally, after a few tense moments, she nodded her head.
Listening to the Bae's question, she shrugged slightly. "I don't know. I just happened to stumble across you when I was on my way exploring this part of the lands. I don't know where any more of our kin is, nor if there is any of the opposite gender."

"well i guess whatever happens hapens i just hope that i meet some other Nequus like you." Candy said. Meanwhile she replied "why dont you tell me what the meaning of friend is"?

Kimama canted her head to one side, a little confused. "Friend?" she pawed at the ground nervously with one hoof as she thought of a good definition to define the word 'friend.' "Well, it is when you trust someone you know very well, even with your life."

Candy-"Friend it sounds complicated and how many of these friends can you have"??? Candy flapped her wings in joyment as she wanted to get more friends to spend time with her instead of her being alone

Kimama shrugged her shoulders slightly. "I'm not sure, but I know of one Nequus who has several friends. So I am assuming you can have as many friends as you would like to have." She bowed her head down slightly and scuffed her forehoof on the ground again. She hadn't felt this 'alive' in a long time. Her shy nature was vanishing when she was with her new-found friend.

Candy stud up on her 2 back hoofs flapping her wings with pride. "this is exellent we must travel the world looking for these friends out there." Now back on her four hoofs she realized she made a complete fool of herself.

Kimama's shyness imediately came back and she took a few steps away from Candy. The thought of actually looking for new friends scared her and she wanted to avoid any sort of adventure like that. "Ummm....maybe," she said in a soft, shy voice.
