 Jaha sat on a rock quietly listening to nature and his red mane ruffled in the wind. He is a very quiet lion and tends to listen to lions talk to him but makes short responses unless he knows them well. His paw dangled in the water, as he watched the fish and their natural,glistening, quiet beauty. He loves nature and all of its sounds. ((Sorry, I'm not very good at RPing yet. sweatdrop ))

She was walking slow today. So tired, so very tired. She flopped onto the ground. She was so hungry and so thirsty. Peering around she saw silouettes of figures. So hungry, she was tired, too tired to walk. "Where shall my soul bring me today?" she asked aloud. Voice carried off by the wind. She wondered if this day would be any different. She wondered if today she might be granted freedom from the pain that insued against her heart and made it ache with pain.

Jaha layed in the water on his back. He was quite content laying around after a good meal of fish. He got out of the water and shook his fur and sat on his large river rock listening to the birds chirp.

 Something splashed. Rage looked up and peered around, her throat went dry, splashing meant that there was...water? Something white and red moved not too far from her. She could almost taste the cool liquid upon her tongue. So thirsty now she stood up, wobbled and padded forward slowly. Her wings pulled against her back, she did not have an illusion to make her appear mortal, she was as she was born.

Jaha saw something big and black, bigger than him!
Uncertain if he wanted to meet anyone so big, he dove into the water with a big splash. He saw that it was approaching so he surfaced, took a large breath and dove underwater again.
He wasn't very fond of strangers so only animals who don't mind talking while the other listens for a while would become friends with him.

Ryu'Rage smiled faintly, breathed deep as she approached the water's edge. Another splash and a figure was gone. She paid no mind, was was no threat to anyone at this moment. The beast inside her was terribly weakened, barely able to move or make a voice in her mind. She flopped at the edge and craned her neck towards the water and lapped up the cool water. It made her sigh with relief.
For too long she had been deprived of water and food.

Jaha's lungs could not stand it anymore! He saw the large black blur at the surface of the water but he HAD to take a breath. He surfaced and saw the large winged female. He decided against speaking to her. Maybe, just maybe she didn't notice him.

Ryu'Rage watched as something surfaced, took a breath and just, sat there. She tilted her head at him, was he nervous? He seemed to be. Why would he be nervous? Probably her wings she decided. "Hello..." she said softly, perhaps he wouldn't be so nervous if she said something.

"Hi..." he said very softly. He wondered who she was and if she would hurt him if he accedentily insulted her. It was a good thing he didn't talk very much. He observed her from a bit of a distance. Hopefully, she wasn't agressive.

Ryu'Rage tilted her head at him, so strange to hide and back away as he did. Was she that intimidating? She really didn't mean to be, she really didn't. "It's alright...I won't hurt you..." she said calmly, almost in a whisper. As if she was hiding that fact from the darkened half in her. She wondered if her other half was asleep and resting at this moment, so thats why she hadn't intervened yet. "Who...are you?" She was curious, she had to be with this brightly colored male.

"Jaha" he said softly as he sawm closer to the winged female. As he approched, he realized that she seemed sincere and seemed a bit more friendly. He swam near her and layed himself down on "his" river rock to dry he did not say anything but istead waited for her to say something.

Rage offered a faint smile, she still couldn't manage a full smile yet. She hated that fact in moments like this, when others seemed to be afraid. But the darkness was gone for now, this Jaha was safe. "Well then Jaha..." she said as she lay on the ground and pulled her wings closer to herself, "What might one as yourself be doing way out here?"

Jaha made a gesture toward the river. "There is food, water and comfort.", he said a little bit more warmly. He rolled onto his stomach to let the other side of him dry. He shook his scarlet mane and sat before Rage.

Then he was out on his own then? He seemed so shy, she wondered if it was safe for someone like him to be out here all alone when other more dangerous creature could be about, besides her that is. "You live out here then? Is it nice?" she asked, curious, always curious she was.

Jaha sat in silence for a few minutes. "Yes, it is" he said slightly more friendly. He gestured toward the water and said with a slight smile, "See for yourself." He walked into the water and floated on his back in the water.
