i think it depends on how they're used but then again if they were being used for medical reasons wouldn't they be legal?...oh well, my side is no for the illegal stuffies. including all those download mp3 sites...but if anime was made illegal then i'd say yes for illegal stuff. 3nodding

I think it's hilairious pot is an illegal substance (living in the US here ^^'), but that's the only one I don't feel bad about, the rest of the illegal drugs are banned for good reasons.
Factoid: At the height of its popularity in the US, 4% of the population was addicted to COCAINE the majority being rural housewives

The only illegal substances I support are medicinal marijuana for ahlzheimers patients and industrial hemp for clothing. Other than that, I don't really care one way or another. ;D

Medical reasons and industrial hemp = yes
As for ice addicts and things like that i have no sympathy for them. They should have some common sense not to try it in the first place.
On another note though society has changed dramatically in the way it views drugs i mean think about "coca cola" was originally a medicinal drink which had cocaine in it. The owner changed the recipe because he realised people were getting addicted and drinking it more for its refreshing taste then for medical reasons. And he also atarted making it available for children etc etc through marketing. Anyways you look at society nowadays and cocaine is considered illegal.

Laws are based on current knowledge, at that time in history no one knew of any ill effects so they left it alone, it makes sense. Also the owner didn't change the recipe for that reason, there was a huge backlash in the public (mostly because "cocaine makes negroes rape white women"), they pressured the goverment to make companies put on its product labels that it contained the drug. That's the only reason any of the companies putting cocaine in their products stopped. In fact up till the 1990's cocaine was said to not be addictive!
