I just got my first tattoo, and i plan to get more so i desided (with the help of lyon) to make little spot to post your designs and ideas heres a few of mine (not counting the one i got) hereyougo people

very nice tattoo's there Outlaw.. I don't yet have one of my own.. But I love to see (and occasionally draw my own ideas for) them.

Those tats make me want to play Okami. xp biggrin I like the first and third ones, second not so much. I'm not big on representational tattoos typically; I like the abstract and tribal types. I also change my mind and enjoy variety way too much for permanent tattoos. But henna on the other hand... mrgreen

im working on a design with a cowskull and eagal feathers for the back of my neck. as of yet i dont have any tatoos, but im planing on geting alot once im stable financialy. ive always realy wanted to. whee

let me guess, your a scorpio 3nodding hehe id go with the middle one on the sixth row myself. im making a tattoo design for myself sence im a gemini and it does show in me razz

 I have 5 tattoos and love them all.
They are all roses with black marking/lines/curves in the back. The first I picked out from a book and got it on my ankle. The rest I semi-designed. I find picture of roses and draw the black marks on the back and let the artist take it from there.
None of them has meaning but my 2nd tattoo does have a story.
I was literally stabbed in the back in 2004.. well right shoulder and it left a deeply ugly tattoo. For almost a year I never wore tank tops, go to the beach or wore anything that showed the hideousness of my back. Until I got a tattoo on the other side. It made me feel pretty, and have confidence to show of my back again.

I want to get an anklet sort of. I have the idea in my mind but can't seem to fashion it on paper yet. But I want a sort of charm bracelet look but have the links have my children's name in it or something...or maybe not not sure there, I want their names somewhere but I find simply tatooing letters on tacky so I want them embedded in the design somewhere. On the charm bracelet I want a dragon fly for my oldest and a bumble bee for my other child. I just have to get it drawn then get the guts to go get jabbed as I'm a needle phobic. But I want a design I can add to later...just in case I have more kids.

@Outlaw_Walker: I absolutely adore the first design. My brother is really into wolves and he would just love it too.
@Subliminal_misery: I like the ones on the end of the third and fifth row best. I love the tribal stuff, but some of the other's don't really look like scorpions.
I've got two tats myself, a dolphin swimming in a tribal design and an 8" seahorse (which is a cover-up of my first tattoo, which was a very badly drawn dragon). I've designed a lot of tattoos for my friends, and am planning my next one just now. It's going to be a tribalised celtic horse/dragon going down my arm, with a celtic arm band coming off from it. Once I've got it put together I'll post it.

@ Arianah - my i sugest that you use the design of one of those *add a charm* bracelets. you could have the bee and dragon fly and have a few of them for other things plus have spaces saves for anything else (other children or big events in your life)
@ Viridian Rose - he is welcome to use any of them, though if he wants i might be able to come up with something if you give me an idea. would take me awile though

dont have any myself, im way too wimpy for that, did try once got all settled, had the transfer on my shoulder..the second i heard the needle i screamed like a big girl and leaped out of the chair! the tatooist thought it was hilarious and pierced my ears for free for giving him a laugh!
i have designed tats for other people though some can be seen in the art arena, i'll post some others if any one wants to see them, not even sure if the AA ones would work as tats but i know some of my designs do because they are inked on my friends!

I've currently got one, it's a tribalistic butterfly with spiderwebbed wings between my shoulderblades...
Clickeh!
And I am working on saving up for my next piece, which is a stylized representation of my daughter's initials, 'KC' which will be going on the right side of my chest below and following the angle of my collar bone.
More Clicking!
I've got a couple more ideas for different pieces, but haven't the artistic ability to sketch them to my own satisfaction...
