Dislikes: Bright Lights, Loud nosies and streamed veggys.
Personility: Imani is a very calm and quiet baby that will usually only be loud in order to get Saturn's attension for some important reason. Her personility is some-what like Saturn's besides the lazyness.

Name: Saturn Gender: Female Age: 23 (Looks like 19) Race: Human/Shapeshifter Likes: Going for walking in the afternoon,Playing with her stuffed panther plushie and just being with Saturn. Dislikes: Bright Lights/colors, Loud nosies,streamed veggys and annoying people. Personility: Quiet,wise and somewhat of a loner,Saturn doesn't have a lot of friends due to the fact that she has often been betrays by others, she though that she could trust,many times in the past. If actually given the time to know her,one would find out that she is also a very calm person at times who enjoys hanging around those who are her friends,listening to music,reading books and conversating with those she finds actually worth her time. She can also be quite lazy,cocky and sarcastic at times and when it comes to be annoyed by others,the length of her temper varys from person to person.

10/1/06: Imani arrives via basket.
10/3/06: Imani's first smile and laugh.
10/8/06: Took Imani shopping and bought her new outfit.
10/12/06: Saturn loses her journal,but is too busy/tired to look for it.
10/27/06: Attended a Halloween Party with Imani for parents and their royals.
11/5/06: Imani learns to crawl completely.
11/25/06: Celebrated Thanksgiving with my family and signs of her trying to speak appeared.
12/11/06: Took Imani to the mall and got her ears pierced and she took it quite well,seeing as how she went to sleep about 30mins afterwards.
12/26/06: Celebrated my B-day by going on a little shopping spree.
6/25/07: Saturn finds her journal as a long day's search and returns to updating it from time to time.

Saturn: Her adopted mother,who actually became her guardian by winning a writing contest. Saturn is a very layed back person, who can sometimes be very lazy and selfish at times,but will do what she has to do when needed.

As a small clock stroke 10:00am, it's alarm insteadly turned on and awoke the teenage girl sleeping soundly next it. "Damn alarm,if only didn't have to work this weekend then I could really get some rest so that I wouldn't be so slugish as I've been lately." Saturn quickly hit the snooze button on the clock before rubbing her eyes and rosing slowly from her bed to head towards the bathroom to prepare herself for work. Once she was done showering,brushing her teeth and getting dressed,Saturn headed towards the kitchen to find a large blanket-covered basket on the counter. "What the heck is this?!" She sayed loudly as she examined the basket closely with her eyes. "OH!...this must be that prize I won with that writing contest. I'm guessing that the landlord must have bought it inside for me. Well it's that the nicest thing to do, I really must thank him when I get the chance." Saturn then notices a purple enevalope(sp?) addressed to her,atteched on the basket's side. "What do we have here." She then open the envalope(sp?) and reads the letter.
Dear, Ms.Saturn, I'm very have to inform you that you have won one of the prize from the Daily Gaia's Annual Writing contest which as you know this year's theme was 'Childen And How To Care For One'. Well your entry was so composed so well that we have decided to give you first prize,which is a child of your very own. The child's name is Imani,which means 'to have faith' in her native language. She is actually very special, seeing as how she is the last royal of a now destroy african kingdom,and no longer has anyone to care for her or guide her in the right path as she grows. So we would be very happy,if you were to care for this wonderful child.

A surpised expression quickly appeared on Saturn's face as she finished the letter and decided to reread several times in hope that she may have read it incorrectly. "This has got to some kind of sick joke by one of my friends or something because this just can't be." She then glances over at the strew basket and moves the blanket on top of it to reveal a dark-brown haired baby girl looking up at her with wide eyes. Saturn sighs silghtly as she reaches down and picks Imani up of the basket and into her arm. "Well I guess that this isn't a joke then." Imani reaches a small hand out and grabs a hold of Saturn's picky finger. Saturn then smirks slightly as she shakes her hand slightly. "Well it's very nice to meet you Imani. I'm Saturn and I guess that it's just me and you then."

Dear Journal,
The weirdest thing happened to me yesterday as I getting ready for work as usual. You know that writing contest I had entered a few days ago? Well the prize was a baby girl named Imani, yup like I sayed a real living,breathing baby and a baby of royalty at that. What even more interesting is that instead of returning her or even giving her away like I thought was best,I've decided to keep her and care for her own my own. Yeah I know that I'm not the most careing,sweet or greatest person in the world,but for some reason as I looked into her deep dark brown eyes I could bare to part with her. So I guess I'm a mother now...it's odd,as I look back at my life I could of sworn that I'd be alone but I guess I was wrong and the funny thing about it...is that I'm glad that I was. Well I must be going now, Imani must have just woken up for her afternoon feeding and If I don't get to her soon,she'll just keep getting later as I've learned so fair. lol

Dear Journal,
Well it's been a few days since Imani arrived here to live with me and I have to admit that it has been hard with the crying, constant attension and hourly feedings,but I'm still glad that I decided to have her stay. Even though it's been a bit tough there are still the same things that remind me just why I'm glad that she was that contest prize,such as her first smile, laugh and having someone to go places with like the mall. All of those things and more are just small reason why I'm glad to be her mom and her my daughter.

Dear Journal,
Yeah I know that It's been a while since I've lasted written but like you may already know,being a mom sure is a lot of work and very tiring so journal updating has been on my to-do list for a while besides trying to find you under all of the uncleaned or cleaned laundry. Anyways, alot has happened since my last entry like a Halloween party, Christmas party, my birthday day and a new year. Yet Imani still is the happy, healthy and fun fillied child that I recieved oh so many months ago. Well like I sayed being a mom is busy job,but someone has to do it or else nothing would get done. lol Anyhow, that means that I must go,but I'll try to write soon write soon.
