His paws padded quietly over the grass as he made his way toward the dragon's home and the home of his friend. The forest was starting to seem funny to him and he needed to know if the blue one had noticed it too. Aara spent more time there than he did so the other should have felt something.
He'd discovered how to get into the dragon's home thanks to having to help carry the little ones back once so he easily slipped into the cellar and up the stairs. Aara had to be in the house somewhere.
Walking though the house he sniffed out his friend hoping that the little girls weren't home to tackle him and distract him from his mission. "Aara..."

He was in the kitchen, sitting in front of the large, glass doors. Something earlier had caused his fur to bristle and he'd been on guard since then... There was something in the air; something that he didn't quite like even if he didn't know just what it was...

Slinking into the kitchen he walked under the table and stopped beside Aara. "Something's not right." Master of the obvious was at it again.
Sitting back on his haunches he stared out the glass doors toward the trees.

He nodded slowly, unable to tear his eyes from the winter wonderland scene before him. He'd seen snow before so this was nothing new... But it was something beyond that... Something with the way the trees moved.
"So I'm not the only one who noticed it..." That was a good thing. It meant he wasn't as loopy as the 'twins' often tried to convince him that he was.

"The forest is wrong." His tail swished around behind him for a moment before curling around his legs. Hopefully the girls weren't out in that, if Jhadia scared them again and they went running off it would not be easy to find them.

"I don't know what it is though..." His nose scrunched as he finally turned away from the window. "... But I intend to find out." He wasn't always the adventurous type. No, there were certainly some times when he'd rather sit and spin the tale but he'd realized that, without adventure, there were no tales to tell... This was something that he needed to do and, somehow, he knew it.

"Not going to find out sitting there." He leaned over and nudged Aara's shoulder with his nose. "That takes going out in the snow and exploring." Not that he was looking forward to going out in the cold again but he couldn't let Aara go out there by himself.

"Who said I was going to sit in here? ... You're it." He snorted as he nudged Kuro back before bolting towards the door to the basement. This might have been a serious matter but it didn't mean he couldn't get a one-up on his friend in the process.

He snorted and followed after Aara at a slower pace. He could easily catch up to him outside. Sliding though the cellar window he huffed in the cold. "Why must it always be when it's cold."
Fluffing his tail he shivered and looked for his friend.

He didn't mind the cold as much as he should have. His paws spread easily over the snow to keep him from sinking beneath it as he did last year, tail streaming out behind him as he darted into the woods. He could still feel whatever it was nagging at his senses but it had lessened... Almost as if their presence and aknowledgement was enough to alleiviate some of the troubles.

He really didn't like snow. He wasn't built to run around in it. So he cheated and used Aara's prints in the snow to help him move. He was tempted to grumble at the blue fluff ball but that would mean catching him first and he'd never catch him if he stopped to gripe.

He shivered as he came to a halt, wondering how it had just suddenly become cold enough for his breath to catch. He coughed softly, finding that his chest hurt when he tried to take in the next breath. It was far too cold... Colder than it had been closer to his home.
He shook his head slowly, turning his head back to make sure that Kuro was both following after him and alright. They would have to stick together now... No letting the other fall behind.

Shoving his way though the snow to Aara's side he huffed. "It got colder." Rather stupid thing to say since Aara had to have noticed that but he said it anyway.
"Don't like it." Shaking his head he let his eyes shift until he could see the soft colors around Aara's body and the occasional flash of color of a passing animal. "Doesn't feel right to be this cold."

"Isn't right to be this cold... We haven't gone that far, have we?" He snorted softly before trying to take another breath, stepping closer to Kuro before nodding his head to move onwards. "... This is real cold, isn't it?"

"It didn't seem like we had gone that far." He shook his head again as he continued though the snow. "I can't see magic so i couldn't tell if it was real or not but it feels real."
He couldn't think of anyone aside from that white one he'd seen once that could bend things to his will and making it cold seemed like something beneath him.
