Conny had decided to leave his mate sleep and decided to take Hunter and his brother out for a couple of hours so he wasnt disturbed. Conny pushed the pram into the store and looked around for a spare sofa and moved over to it, positioning the pram so that it was in the perfect place for him to easily reach it and sat down.
Conny looked at Kaleb sleeping and decided to not wake him, instead he reached down and picked up his Hunter who was wide awake and cuddled him, making sure the blanket was nice aned snug around him and settled back on the sofa. Conny sighed as he kissed his sons forehead and softly hummed an old lullaby his mother sang to him when he was little, blocking out basically every other noise in the store, dispite it beaing near dead anyway, but his own two sons breathing, content just being here with them.

It was an odd time of night, a time when most of the world slept. Foxglove found it peaceful, and much different from the hustle-and-bustle of the daytime hours. He wasn't usually up at such a time, but he found himself unable to get comfortable. He usually could relax when things started to wind down around the apartment complex, but for some reason he felt restless. Usually reading a book would help, but he just didn't want to sit still. "It's probably because I haven't been out in a while. The weather's been so bad lately..." he grumbled amusedly at himself, a soft smirk gracing his lips.
He found himself roaming the city, a large furred coat wrapped around his shoulders and a thick scarf covering his mouth from the biting cold. It wasn't as cold as it had been earlier that week, but the closer it came to winter's beginning the more likely it was to get colder; never could be too careful, right? However, nothing he passed had intrigued him enough for him to enter, so it didn't take him long to give up and start from the shop. After all, there were people there at all times of the day, right?
Opening the front door slowly, he slid into the room swiftly and closed the door behind him. He didn't want to let the cold in with him, as he was already chilled and didn't want to make anyone else suffer. To his surprise, he immediately spotted Conny sitting on the couch, but caught himself from calling over to him when he saw the child he was holding. A child? Interested, he moved over to Convel's side, spaded tail waving happily while he unwrapped his scarf from his mouth. He leaned over the armrest of the couch and looked to the wolf, softly and quietly speaking, "Hello, Conny. Long time no see, eh? Who is this?" He grinned, happy to see him again.

((   Their the cuties by the way, you can see how much Hunter looks like his mother (well that family line, when it comes to looks, dates back to their great grandfather at least but that isnt the point. XD) and due to him looking like his mother we get your sister adoring the cute wittle guy because she loves Conny so much. XD)) Conny took a few moments to regester the voice since he was so content and some what lost in his own world sort of that he was near out of it when Foxglove spoke. Conny shook his head gently and looked at the demon and smiled "you are so bright" he blurted out before being able to stop himself "erm...I mean, hey Foxglove, it has been a while" he said a little sheepishly "im sorry about the other remark, it was rude of me, I guess I havent seen you in a while so I have forgotten how bright you were, of course you are still as cute as I remember, just forgot about your skin. Not that I hate it or anything, I dont, the complete opposite actually, I just...." Conny trailed of and sighed "...I just better sut up now before I end up offending you more so in some way" he said turning away, blush appearing on his cheeks as he looked at his son. Conny, in his views at least, thought he has offended the demon and that wasnt good, he didnt want to nor did he mean anything by the brightness remark, in proper conversation one compliments the others clothing or something not the color of their skin as it was rude. Conny sighed a little and then carried on, still looking down at his son "these two cuties are my two sons." He said proudly "the one in the pram sleeping is Kaleb and the one in my arms who just doesnt want to sleep..." he said tickling Hunter a bit which made him giggle dispite him sucking his thumb "..."is Hunter" he contined as he got up and made room for the demon so he could sit down next to him.

(( Sorry for taking so long to reply. Lost the power and internet the day I was going to reply back, and then the internet refused to work. Still is being a pain, but at least I'm able to get on, neh? xd Three more storms headed our way, but I'm gonna get on as much as possible! They shouldn't be as bad, anyway.
Eeee! They are so adorable! I can see why she likes him, but they are both cute! *dies* Congratulations! heart ))
Foxglove burst out laughing at Convel's first words, holding his mouth to try to stifle the sound. He couldn't help it, it was rather amusing! He gripped onto the couch's framing and crouched behind it, trying to get himself under control again before he peeked back up. He didn't want to wake up the little one in the pram and startle the other, so he managed to stop his laughter in just seconds after thinking it through. His laughter stemmed from his joy at seeing an old friend after so long, something he rarely found he could do. He hadn't been so happy in so long!
Popping back up after a moment of silence, Foxglove beamed down at Convel and waved his hand. "I'm sorry? No need for that. Come on, we're friends, aren't we? Little things like that don't bug me coming from a friend," he smiled, speaking carefully and quietly in the silence all around them. He blushed brightly as Convel mentioned that he was 'cute,' something he hadn't heard before, but didn't do anything more. "No problem. After all, it's been waay too long since we've seen each other last. No offense taken whatsoever," he offered again, putting his hand on Conny's head playfully.
"You're looking well. Life's been pretty good to you, I see," he said with a slight laugh, dipping his head down next to the wolf's shoulder to take a peek at Hunter. He hadn't really ever interacted with a child before, and found himself in awe over the two. As Convel moved, Fox quickly yet quietly walked around the sofa and sat lightly next to his friend. "They're so small..." he said, taking Hunter's hand delicately between his index finger and thumb. "Congratulations, Conny. They're beautiful!"

((Thank you! I cant wait to see when they grow up. ^.^
And we have ecided, the one that looks like Conny is mine and the other is Fishys.))
Conny chuckled as he snuggled up agiesnt the demon, letting him have a closer look at the child in his arms "I know, they are tiny, to think you and I were once like this." He said as he kissed the childs forehead and then looked back to Foxglove "thank you, I love my mate greatly though, admitedly, for a moment there I thought I might end up with you" he said, blush returning a little. "not that it would of been a bad thing, I did have a crush on you for the longest time even if we had only seen each other once before."
He said as he noticed his son reach out to the demon wishing to be held "and this one, I forgot to mention, is a reall attention seeker, he loves people unlike my mate and I. Sure we dont mind them but still we dont go seeking attention like this one does, not sure where he gets it from either...ok so maybe I do, dad can get rather attention seekerish when he wants to." He said with a small chuckle, wondering if his father had noticed he had a grandson who was a little like him.
"Would you like a hold?" He asked offering the child to the demon "its alright, you will be fine, just cradle his head with your arm as you hold him in the nook of your arm and you should be fine." He said as he made sure the blanket was on him a little more, not wanting him to get sick from the coolness that was in the store, sure there was a fire going but still it didnt seem enough for a baby, especially not when you are sitting over the other side of the room.
((Sorry its not as detailed as I would have liked it to be, im sort of on my way out to do a bit of christmas shopping so im not concitrating as much as I should.))

(( I can't wait to see them grown, either! And I remember saying this when waiting for Convel to grow... xd And that sounds easy to remember!
No problem about the detail, it's good enough! ^^ I'm also used to replying to short paragraphs as well, so this shouldn't be a problem anyway. X3 Have fun shopping! ))
Foxglove smirked at Conny's comment as he tickled at Hunter's chubby arm. "Naw, I was never this small. I was always an adult. Never was an inch shorter than I am now," he said jokingly, yet exhaled softly a sigh. "But really, I can't remember being so small. I can't remember a lot of my childhood," he explained, still grinning at the child. The baby intrigued him, being of small stature yet holding on to life so strongly. Usually animals of such a size died off at an early age compared to them, but these children... they grew up to the size of an adult. It was almost preposterous if he didn't know it to be true. They were such the miracle of life.
As Convel continued, Foxglove found himself mildly shocked. He had had a crush on him? He could be rather close-minded about such things, but nobody had ever actually had a crush on him before. He snickered a little to help brush it off before grinning to his friend, "Well, when you find the perfect mate you know it, and I wasn't it. I can just be... Uncle Fox." The sound of it made him want to laugh some more, but the silence was so still, so comforting, he didn't want to break it.
He blinked at Hunter as the child reached out to him, feeling a mixture of shock, happiness, and even a tinge of fear. He didn't know how exactly he was to act around a child, being so malnourished in the knowledge of it, and he didn't want to hurt or scare the child in any way. He listened as Conny told him where he must've gotten his outgoing personality from, and it made Fox smile at the thought. "The personalities go down the lines that far after skipping? Wow..." he murmured before the wolf offered him to hold the child. He jumped slightly, still a little unnerved at his own lack of intuition on the matter. "Oh, I don't know. I might not be any good with kids. I don't want to hurt the little guy," he protested quietly while simultaneously taking the baby into his own arms. Conny was hard to argue with, if only because Fox hated arguing, but in the back of his mind he was willing to learn anything. He listened to the wolf's instructions on how to hold him and complied. "He's so soft..." he cooed, hoping he was doing it right. "Hello there, little guy," he spoke to Hunter, not wanting to move either arm.

((LOL and just look at how cute Conny turned out to be! His son is going to be a mini him but with rabbit ears (look wise at least). XD))
Conny moved a little closer smiling down at the child who yawned and snuggled agiesnt the demon "you are doing fine" he said as he stroaked his sons hair. "You will some day find the perfect mate, I promise, I know it will just take time though, if you want I could always send around a few eligable bachelors from the estate, im sure one of them would love you" he offered, half serious though half joking also.
Conny thought for a moment, the whole 'uncle Fox' thing sounded nice and all but he wondered if there could be something more to this, he would have to check with his mate. Conny bit his bottom lip and thought some more, this usually was a sort of thing one would ask siblings or brothers/other family first if they wanted to be god parents but maybe...in this case, he could get Fox to be.
I would have to ask my mate but if he says yes would you like to be godfather to these two? I know my mate has yet to meet you but as you were technically my first friend then maybe he might not mind TOO much even if he hasnt meet you." He offered the demon, knowing that he would have to speak to his mate once he gets home, he was as easy going as Conny was so he was sure he wouldnt mind but, of course, it was bes to ask as he was the other half in this relationship.

(( No kidding! Not to mention I love Raven's artwork~! X3 They both are going to be to die for! ))
He laughed nervously as Convel told him he was doing good, but he couldn't help but feel a little nervous. A tiny life in his hands... he didn't want to let either of them down in any way. He gasped slightly as Hunter yawned, quietly mumbling, "He's getting sleepy!" He adjusted his hand slowly and carefully so that he was able to rub his shoulder gently to soothe the child to sleep, the feeling of the little one's warm body soothing his own tensed nerves to a relaxed state. It wasn't too hard!
He turned to Conny again as he began speaking once more. His smile was soft and subtle, but he declined the offer with a mild shake of his head. "No need to do that, Conny. I know there's someone perfect out there for me, and if there is, we're fated to meet. Isn't that right?" he said as his grin grew. He was grateful that his longtime friend was offering, but he didn't want to push it. Forcing something to come wasn't going to make life easier, and he didn't want to try that. "However...," he said, as if on a second thought, "if there's someone you think i should meet, I can't see why not. After all, making friends is just as good, if it comes to that!"
His heart nearly skipped a beat as Conny asked him that final question, a surprised blush creeping onto his cheeks. "You...-- Really? You wouldn't mind? I'd be honored!" he exclaimed, realizing afterward he needed to keep his voice down. Rocking Hunter mildly like he had seen Conny do moments before, he found himself speechless. Conny had trusted him enough to put his children's lives in his hands? His joy was so overwhelming that before he knew it, he was fighting off the tears that threatened to expose themselves. "Though... I think it might be better if I met your mate first. After all, it'd be in everyone's best interest, right?" he continued, voice half-muffled as he buried his chin in the scarf around his neck. He realized the irony in the fact that he, a demon, was getting so worked up over being asked to be a godparent, and even the fact he may become a godparent was ironic, but he didn't care; he was in a world of happiness.

Conny smiled "yes, he is getting tired but he cant go to sleep yet" he said as he grabed a bottle out of his bag, ran to the kitchen and heated it up, tested it and then ran back out. He offered the bottle to his son who took it stright away and started to suck on it happily even though he was tired "the other had his bottle before we left home, this one just didnt want his but im glad hes having it now."
Conny said as he sighed softly "and there are a few people I know you would love, even if it did just end up as friends but its all up to you, its your call, I dont want to put you out or anything." He said as he stroaked his sons hear "the honor is all mine, I would be more then happy to have you as my sons godfather, of course we will now have to set up a date to meet my mate but still if he says yes then I guess welcome to the family."
Conny said as he wraped his arms carefully around the demon to cuddle him, watching his son incase anything happened. He to was now in his own happy world, nothing could upset him now, not when everything was so perfect...well almost, it would be completely perfect if his mate said yes.
