Maybe spiffy banners will be shoved in here later. Or whatever.
For now, all you need to know is that this is Tsu's quest for a GotP. :3

Name: Razelt Gender: Male Abilities: Strength - Razelt will possess an unimaginable amount of strength even when he is very young (the ability to pick up a TV as a toddler), and will only grow stronger when he matures. This is simply brute physical strength, of course, and while he will be powerful, he has his limits on how hard he can push himself. For example, he can probably pick up most thins that are double, if not triple his weight. So, as an adult, perhaps he'll be able to hold a mini-van up in the air. Just because he can doesn't mean he can do so for very long--if he isn't careful, Razelt could easily injure himself by ripping the muscles in his arms and back. Magic Resistance - Though Ogres are deathly afraid of magic, their thick skin enables them to repel harmful spells. Has no affect things like hypnosis and abilities that influence the mind. Blood Lust - When Razelt becomes a teen, he will be able to invoke a powerful ability known as fer'engata, or the blood lust of an ogre. He basically goes into a blood-red fury, unleashing the primative monster within, and destroying anything in his path. Speech will be beyond him in this form, and Razelt will attack both friend and foe. His entire body will go numb--attacks will be met with little or no reaction at all. It's a dangerous ability, but well worth it when taking on a group by himself. Only sharp, sudden realization (say he'd nearly taken out a friend, and it was a near miss) can rouse him from this blood lust, and when it's over, Razelt is liable to sleep for hours, if not days. [x]Iron Stomach - Food is scarce in the cold, harsh climates of the mountains, so Ogres have adapted to the point where they can eat almost anything in order to survive. Weaknesses: Slowed Speeed - Because of Razelt's hefty bulk, his speed is considerably lacking. While, as a teen and up, he'll be able to switch to a somewhat faster lope, Razelt will never be an agile, or nimble fighter. This being said, he's more or less the war tank. He takes almost all the damage thrown at him, since he can't avoid it, and his only option is to deal it back, if he can. Lack of Mental Capabilities - Ogres were not known for their prowess or undeniable wit--they were thought to be slow and stupid creatures. An to an extent, Razelt falls neatly under that category. His mind functions with animalistic instincts, and Razelt often attacks first and asks questions later. His mother, being an educated book fanatic, will do her best to try and instill some basic education in his thick skull, but for the most part, it will not stick. Razelt figures things out by gut feelings, not by logic and reasoning. Race/Species/Element: Mountain Ogre Hair and eye colors: Fierce, bold yellow eyes and light brown, semi-wavy hair. Physical description From Wand-Adult: The base of Razelt's wand will be constructed from granite that comes from the heart of the mountain where he once used to live. Rough pieces of leather will be tied around the head of the wand, with small trinkets of bloodied bone dangling from the ends of said leather straps. A fierce, grotesque face will be set in the center of the wand, depicting a snarling face carved out of stone--obviously what appears to be a symbol for battle. Within the center of the mouth lies a beautiful red fragment of a jewel, obviously heartstone. Baby: As a baby, Razelt will have grey skin, looking not unlike a boulder. He's very thick, and his lips are too small to fully cover his teeth, so he often looks like he's snarling with his fangs exposed, almost like a bull dog. His eyes are very bright and seem to bulge a little, giving him a permanently intense stare. He's bald, with a lumpy sort of skull, and his nose looks a bit squashed. The tops of his ears are pointed, but overall remain in a rounded, human shape. In a nutshell, Razelt doesn't look all that different from a fat, toothy little boulder. he's got sharp teeth and claws, and he's pretty funny to look at, yet has that 'he's so ugly, he's cute' sort of flare. Toddler: As a toddler, Razelt's looks certainly don't improve much. His canines have gotten even thicker, as well as the rest of his body. Razelt is basically short and stumpy, a thin layer of hair finally sprouting over his head. With his piggish nose and his bulbous, glaring little eyes, he looks like a fiercely grumpy little boy. His limbs appear to be too small for the rest of his body, and, for the most part, he'll need to be carried around, for even crawling proves to be too frustrating for him to manage. Child: Well, thank goodness, he doesn't look quite as ugly as a child! Razelt has grown like a weed, becoming tall and skinny and without much muscle. His hair, tangled and uncared for, comes to about his shoulders, and now taking on a bit more wave. It seems to be sprouting out of the back of his neck, too.. Somehow, he's gotten less ugly now too, his lips now able to fully cover his teeth, and his nose now fitting easily on his face. His nails, notably, have turned a dark, copper color and have hardened some, but are no longer than a regular human's. They are, granted, too hard to be cut by normal nail clippers alone... Teen: As a teen, Razelt grows even taller and gains a substational amount of muscle mass. His chest and shoulders broaden and thicken noticeably, giving him quite the appealing figure--for an ogre. Razelt's claws have grown as well, curving bluntly, but not sprouting any longer than half the length of his finger. His fangs have thickened and grown as well, so that if he pulls his lips back, he has a formidable arrangement of teeth to bare. His ears have become even more pointy, though are hidden by his hair, which has grown to just below his shoulder blades. His mane is beginning to grow fully in, running down his back and up his neck to the top of his head. It can bristle when he's feeling particularly aggressive. His jaw is broad and heavily defined, giving him a strong, rugged appearance. Razelt's eyes have become even more intense, but, having settled nicely into his skull, no longer appear to bulge--unless he gets angry. He looks incredibly strong, but, thanks to his height, his muscles don't look too unnatural on his build. Youth: He's more than half-way grown! Razelt, as a youth, has gotten even thicker, his powerful shoulders having to hunch slightly in order for him to stay comfortable. He'll find loping in this position, not unlike a gorilla, to be most comfortable. The claws on his hands have lengthened yet again, but they've widened this time, too. He's even sprouted similarly colored claws on his toes. Both his hands and his feet have grown massively--but are now in proportion with the rest of his tall, muscular body. His mane has thickened substantionally, and almost appears spiky. Adult: As an adult, Razelt has reached his full, imposing height and weight. He moves with a looming sort of power, his body hunched, his lips and jaw thickened in order to keep his fangs from being fully exposed. Even so, the tips jut out aggressively, his wild hair even longer and more frazzled, as has his mane. The pupils of his eyes have grown into bold circles, and everything about him suggests that he is a strong and savage being, from the tips of his broad claws to his flared nostrils. Pictures!: [X]Distinctive Marks: Thick, curving, dagger-like claws. Particularly large canine teeth that can jut out over his lips like a bulldog's. Nearly impenetrable, leathery skin, and incredibly broad shoulders/chest. Also, he has a sort of 'mane' of hair that not only grows out of his head, but the back of his neck and runs all the way down his spine. Muscular. A constant, savage expression on his face. Likes: Wrestling, eating, winning, acting like a hooligan, being good at things Hates: Magic, being tricked, death, complex problems/situations, losing, liars, Hobbies: Strengthening himself both physically and mentally (as far far as trying to get himself in the mind frame of a strong and able leader goes), reflecting on his qualities, attempting to learn new things (and often failing), socializing with his selected group,

Personality from baby to adult Baby: As a baby, Razelt is going to be nothing less than a nightmare. When he wants something, he wants it now. Razelt will scream himself hoarse if he has to, and if that doesn't work? Well, those blunt little fangs of his aren't just for show. He doesn't seem to understand his own strength, smashing toys and then appearing utterly bewildered when they've broken beyond repair. Razelt is fiercely protective of anything that he's deemed his--and he has a bad habit of forcibly taking things from others. He is aggressive and enjoys playing, more than a normal baby should. He hardly changes at all when he becomes a toddler--except he can run and wreck even more havoc if anyone takes their eye off him for a second. Child: As he matures into a child, Razelt will only become more vocal and fiercely impatient. His aggression will mount, and, as a result, he enjoys fierce tussles with anyone who would be willing to wrestle with him. He is easily frustrated when he has to do things that seem stupid to him, and still has the bad habit of resorting to physical violence when things don't go his way--such as hitting, biting, or clawing at people. At the same time, Razelt will be forced to learn how to gentle himself, and reluctantly learning to reign in that strength of his and be careful that he doesn't injure anyone. He's eager to learn new things--but often gets bored. Razelt will begin to bond with any children he happens to meet, unconsciously accepting them into his 'clan'. Teenager: Ahh, teenage years. Razelt hardly took notice of gender until now--he'll be overcome with an insationable urge to display himself, proving to the females just how big and powerful he is. Women are, in a sense, prizes. The more times an Ogre mates, the more status he holds, so Razelt will be all but gnawing at the bit to try and prove himself. Razelt will often be overcome with unexplainable rage, striking out and mauling anyone who happens to be in the way. It's as though he cannot control his temper, wishing to cause serious harm to anything that moves. Then, his rage will suddenly collapse, and Razelt will find that he is depressed, lonely, and sick of just about everything. He'll slink off to brood by himself, and reveals a quieter, more intellectual side for the first time. Razelt will often reflect on himself, trying to judge his character and his qualities as more of his past is revealed to him. It won't be unlikely for him to feel sick and ashamed--as well as fiercely protective of those he cares about. As a result, he begins to ask questions, challenging the leadership of others if they make a suggestion--as though he's never satisfied with the way things are run unless he is the one in charge. Youth: When Razelt matures into a youth, he will be constantly on the move--restless and edgy for no reason. While struggling to control his frayed temper, he has learned to at least give some warning before erupting into one of his infamous rages. He feels angry at what happened in the past, slipping into a state of denial, really. He doesn't want to be held responsible for his actions, and instead, will simply pretend as though he had nothing to do with any of it. He will also begin to become fiercely protective of those close to him, attempting to drive off those who he believes are out to steal his 'territory' and his clan members. Razelt will also be...well, in a sense, hoarding women. His past life demands that he needs plenty of females to mate with, and he won't be above hauling them off in order to 'persuade' them to join his makeshift clan. The clan is everything to him in this stage--he is the alpha male, and he believes that they rely on him for protection, though, if one of his members starts to act unruly, he won't think twice about smacking them into place. Ferocious rivalries with others will burst into full bloom, and Razelt will finally begin to decide who is worthy of being a true rival for him--someone he will need to watch out for and thwart whenever he can. His thoughts on his past failures may or not may not influence him, and Razelt will struggle with a choice: stay true to his hell-raising nature, or try to pursue his feeble past thoughts on peace. Who he befriends will play a big role in this. Sometimes, when it grows too much for him, Razelt will simply wander, unconsciously searching for the heartstone that called for him in the past--perhaps searching for answers as well. Adult: As an adult, Razelt's ferocious temper will finally seem to subside--to an extent. He is now a full-grown, aggressive Ogre male who will die fighting to protect his territory, and his clan. Getting close to him at this stage is all but impossible, because Razelt will not take lightly to accepting strangers into his clan. In a sense, Razelt is just as monstrous as he used to be in his past, though he struggles to at least keep himself from shedding blood. The influence of his 'mother', Nataki, will have somewhat gentled his disposition, and she is held quite dear to him. He'll have done his best to have as many of the female gender be as close to him as he can, if not having mated with some of them as well. But Razelt will no longer actively pursue women, though whether or not he has stopped seeing them as merely prizes is another story. Any enemies he has made will be regarded with contempt and leering insults--they will receive no love from him. But his past keeps him in check--Razelt will not seek to wage war against those he hates, though the urge is quite tempting. If angered, depending on who it is, Razelt will bristle and demand the other to apologize, or perhaps simply lash out without warning, though he has gotten better at containing his wild rampages. He is motivated by simple, raw emotions, though, unlike his Ogre self of the past, Razelt has learned that thinking things through is sometimes the best option, not heedlessly taking off without thinking how his actions might affect others. Granted, how often he listens to that knowledge is something to be debated.

History Information on Razelt's previous life: As the name of their species suggests, Razelt belonged to a tribe of Ogres that dwelled within a mighty crest of mountains, far away from human civilization. A savage and war-loving race, the Mountain Ogres constantly fought with other tribes in the area, pushing their boundaries as far as they could without suffering terrible losses. And to an Ogre, any loss was a terrible one. As the son of the Chieftain of his tribe, Razelt was expected to one day take over his father's position and lead the clan on to victory. Since he was a child, he had been taught the ways of war, his father's high hopes constantly pushing him to better himself in the name of their tribe. The society of the Ogre clan, though founded on strength, also relied on cunning in battle. Not every war was won by sheer ferocity alone. Despite their seemingly savage ways, the Ogres of this particular tribe had a strict moral code that they had established and followed without question. Razelt had been required to learn this code by heart, knowing very well the punishments for each law that was broken. No Ogre would ever kill another clansman, under penalty of banishment--a fate far worse than death. No Ogre would communicate with mankind and their slippery tongues. No Ogre would touch the dead. No Ogre would surrender themselves to the trickery of magic. And lastly, but most important of all, no Ogre would ever flee from battle with the enemy, even if the odds were against them. Because of this, it seemed almost destined that the clans would forever bare their claws at one another's throats. However, there was a way to cease the fighting between the tribes. Within these mountains existed a very rare, yet beautiful red stone, dubbed accurately as 'heartstone'. The fragments usually found were very small, and though captivating, held no worth to the Ogre people. But the legends spoke of a magnificent chunk of heartstone known as the Heart of the Clans. This stone was the guide for the departed spirits to the next world--something that was held in dear regard for all. The Ogres longed to be the one that stumbled across this sacred, priceless stone. It called to them deep within their bones, yet the search seemed fruitless. And so, the Ogres had learned to resist this call and continue on with their lives--yet were the stone to suddenly make itself known once more, perhaps the war-loving people of the Ogres could come together to live in peace. Yet, there were always those who sought only to improve their own self-interest... Many years had passed, and Razelt was no longer a youngling, but a strong, adolescent male, almost in his prime of life. He was young, reckless, but his father had taught him well. Razelt could feel the itching in his blood to seek out the Heart of the Clans, and found himself unable to deny the urge. Where, though? The mountains were by no means easy to venture, especially not with enemy tribes dwelling all around them. Razelt was determined however: if he could locate the Heart, then surely the tribes could end their pointless feuding--and he would be held in high regard by all! His father attempted to talk him out of it, but eventually knew it would do no good. It was a task that he himself had undertaken when he was young, though he made Razelt swear that he would be careful, and bade him good luck. Ogres are never supposed trust in luck for a reason. It is as likely to be bad as it is good. The hard-headed Razelt set out the next day after giving his quest a dismissive thought or two. Surely nothing could go wrong, so long as he was careful. Razelt stalked away from the familiarity of his tribe, and, careful to avoid contact with others of the surrounding clans, began his search. But, as he was young, foolish, and believed himself to be invincible, Razelt forgot one very important thing. Just because the other Ogres hadn't seen him didn't mean they hadn't smelled his presence. After a few days without a clue of where or exactly WHAT he was searching for, Razelt began to feel remorse for having left his clan so suddenly. Shame and bitter disappointment lingered on his soul for a moment, but, he decided, perhaps his father would understand the reason for his failure. Moving quickly, he soon returned to the dwellings of his tribe--and by that time, the stench of invaders and death had already choked the air. The mangled and mutilated bodies of his clan mates were sprawled mercilessly out in the sun, vultures already picking at their remains. Men, women, and children--none had been spared. None but Razelt, who's inexperience had provoked the other tribes to take revenge on the tribe who's member had invaded their lands. Not only had his people been slaughtered, but their bodies were crudely carved and mutilated beyond recognition--ensuring that their souls too would be twisted and mauled throughout the journey into the next world. Howling with grief and rage, Razelt ignored the law that forbid him to disturb the dead, desperately searching for the body of his father among the rest of the beheaded corpses. Unfortunately, the pillagers of the enemy tribes still lingered, and the sounds of the half-crazy Razelt drew their attention. Why, they stopped in horror when they saw the male hugging one of the mutilated bodies to his chest, unknowingly slathering himself in the blood and gore of his fallen father. Disgusted by the sight, the intruders moved quickly, even as Razelt detected their presence. Fury like he had never known roared open inside him, and the sole survivor of his tribe lunged forth in battle with nothing but his claws, and the pain that wracked his heart. But the odds were against him, for these were fully grown, battle-trained males. He hardly stood a chance. Razelt was slowly tortured to death, overburdened by the crushing weight of realization that it was his fault, his foolishness that had led to the death of his clan members...and finally, as claws tore open his chest and throat, his great heart simply collapsed upon itself. He was abandoned then, even as his cooling life blood continued to spill upon the slickened stone of the mountain. And the Heart of the Clans wept from the bloodshed, even as it drew Razelt's soul out of his body--the last to go of the once-mighty tribe. Yet the gore that had been slathered upon him, the last, mangled remains of the dead, prevented his soul from being able to escape into the next world. Razelt had broken the laws. He had touched the dead. And, in a sense, he had killed his clan. Razelt was to be cursed, and his soul was abandoned to roam the mountain until he could be given a second chance... The Guardian Name: Nataki Novalik Gender: Female Age: 28 Occupation: Librarian Physical Appearance: Small, scrawny, and generally quite meek-looking. Nataki is never seen without her pair of thick, black glasses or a book in hand. She cares very little for her appearance, explaining the frizzy blonde mess on her head and her lack of any real...well, clothing style. Nataki does have a thick black coat though that often accompanies her when it's cold outside. She has muddled brown eyes, and a flushed complexion, though lacks any real sort of tan from remaining inside all day. Personality: Nataki is a pathetically cowardly little woman. She prefers to be quiet and doesn't do so well with social interaction--but if things start getting weird, expect her to latch on to the nearest warm body. She's an honest woman, who, despite her fumbling and sometimes irritating lack of courage, has a good heart. She adores children, often because they're too young to judge her, though is quite certain she'll never have any of her own. Other: Having participated in the Meta Plot, Nataki sort of understands the oddity of what goes around in The Headquarters. However, other than that, she's quite terrified of the building, and has no idea about the wands, the reincarnation, so on and so forth. Relationship with Razelt: In truth, Nataki is going to have one hell of a time, trying to deal with a Mountain Ogre. She's a quiet, submissive person, while he is...not. (lol working on.) A GLORIOUS PICTURE: [X]
