Azoc glowered as she walked next to the man magus who was scowling beside her, her claws held tight by the rubber bands that he had kept on. Altessa had mentioned hating him, and now she was beginning to see why, slowly and surely.
Like Altessa, Tiil had insisted on new clothes, but Azoc wanted absolutely nothing to do with it... just like Alt.

It was winter and the world was good. It was finally getting cool enough for Lian to wear a shirt without scowling (especially since the new caretaker had insisted he be a pretty, proper gentleman) and, in an attempt to get her new (forced) charge to relax a little, Dagger had sent him off with her hyper neice.
Cleo was in a good good - her skirt was full and floofy around her legs, she was eating a bag of sunflower seeds and they were buying Yuletide gifts! Oh! And she had a brand-new cousin (who didn't like to talk alot - Mam said he lost his own mammy and was upset. Understandable) with a thick fuzzy skin-coat she could latch onto.
"Lee-Lee, I wan'go into the candy s'ore!" Her voice chirruped through the air, making several people pause beside them, and Lian just sighed. 'Lee-Lee'. He was now a video game character... Although Dagger said being a video game character was more tangible then being a hero. Whatever. Xiao was behind him as usual, the only prescence in his life that hadn't changed.
She didn'tlike the people he was staying with now. The head girl she liked well enough but the shadowy, never fully formed frame of the one called 'Daemon' and the Drow prescence made the serpant bristle from time to time. She liked it that they seemed to take to Lian well, but her little furrball wasn't doing the same.
The dragonw as distracted when Lians head turned suddenly, catching a flash of blue. He knew her, she supposed. She wasn't expecting the wide grin to blossom over that mouth so suddenly and for him to haul Cleo over. The bird-girl squeaked.
"Azoc!"

Turning and stopping in her place, Azoc looked until she saw Lian, her own face lighting up as she ran from Tiil and towards Lian with renewed glee.
"Lian!" She cried, quite happy to see him. To hell with Tiil!

The panda dipped down to scoop the girl up. Her hands were heavy things and she wasn't areodynamically friendly, but it was AZOC and she was HERE and he SAW HER.
"How have you BEEN?" His voice was excited and warm, leaving Cleo standing their baffled. He was being nice to the new one but not to HER? What was wrong with her? "Were you put somewhere too? Are you ok?"
He was excited and so very pleased.

Azoc was HAPPY. Of course, that didn't account for Tiil, who quite rudely grabbed the lobster girl and pulled her away from Lian, giving him a scowl.
"Excuse me." Tiil muttered, getting a glare from the lobster girl. She hadn't even had a chance to talk to Lian, and here Tiil was ruining everything. Oh yes, she could indeed see exactly what Altessa was talking about.
"Let go." Azoc pouted, trying to struggle out of the man's grip, but was unsuccessful. Especially with the bands around her claws, she couldn't pinch her way out.

Lian jolted himself when Azoc was pulled out of his arms, lips pulling into a frown in return. "Hey! I was talking to her."
Xiao moved as quickly as she could after her boy, her lips peeling back in a high natured hissssss towards the older humanoid male. He was upsetting her Boy and he was treating the Blue One he liked so much like she was a sack of eatables.
Not acceptable.
Cleo, on the other hand, was studying Tiil and her eyes snapped open. "HEY!" Her finger pointed at him accusingly, face twisting up in a frown. "You're the a*****e who treats Altessa like she was dirt! Whyre you allowed ANOTHER kid?!"
The perfect speech made the panda pause (as well did the swearing; the bird was usually giggly and cheerful) but he frowned at the man. "You better not be being mean to Azoc."

Tiil stepped back at the dragon, then grimaced at Azoc. "Altessa is not mine. Nor did I want her." He deposited Azoc on the ground rather haphazardly, keeping a tight grip on her shoulders. "We are both currently shopping, and do not need any more interruptions." He glared at Cleo before moving on, shoving Azoc forward.
Azoc glanced back and gave Lian a rather deflated look, not in the position to argue; once Tiil had his mind set, he got what he wanted. Unless he was bribed, of course.

The shove didn't make Xiao any more pleased with the man. THe wrymling drew herself up to her full height, hissing again. She only allowed herself to stop when her Boy pulled her back down, his green eyes narrowed.
"No." Lian moved in front of the other man and litle Azoc, his ears laid back on his head. "I can take her shopping and we can meet you back here. Then you don't have to be bothered with her."
"Mam g've us moneh." The goldcrest echoed, edging up towards her cousin. Lians muscles were tight under his fur and she didn[t want him to attack. Nor, it seemed, did the six-legged serpant. Her head lowered, head tilting against Lians thigh.
Lians former mother had left him plenty but he wasn't going to mention that.

Halting in mid-step, Tiil turned just slightly, thinking for a moment that seemed too long. On one hand, he wouldn't get to pick out her clothes for her, or be a nitpicky nazi on what she could and couldn't wear. On the other hand, he'd be free of her for the rest of the afternoon, and could send Kanth to pick Azoc up.
He winced. Tiil much preferred the other hand.
"... very well." He finally spoke, lifting his hands from Azoc's shoulders and letting her go. He then moved aside, glacing over the three with disdain before flicking his robes and walking off in no particular direction.
Azoc stared a moment, before turning to Lian and wrapping her arms around him, hugging him tight. "Missed you."

"Missed you too." Lian murmured, hand moving to touch the lobster girls hair gently. Fingers moved to ruffle that hair happily and he gave Azoc a brief squeeze. "He's not very nice, is he?" A sigh left him but.. it was Azoc and she was here.
So he smiled again, fingers moving to peel the rubber bands off. "Dumb man." Xiao hissed in agreement, causing the grin to widen a little more. "Xiao agrees with me, I guess. But you're here with us now and everything's going to be okay, ok?"
Cleo was watching this all still, with wide, wide eyes. So the mean man had left and now there was the clingy blue girl. It was...discontorting, a little bit.

Smiling as the bands were removed, Azoc snapped her claws and stared inside them for a moment as she breathed out. "That feels a lot better. Hi!" She then stated, turning to Cleo and grinning, moving close for a pinch.
She liked to pinch.

Cleo gave her a huffing little glare as the girl moved closer, her claws tilted just slightly... "I smacked Altessa. I'll smack you too." Her voice was still girly and giggly despite it all and Lian dipped in close to haul her up, grinning down at the pinching one.
The goldcrest on his shoulder struggled, whining a bit, but she wasn't able to worm down. "No violence, you two. We're here to go shopping for clothes. Azoc, that guy was your new gaurdian? Cleo is my new gaurdians sisters daughter. She's D-Corp too."
Cleo pouted over his shoulder. Her face was stll marked from the bandersnatch - like heck was she going to let someone else marr her face! Or arms! Or anything!

"Maybe little pinch?" Snap, snap. Azoc moved closer, her grin spreading as she watched Lian pull the goldcrest up out of harm's way.
"He is, but I don't like him." A shrug as Azoc kept clacking her claws together, stretching them a bit. Getting used to no rubber bands was a bit nice.

"Neither do I. He looks like a jerk. He acts like a jerk." The panda agreed, nodding down at Azoc. The lobster girl got her claws batted away, a grin once again coating his lips. "How do you like to dress, Azoc? We said we'd get you clothes."
"I li'e socks." Cleo piped, still whining from her position.

"Anything you like." Came Azoc's answer, as she smiled happily at Lian, before glancing to Cleo. "Mebbe you should let her down."
Azoc glanced around, having to grin at her earlier antics, when she was here with Del. The scientists had found her, and brought her to Kanth's house, with Tiil... augh. She hoped at least she'd be able to stay there, though more than likely he'd be kicked out for not doing any work.
Oh well, that wasn't really her problem at the moment; she'd deal with it if she had to deal, and now wasn't the time to worry.
