What's in your head ~
Thanks for the rejection. I really don't care if I'm not up to snuff. D:
Anyway, here's my latest drawing. It's a self-portrait.
I never said it had to be realistic. It's a slight charicature.
I know it's not great, but please tell me what you think.

This'll sound weird, but the crotch on the pants is unusually high. Also, the elbow on the right arm looks dislocated. I do like her outfit.

I like her outfit, too.
When you drew this, did you draw the body and then draw the clothes onto it, or draw the clothes, imagining the body underneath?

Thanks. I'm actually wearing that right now, with different shoes.
I did a bit of both - a rough body outline underneath, sometimes I just guessed as I drew clothes. It's a little inaccurate, but hey.

I think that you could benefit quite a bit from a deeper understanding of human anatomy - I'd suggest that you ask for an anatomy book for christmas if appliccable.

The first thing I noticed about this besides the fact that I'd wear those pants and vest was that your hiding the hands... EMBRACE THE HANDS. Ruthlessly pound the s**t out of hands through illustration until they bend to your WILL...

I love the detail of the earrings! Maybe a little variance in line weight could help this drawing become a little less flat. Pay attention to where lines become heavier or lighter and incorporate that into your drawings. smile Cool style though, love the outfit. 3nodding
