"So... this is the third round. I'm getting close..." The crowd cheers as the next combatant walks to the center of the ring. He looks around as his ivory hair flocks from side to side. A blink with the emerald orbs look to the opposite side of the arena.
Who's the next opponent?

+++Clad in dark-grey armor, with a white hawk, ready to strike, inlaid upon his right-bicep and one likewise imprinted on his left-brest of his armor, he strode forward, upright. There was no weapon in his hands, but he had his particle sword on his right-leg and a MK87 Mod12 Particle rifle across his back, plus various grenades. His visage was held in secrecy by his helmet, and his armor did the same with the rest of his body. +++Corant Ja`Kalie, amoung the Sixth Generation of the Cybrid warriors from the Solarian Federation, stared at his opponent, his mind calculating the first move, but his body remained still and firm, albeit his fingers tapped his thigh rythemically. The shielding of the armor glimmered right there as he did, considering the force his fingers could deliver in a single tap. Corant considered drawing the blade, but did not. Not yet, at least, his mind decided. He could end this quickly, unless his opponent had something up his sleeve as well.

Kimimaro merely yawns, simultaneously, his right hand lifts upward to his opponent giving a gesture to 'bring it.'

Corant picked up a clod of dirt and sand in each hand, compressing it into two balls, then getting a third, which he dropped to the ground, one after another, kicking towards the opponent at a rather quick speed. Ja`Kalie waited to see what would happen, one hand ready to grab the MK87 Mod12 Particle rifle and the other on the sword.

Kimimaro just stood there as each ball bypasses him.
Two went directly by his appendages, while the last, zips by his face. His stance stays the same as the hand drops to the side.

That was odd, simply because a Sixth Generation Cybrid didn't miss a stationary target, even if they had to kick at something on the horizon line. Of course, that told him all he needed to know, that his enemy wasn't moving. As he grabbed a few more, this time the objects in question were stones. As he clutched them in his hand - three, to be exact, a small slot on the wrist of his armor produced a small, high-yield orb, generally the same grey color as the rocks in his hand, and slipped into his hand, unnoticable to his foe. He dropped the first rock and kicked it towards the chest of his opponent. The second did likewise, but the orb was third instead of the rock. Set to remote detonate, it was set to a 25 foot radii. But as the third projectile sped towards Kimimaro, Corant's right arm reached behind him, pulling off the MK87 Mod12 Particle rifle as his left chucked the last rock on the side opposite that the orb would be likely to pass on - at over Mach 2. That'd create a sonic boom to push Kimimaro slightly towards the orb, should he try to dodge, but not enough that it could boost him if he tried to ride the shockwave - even if he had the reaction time fast enough to tell it was coming.

But he missed, there's no explaination to it. It was directed towards the target, but not entirely at the target's body parts. They went sailing by.
Now, though, the situation has change from the usage of the sand to the usage of stones. But were these stones big enough to cause any harm? They flew directly towards Kimimiaro, two of which were directly at Kimimaro's chest.
His ribs sprout forth when the stones hit against his chest, but when the third came around, his body hardened due to the fact that his bone mask developes making his body harder than the stones. Even if the explosion occurs, Kimimaro will stand there with his hands directly over his face in fist forms while the forearms have four bones sprouting out of them.

Judging by the technology of his armor, one would certainly deduce that the ball-grenade was of equal technology to his rifle and Particle Blade, and, indeed, it was. With the MK87 Mod12 Particle rifle trained on the man as the grenade exploded in a deep purple flame, it engulfed the area, 25 feet in radius, exploding just inches in front of Kimimaro. The plasma enveloping the vicinity wasn't just red-hot, nor was it white-hot - it was purple-hot, with such heat and energy intensity that it borderlined to go into the Ultra-violet spectrum of light and energy, past the visible light one, reaching a violent heat that could turn even tungsten nearly into a vapor, and melt diamond. The Solarian Federation designed weapon kept the plasma explosion contained to that specific area, but Corant's shields even flickered as the heat washed over him, but he was not phased. The fury raged quickly, creating a four-foot hole in the ground, turning that surface into a very hot, very refined glass of a rainbow of colors. Just to finish things off, Corant Ja`Kalie fired three particle rifle shots directly into the inferno of plasmatic energy and burning air, which was doomed to die out soon with a void of air, which would create a back-wind towards where the explosion had happened. And if any of the crowd wondered, the plasma explosion did not carry enough kinetic energy to move Kimimaro more than a hair's breadth (until the main fatal force of it was already past), unless he were literally as light as a feather, but that would not be enough to save the feather from inceneration.

Going against someone who uses technology to advance will be difficult for this human, Kimimaro. But with the bone mask to its full effect upon his body, the creation of the purple-hot heat merely burns his bones making an obsidian skeleton.
Yet the emerald hued orbs stare directly towards his opponent while he dashes towards his opponent, skin peeling slightly from his rushing.
Kimimaro would reach directly in front of Corant with both arms being like blades thrusting them forward directly towards the neck portion of the opponent to slice the man's head off.

Of course, avoiding this required one quick move. Corant flipped backwards onto one of his hands, kicking outward with enough force to shame a mule and enough speed to bring a cobra to his knees, and the fact that his heels were out as he propelled his legs towards the other's gut didn't help. Of course, he made things interesting: twisting the barrel of his particle rifle down, he leveled it at Kimimaro's chest, pulling the trigger once. None of it helped that his opponent was also still in motion. As Newton said 'The natural motion of objects is constant velocity.' And objects in motion didn't like to stop without some applied force.

Since the back handspring occurs. Kimimaro's eyes set directly upon his opponent. That the kick coming towards him, wouldn't hit him due tot he fact that Kimimaro's body would go forward, shifting towards the right.
Then, in doing so, Kimimaro cartwheels out of the opponent's view to get away from the shooting nature his opponent has.
Apparently, his opponent is severely weak in the hand to hand category.

If Kimimaro wanted to think that, Corant really didn't care. Corant liked the distance advantage and held it dear to him, just as dear as he held his rifle. Nor was it hard to change his field of view. Corant Ja`Kalie's feet hit the ground before his back could, and he spun his body down to be on one knee; in midspin, his thumb flipped a switch on the side, converting the gun to being fully-automatic in an instant. On his knee, he fired nearly eighty-shots in the course of several seconds, his built-in AI modules not only speeding his reaction time to several hundreths of that a normal human's, but helping his nervous system correct his aim simultaneously. He did make a spreading-motion, the barrel tracking Kimimaro's chest with utmost accuracy, as if attached to it by a pole, each heavily energized particle shot speeding at just under the speed of light and powerful enough to bring down WWII battleships in a single blow. Recoil, do the strength, dexterity, and reaction times of the Sixth Generation of Cybrids, was not a problem, nor did it hamper accuracy in any manner. Corant ejected the clip, even though it was not fully expended, and in the blink of an eye had a new one ready, and just for fun, with a kick, the clip followed the shots in toward's Kimimaro. Of course, cartwheeling would make it unbelievably hard to dodge, as Kimimaro's body was spinning - and there was a central axis - his chest and stomach - that did not move enough to be missable. Hands and feet moreso, but that would still require a reaction time that could liquify organs to dodge.

Truly, this was an amateur.
The only thing that would have worked is to attack with the usage of a better precision than that of relying upon the AI. Because Artificial Intelligence can make mistakes as well. And here was the mistake, in order to send an particle weapon bullet to go just under the speed of light, means that the bullet itself will be under so much pressure and temperature that the eventual bullet would melt under such friction and burn in the air.
Kimimaro's body was simply reacting with instinct as his ribcage extends out of his body propelling the bullets off of him while he spins, then suddenly, he stops his spinning motion looking directly towards his opponent. His bones continue to go back and reside back inside of his body.
The radial bone extends from Kimimaro's right hand becoming a blade itself as he slices through the air in a fanning fashion to distort the remaining bullets. His taijutsu skills were supreme and fast as well. A Cybrid would have to find another means to attack such an individual whose bones can be indestructible. The control of calcium can be interesting.
Kimimaro's pores open releasing a gas-like fume covering the area...
What was this?

But that needed to be reconsidered, as each 'bullet' really long series of very tiny balls of neutrons invisible to the human eye, but still large enough to cause damage, especially at their speed. The result was roughly the effect of 250 pounds of TNAZ explosives aimed at one point, and the chains of neutrons were far too small to be spun off - as they were, after all, moving near the speed of light and were small enough to pierce anything trying to spin them off. Despite their size, they were extremely deadly and powerful - after all, the speed of light was unbelievably fast, around 299,792,458 meters per second. Give or a take a meter or two because of the atmosphere. A single shot, in comparison, was as powerful as seventy-one 120mm tank rounds. The Solarian Federation did not lightly invest. Of course, ridding a shockwave as they did, the balls wouldn't all hit one spot - they'd spread out ever so slightly, even more increasing their damage, and impact was only the first stage of their destruction, the shockwaves produced would wreck havoc. As well, one would have to consider that the particles, moving at such speeds, would form a vacuum around them, just as hypersonic aircraft did. Thusly, there would be a hair-thin line of fire out of the barrel for a few meters, then a fist-sized, burning shockwave following each 'bullet' of particles forming a white cylinder for the bullets to pass straight through the center of, and most would attempt to spread out as they did.
