Fedha yawned as he paced over the grounds, his large paws lightly skimming the hard surface as his eyes dully watched the horizon. He wanted to be done with this place, but worried troubled his mind. They filled it; were drowning it. There was nothing he could do about it, mostly he was worried with his mother. She'd left a while ago... and it was obvious that Ny was pregnant. So at least part of his vision had been true. Where his mother was he knew not, but would she come back before she died?
His mind had gone numb about that thought, as if her dying didn't matter to him. It was easy to block out anything after a while, he'd found. He'd visited the pridelands a few times, his mind was working over time and he no longer went there because of teacher needs. He was big now and he knew his mind was rather developed, it would be no good to learn some one else's way right now.
He was approaching the river bank, where hills and rocks littered the land. He approached a rather large boulder and hopped on, stretching out his limbs as he lay down, ears pricking up.

*Wide eyes softly narrowed as Ausi sat herself down beside the river bank, opposite to where Fedha rested. A chill ran down her spin as she sighed and gazed into the waters that softly graced along the earth’s dry surface; the current gasped for air as it roughly brushed against the edges of the earth that enclosed the river and sent it plummeting onward into the land of the Kusini'Mwezi. This water was wild, untamable; to her this water was a sign. She was one with the water, even if she had lost her pride and her home. The water… it was apart of her and for this fact alone it entranced her.
Fedha was untamable- and this she knew, as she slowly took her gaze from the waters to him. She wanted to be closer to him, and as time passed and she grew in age it became more apparent to her that she felt other feelings toward him… besides being a friend, Ausi felt something else swell up within her chest each time her eyes fell upon his dull form.
Though she knew he didn’t feel the same, or at least… that’s what she thought she knew; she could never really know for sure, because Fedha was… as she said before… like the water; untamable. With a soft sigh she lifted her gaze from him and sniffed the air. This place… this place was not her home and she didn’t feel like herself here… but she would stay… for a while at least.*

Fedha hated it in these lands, they depressed him. Was it because Ny was living here, or because of the large family and all of this 'family love' thick in the air... so thick it suffocated quicker than his thoughts drowned... he didn't know if it was how the land varried too much, too quickly or if it was because this was the starting land for his mother's obvious doom... none of it mattered and all of it mattered, he just wished the unbidden thoughts would stop flooding ever creavus of his brain. His tail lashed and his nostrils flared.
Ausi? He'd known that scent for a long time now, it was easy to pick up from other smells around him. His head turned slowly and his eyes landed on her from accross the river. He pitied the river, so rough and ever-going, never given a rest. At least this land had two types of water; the ever calm lakes and the ever violent river. It was easy to chose which spot fit his mood.
"What ar eyou doing?" His voice had grown more arrogant than ever, and again he was much bigger than Ausi. His tone obviously demanded a response.

“Oh...”
*Ausi spoke out to him as he spoke. Her left paw slowly moved to bat at the waters as she passed before she stopped and gazed over at him with a dull smile. This place was killing her… she didn’t smile as much here… maybe that was because of what Fedha told her.. What would happen to his mother… maybe; but she also felt like this place drained her. Ausi needed to be out and about, being in one place for too long drove her mad.
Looking away from him again she sighed and quickly lifted herself from her resting place and started to walk again. She moved away from him and followed the river out of boredom.*
“Mmm…”
*She muttered to herself as she completely ignored him and slowly trailed off after the waters that flowed past her.*

His face scrunched slightly in confusement and he suddenly stood again, slowly letting himself off of the rock. "Ausi?" He called after her, obviously he'd come to terms with shortening names. He still didn't like being ignored though... but something inside hurt this time, something was wrong with her.
His tail lashed behind him as he hurried his legs to catch up. "You shouldn't ignore me." He said dully, now just behind her. Had she really been so little before? He wasn't extraordinarily larger than her, but he was used to being closer in size with her.
Suddenly he stopped all together, his head snapping toward the west. His heart was quickening and he felt a little woozy. He felt sick to his stomach. It was done. Something just let him know Denge had passed on... But something still bade onimous in the back of his mind. Why hadn't a vision come? "We can leave now." He breathed out. He had not moved from the spot, or turned his gaze back to her. He stood frozen.

“Mmm?”
*Ausi mumbled as she turned her head toward him. At first she didn’t react to his sudden change in reactions but after a few seconds of gazing at him she frowned and spoke out.*
“Fedha? Fedha?”
*Moving herself around she stood in front of him and gazed up at his face. Something was wrong- with a soft tone she called out again.*
“Fedha…? What’s going on?”
*Maybe he... did he have another vision? Cocking her head to the side she gazed up at him with her bright blue eyes and softly mewed.*
“Fedha-- come back to me!”
*With a soft tug at his mane the tiny lioness nipped at him and nudged her head along his white mane, trying to regain his attention.*

He shook his head softly as she interacted with him, the glaze slowly melting away from his eyes. "...Nothing. We can just... go. We're done in this place Ausi." He murmered, his eyes traveling down to meet her own. They were icey again, cold stone that gave nothing away except that there was everything to give away. The kind of eyes that held secrets and fears, dreams... hopes? Stone eyes that gave nothing away, because everything was locked behind them. The only thing eyes like that did was make one guess what lay behind them.
"I'm... okay. I just zoned out." He watched her another moment before his eyes flicked back to the horizon. "Are you ready to leave this place?" Was he actually inviting her along with him?

*With a soft nod the tiny lioness sighed and gazed back at the lands before her. Something inside knew why he had acted in such a way… apart of her knew why he was ready to leave. He came her for one thing only... so It was only natural to leave after this… event happened. With a soft mew she looked down at her paws, feeling tears come to her eyes. She wouldn’t cry in front of him though—no she would save that for later.
With a soft nod Ausi sniffed and slowly started to pad onward, glancing over at Fedha every now and then. She wondered what it was he was thinking at this very second, was he sad? Moving a bit closer to him Ausi gave him a slight nuzzle before moving back to her place as she walked onward; she would take him to the place her father told her to go back to… maybe they could rest there for a while.*

Everything was starting to feel so surreal. What the hell was he supposed to do, why did he feel so stuck in everything? He needed to do some serious thinking.
He felt something brush against him breifly, and where it had been a warmth swept over the area, quickly followed by a chill. His gaze flickered to Ausi for a second, and he shook his head a fraction. He needed to be by himself again soon. He needed to get things done. Denge. Mom. Dead. Oh god.
He remembered his breif encounter with the goddess. Futures change all of the time... had he set his mother's corse of this future simply by telling her? Would Ny have died? He didn't know, he didn't know!
He shut his eyes tightly, trying to regain his composure and his mind-numbness. After a moment it worked. "Where are we headed, Ausi?"

“To the ocean… the ocean pride knows of me... my father wanted me to join them while he left to do other things…”
*The realization of what she just said slowly sank in. Ausi was homeless right now and if Fedha got sick of her and booted her, why then she wouldn’t have any other place to go.*
“You know... I gave up my friendship with my sister to find you again...”
*Ausi states dully before looking away from him. She often felt some times the sacrifice wasn’t worth it.*
“Anyway.. it’s a long walk from here… better get moving.”

The ocean pride? He racked his brain for 'ocean' and slowly but surely he remembered. The big wet. The land of water. Whatever you wanted to call it, it had much more water than even their homeland. He guessed he could go there, it was better than the dry lands.
At her next words guilt washed over him, and then quickly a flash of anger replaced it. "I didn't ask you to." He growled out, trying to restrain himself from saying anything more negative to Ausi.
He rose to his paws and began to walk ahead of her, even though he didn't know the direction he was supposed to go. "Fine, let's go then."
