Akuji knelt by the small stream, and washed his hands in the cold water turning it a light pink. In the shadows of ancient oak trees he surveyed his surrounds. It seemed so appropriate that he had ducked through this particular gate to get away. As he looked around him marble and slate monuments reached out of a low hanging fog. The darkness and silence were just as thick and heavy as the fog as he turned to walk out, but something caught his eye. A figure was moving through the fog. Without thinking, the Rabbit ducked into the shadows to hide.

Duality twitched, breathing in the cold night air. He was comtemplating killing his own staff yet at the same time wondered what the hell they were doing leaving him this far from his home. He made a note to himself to at least severly wound them and fire them. Walking along the broken path in front of him he noticed a large metal gate swung wide open. It seemd to lead to a abandoned and overgrown courtyard of some sort. Peering at the items around him he them realized where he was and he didnt particulary feel too happy about it. It wasnt that he feared death, it was more of a symbol to himself that he didnt like mentioning.
Hearing slight movements he then hissed, wondering what was going on. He extended his claws and ran them along the chains on his pants, making a small ring as each claw passed on it. He sniffed around and moved closer to what he considered to be a breathing shadow...........

Noticing the stranger approach Akuji stepped from the shadows into the dim and filtered moonlight. Wrapping his coat around himself, and trying to hide his face with his hood, he moved into the path of the moving form. “Pleasant night for a walk, isn’t it?” he asked in a fairly normal voice as he inched his had toward the hilt of the wickedly sharp dagger strapped to his forearm, and concealed by his sleeve. “But do you really think it wise to take a short cut like this alone on a winter night?” Slowly the rabbit took a step forward, but the fog was too thick to make out any detail about the stranger. Akuji couldn’t even tell if it was man or woman, human or anthro.

Duality watched ever closely as the object slipped from the shadows to in front of him. His eyes glared, still he was only really able to see a humanoid figure wrapped up in a hood of some sort. Hearing the voice he cracked the bones in his hands and then placed them in his pockets. He inched a little further to the figure and comtemplated what to do next. Killing the stranger would do no good. It would only get his clothes soiled with blood, something not good to have when you know you might be walking for another day or two. He grinned to himself, thinking about all the pretty shades of red this world brought him.
"A rather dreadful night for a walk. There is nothing amusing here, not even the joy of a few screams. What good is a cementary without nothing dreaful happening to someone else?"
He hissed very low, thinking the other was definitally up to something. Between hiding his face and holding his arms in that position it made his hair stand on end.
"Short.. cut? There is no such thing in my opinion. Or did you mean path wise? See thats is exceptionally easy unless your lost. Then a short cut wouldnt make much sence would it?"

Something was wrong with the silhouette, but it took a moment for the rabbit to place what it was. Wings, the man he was talking to had wings. This allowed him one bluff not normally open to him; it was always more fun when he was dealing with another anthro. Stepping closer still he let his hood fall away, and his coat to flap open. “There is nothing left here that will scream.” came the reply from the mouth less face. “if you were looking for entertainment you just missed it.” Slowly Akuji wiped a bit of blood from his sleeve and rubbed it between his thumb and forefinger. “And who says just because no one is screaming nothing dreadful is happening?”

Staring through the fog D decided if this man was a threat it wasnt likely he could do him any harm. He stretched and thought for a bit, letting himself change positions. He cracked his fingers once more and leapt half-heartidly at the strangler, making sure to come right behind him.
"If there is nothing left to scream then why are you still here? It must be no fun if you are hear all alone. Or perhaps you were waiting for someone to pass by. Someone there to pay repects to the dead only for you to let them greet the dead in the end? Come now.. you cant really expect to have all the fun dear sir..."
He shifted his stance and bent down, coming up to lick the blood off of the strangers hands.

“I’m still here because you found me as I was cleaning up. I found a man hurting little boys, so I decided it was only fair to take away his sward.” Stareing down at the man licking th blood from his hand Akuji could not help but be intrigued. He shifted his wrist so his sleeve would slide back revealing more of his bloodstained narcotic flesh, and a glimpse of bone in the pale moon light. “Most people refuse to shake my hand, much less get this close without even exchanging names. In the circles I run in this could be considered foreplay, sir.” The rabbit cocked his head to the side “If I’m not going to have all of the fun I must ask. What do you have in mind? Are we going to try to kill each other, someone else, or something a little more carnal, but just as bloody?”

D chuckled, it seems this person liked to make fun out of teaching someone a lesson. But... did he truely kill the man or just wound him enough to cause that much blood? Either way D was amused. He still was pondering what to do though.....
Watching the rabbit shift his sleeve down D became even more amused by this person. He stared at the bloodstained arm then licked further up the arm. He then straightened up once more and kept his smug grin on his face.
"Killing each other would terribly ruin my day. Killing something else requires effort and at the moment I am feeling a bit lazy. I prefer my fun easy to get with little or no work. Besides, a part of me is trying to stop myself from having fun. I need time to shut it up.

The rabbit chuckled softly before flicking his sleeve down over his arm. “Good, I was almost worried. If you had said we had to fight I would have been slightly upset; I think we have the potential to have a lot in common. If you had said we needed to kill someone else I would have had to try to fight you. If you kill someone who doesn’t deserve it you become a monster beyond redemption. But then again, what’s a little blood between friends?” The rabbit’s voice was far more solemn when he continued. “My name is Akuji, and everyone should do their best to make sure that voice inside us telling us to be better never shuts up.”

D's eyes gleamed in the pale moonlight. He stared ay Akuji, surprised at his wat of "getting to know someone". Testing someone with a inventation isnt what he was used to. Envisioning in his mind the options he had and the consiquines to them he felt trapped for a bit. It was indeed either fight or try to get along with this person until he had a shot to leave the area. What fun.
He tapped his foot then bowed, curling his arm upward as a gesture. "My name is Duality. Call me that and you die. Just call me D." Straightening up he then stretched and sat down on a nearby rusted, metal bench.
"My ovoice in my head is annoying though. Why would I ever choose to listen to it by my oen will? It just wants out time, it wont happen"

“The little voice in the back of our head is what keeps us resembling sane.” The rabbit answered before offering a fairly tight bow from the waist. Straightening he took a step back. “Are you here to enjoy the ambiance?” He asked gesturing at their surrounds “Or were you being serious when you said you were lost. I could offer you a ride.” Turning back to the path he continued. “I know this sight quite well. I could at least walk with you through this wondering property of death, D.” The rabbit gave a gallic shrug. It really is up to you how this encounter progresses.

D laughed, coldly but a laugh nonetheless. He scraped the side of the rusty bench, creating a loud ear raking noise. "The voice in my head isnt my consious sir, it is another part of me I dont associate well. It hates the sight of blood and the screams that make me quiver in happiness. He would rather avoid such things on this earth and hide in the comfyness of what he thinks is a "normal life"
He thought for a moment, finally stabbing what was bothering him back into his head. He wasnt scraping his claws against the bence anymore. He was currently picking the rusted paint from his nails instead.
"Ambiance? Bah... I am not lost nor am I here by choice. I.. had issues with some hired help actually. So I am hoping to get back home and punish them for daring to do what they did. Either that or just "accidently" find a way to make their lives miserable."
He looked towards the exit and twitched. Having company on the way home wasnt his idea of fun. Still... it might make the walk back less boring for him. And they could always stop somewhere on the way.. and Akuji could be ditched he assumed. Finally making up his mind D stood up once more.
"It is a long walk... are you are you are up for it?"

Akuji slipped his hood back onto his head. “I am ready for anything, sir.” He turned slightly and started toward the gate. “Please lead sir, I obviously have no idea where I’m going.” Waiting for D to take the lead the rabbit continued to speak. “I hope you forgive the horrible joke, but is it really so hard to find good help these days? If you are having problems with your staff isn’t there a fine line with what you can get away with and what you simply can not?” “ Oh, and if you keep doing that to your nails you get a nasty break ” The rabbit chuckled out.

D blinked and stared at Akuji apon hearing him. Shrugginh his shoulder he then smiled half-heartidly. "My staff was good and fine until they saw my other half reveil himself. Perhaps I dont need good help, I need a nicer voice inside my head..."
Figuring out who you are talking to is hard when both happen to have common traits. Still..the side most normal people liked got more face time. For people to say multiple personalities is merely a disease that may have a cure... they havent met D. D's other half isnt really a made up voice, its another entity that shares a soul with its other half.
He walked on out of the cementary, keeping a steady pace of walking. He stayed to the right of his new travel partner, staring down the long length of the broken path before them.
"My "claws" are very sharp sir, they wont be broken to easily either. I am sorry if you find myself too.. weird to keep track of. Not many people stay near me to tell the truth."
