As if it matters, I'm entered in the Arena this week, and I've been in the Spotlight screen thing quite a few times, so I've gotten quite a few comments.
YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE HOW MANY HORRIBLY RUDE ONES I HAVE DELETED.
People (some that don't even look like n00bs) saying stuff like
This is the ugliest piece of work I have ever seen. Why don't you go crawl in a hole and die now?
You stupid b***h this SUCKS!
WTF are you smoking, entering this s**t?
You need Fairy Wings you stupid! Goddamn newbies!
ths is ok but i wanna win so u git a 1 nd go by some wingz

(I deleted all of my mean comments so far, so I don't have any references too them, that's why they're not direct quotes).
And I KNOW that this is quite common in the arena right now, but no other avatar I've ever entered (and I have entered a LOT) has ever gotten this kind of hate! I've actually had to change my PMs to friends only because I've gotten so much angry mail. Then this one guy left a comment on my profile calling my a b***h because he couldn't send me the hate mail! gonk
It's true, I've gotten about 25 pages of wonderful comments, and people have told me they loved my avi. I'm just really upset with all these asses! I don't MIND negative comments, as long as they are helpful and not MEAN! I don't think it's a very helpful thing to call someone a stupid b***h for no reason. Every time I'm in the Spotlight thing, I get downvoted until I'm out! Why is everyone on Gaia as mean as everyone in real life?
(Because people on Gaia ARE in real life, Tanpopo). DUH xd
I suppose I'm just being too sensitive, but I feel like crying right now, and that's not fun. ):

Are they ******** STUPID?
Fairy wings are cyan, not blue, not pink, not yellow, not white.

Just goes to show that there's assholes in every bunch...
Not that that's much consolation though...
The best I can say... try to imagine them standing in front of you in their underwear... (classic, ne?) but, with you pointing a nice, long .50 cal Sniper rifle at them... then imagine you firing it, and their head just exploding from the shock... ^_^

I consider winged fairies to be a concept marketed by Disney, not a true part of mythology and old fiction. So that's why I didn't go through the whole questing thing. But just you saying that makes me feel all happy inside, because it reminds me that there are really wonderful people on Gaia, who actually have feelings. *Hugs* I like you! 4laugh
