 Well, may as well have a thread about it... People have been clamoring for a battle system on Gaia since the whole thing began, and now its been put on the horizon. What do you think? Are you excited, or could you care less? Will weapons ruin gaia? Let the discussion begin!

I don't think I would want to really battle anyone on gaia, yet it is intersting....actly I would like to fight my brother on it thow... xp

I guess it would be cool to kick my (IRL) sisters a** in cyberspace, but Im guessing you have to be online at the same time, and we use the same comp so I dont think it would work. If its not too expensive Ill just buy a weapon to say I have it. Im looking forward to fishing more then i am the fighting thing. sweatdrop What can I say?

I think it'll be awesome. But then again it depends on the format and procedure of the battle sequence. More importantly, what weapons will there be? I'm thinking they'll stick to swords, long arms, heavy blades, etc., but will there be magic? That would complicate things perhaps, but I think it would be extremely cool. But going back to the format of it all, I wonder if it will be in flash. If it was, that would be a problem for those with dial-up I think. The only reason I say that is because I have dial-up and it is a B@#$ for things to load. xd And my final thought is will the weapons be an item you can equip to the avi; If so, will we have to buy these weapons/items?

I'm definitely excited.. but I'm usually not brave enough to do video games unless they're turn-based RPG's. xp But, I think it will look awesome. Did anyone see the freaky hands for fishing/holding weaponry?
And I want magic. surprised

I think it will be great but Id like to see there be a setup that you cant where you weapon out side of the battle forums unless you pay for another licence. and have won ex amount of battles
