I do sometimes. If I do, I like more heavy metal, like Metallica, System of a Down, or Rammstien. How bout the rest of you?

Eh, Sometimes i would listen to rock (anything that's on the station basically), but only if i'd get a headache or just start to get sleepy from the songs they'd put in the games. stare [like FFVIII's songs]

XD I hear Metallica too!
Generally while i'm training and it gets a little monotne... also Rammstein (Feuer Frei!!!) or Slipknot... and the headache? i got used to it ^^

sometimes i listen to the game music, and sometimes i listen to.... metallica, disturbed, the union underground... dependant on my mood 3nodding

How bout the rest of you? same here, i'm a metalhead myself. but,while playing ff7, the heavy metal musici listen to does not fit very well, the in-game music fits the mood of the game or whatever or doing in world of FF...don't get me wrong. i listen my metal while i'm playing games like halo or some shooter.

Its kinda cool to re-play VII while listening to the Advent Children sound track.
sephiroth seems so much more intense when I hear the remix...never thought he could get cooler, BUT HE CAN!

I don't listen to my own music at times when I am progressing with the game. However when I am just fighting enemies to level up, listening to my music makes it seem less boring.

It depends on my mood and where i am at in the game. If i'm fighting a boss or a random field battle, i'll might listen to my music. Or just balance it out to where i can here the lyrics of a song and still hear the game music.

I never listen to music while playing the game. It takes all the fun out of it. The music goes along so well that it actually helps me.

I listen to basically anything I have an urge to listen to. Sometimes it's Linkin Park, sometimes My Chemical Romance or Rammstein, Three Days' Grace, AFI, or the like. I just spent all day playing Dirge of Cerberus while listening to My Chemical Romance: The Black Parade.
