Sighing, the tidy and polished teacher looked out of the frosty window of the doctors office. Since when had winter come so soon? Lately things for Madeline had been going...down hill. Being called in for shots today hadn't exactly helped that. Usually, things always went bad.
Picking up the floder D-corp had given her, Madeline patiently awaited for the next child to walk through the door.

"But I don't wanna, P'las!" came the protest that Nibal gave his father as they walked down the hallway to the office.
"You have to, Nibal. It won't hurt any." Peri sounded tired, as if this argument had been going on for some time (which it had). "Now, here's the room." He entered, tugging on Nibal's hand to drag the boy on in with him. Peri was wearing gloves like he'd taken to lately and Nibal was actually still covered with clothing (for the moment, at least).
The frog boy glared at Madeline, tugging his hand from his father to cross his arms. "Is it gonna hurt?" Apparently he wanted reassurance from someone other than his father.

Madeline, who was busy setting up injections turned her head as she listened to the pair come through the door. "Only if you wiggle around," she couldn't help but slightly laugh at that.
"Hello Nibal, I'm Madeline...and you," said the substitute looking back up at Peri, "Must be Mr.Coleman". Flicking black a blonde strand of curly Hair, Madeline extended her hand forth in a shake before.
"Just have a seat up onto the table--" she motioned with her head, before walking over to lock the door. Too many close calls lately. "So---" turning to actually have a good look at her patient Madeline frowned silghtly. Oh god...why could't it be something fluffy and begnine? "...I'll guess we'll get started then," the woman moved on not wanting to sound dishartening.
"Sleves up, pleaze." The teacher smiled as she snapped on a set of gloves and picked up the first injection.

Nibal frowned at the woman. "So it does hurt..." he muttered, climbing up onto the table as instructed.
Perilas rolled his eyes at his son, taking off a glove to shake the woman's hand. "Yes, I am. Though, you can just call me Peri." He smiled at the lady, then took a seat in one of the chairs.
Nibal started rolling up the sleeves to his turtleneck as Madeline instructed, though he'd rather not. But P'las would be mad at him if he didn't listen to the lady.

Brushing a strand of pale blonde hair from her eyes, Madeline tried to catch the little boys attention, "I promise I'll be nice...you know, if you don't think about them, you won't even feel it?"
"Like...Tell me about yourself Nibal--what's your favorite activity?" The little boy may have been poisonous, but at least he seemed rather beginning. Unlike all the other's she had had a run in with...her latest, Cody, still sent her twitching away like mad. That boy--oh the next time they met, he would certainly be learning some manners.
Now engaging the child in communication, Madeline leaned over and proceeded with the first shot, carefully of course...but with one down there were only three more to go.

Nibal wasn't sure if believed the woman or not, but her question made him think for a second. "Buildin'," he answered. "Though knockin' it down's more fun than buildin' it up. And crashin' cars." The boy tacked the last part on, for that was fun too.
Perilas relaxed. The woman obviously knew what she was doing and had gotten the boy's attention diverted and one shot was in. And she was smart enough to be wearing gloves...

"Really? " Madeline's eyes lit up slightly, "How fun--I didn't get to play with cars when I was little--" the teacher cooed and gave a slight laugh, "You've made me jealous. "
With that Madeline finished up the last of the shots, ah...getting to be a certified veteran at this, she was. Even if the job did make her a bit tough about the edges. Oh dear---she was loosing her manners. "Zhere, all finished." She gave a smile and pat to Nibal before helping the child off the table.
"Look, you even have a pretty band aid with cars all over it. 'An because you were so good..." Madeline reached in the front of her coat and pulled out a handful of lollipops. "--Does daddy want one too?" The blonde teacher smiled some as she looked up to Peri.

Nibal let slip a grin at the woman, before looking startled at the announcement of it being all done. He peered over at the band aid on his arm. "Cool!" Then he looked over to the sweets offered and picked out a blue one.
Peri chuckled at Nibal, then selected a random sucker for himself. "Thank you." He nudged the boy, who was busy with rolling his sleeves back down at that moment.
"Thank you!" Nibal chirped, then tore the wrapping off the lollipop and popped it into his mouth.
Peri just grinned and headed for the door with his son. "Good bye."
Niba waved. "Bye!" He managed around the sucker.
