A'nala, jumped quickly onto the higher rocks, for a view of the forest. Nearly in the trees now, she looked upon a quaint spot, one of her new favorite spots actually -- A small like clearing with a cave, she imagined to hold her food in or something and use it as a den, and a small field, partially filled with flowers with a running stream that led to a waterfall a few miles off. Entertaining thoughts of Xanthus, a lion she recently met, she sighed. She shook her heads to clear her thought before jumping down, from the rocks. Walking gently, she took a sip from the stream, to quench her sudden thirst.

-Tego was in a mood today, his usually sleek and relaxed body tense and knoted in anger and frusteration. Perhaps he'd just woken up on the wrong side of the branch this morning.. Perhaps it was the lingering dreams that'd tormented him the night before. Or maybe he was even still sulking from his thwarted plan to pester Hivu. But whatever it was, he was seething, his head snapping with a mean scowl to ever stray noise that touched his ears.
He wanted to hurt something.. anything really. Why was it that things were seeming to fall apart so much these days. Why was it that things had slipped past his mask and begun to shake his calm life. Huffing unpleasantly he tromped through the underbrush, making quite a ruckus in the process.-

A'nala, lifted her head, as she heard someone .. stomping thoughout the forest. ".. Whats with them?" A'nala asked annoyed now. Most creatures would've went through quietly to avoid danger. And it seemed the noise was getting closer and closer to where she stood.
She decided to wait quietly for whatever was coming and give it a good lecture. "Hmph." She said outloud. There was no harm in her for waiting, she was a lion. Stronger than many animals in the forest, she lifted her paw up and flexed it. Oh her day, was going downhill already, as her green eyes scanned her surroudnings for any sign of movement.

-He was the self proclaimed 'king' of the area, well aware of the many landmarks that made up the section of the jungle that he normally perused. He'd been here since his cub days, drawn by the seclusion, so it was not any sound that turned his path towards the stream. But instead the recalled knowledge of it being there.
His tongue was growing dry, and THAT irritated him too. Perhaps he'd stop for a drink... perhaps even maul some poor little fish for a meal. Ebony and ivory tail flicking softly he began towards the stream, a dowry look staining his maw.-

A'nala, before waiting too long saw the creature that had disturbed the forest coming through. "A Leopard?" She said in surprise. Leopards were only a mere stepping son below lions but yes they were also something not to be taken lightly. A'nala kept this in mind as she stared at the leopard. "You've been stomping and who in god's sake knows what, and practically ruined everyones peace. I doubt there's any reason to take your own fustration out on anybody else!" A'nala gestured indignantly to their surroundings which ha grown even more quiet.

-His eyes had only just caught sight of the softly yellow lioness when her voice cut through the air, causing his muscles to tense up even more. Sure lions were bigger, but this was a girl. And how DARE she try to scold him when she was trespassing on HIS land!? Who did she think she was?
Scowl growing across his face, Tego slunk out of the underbrush, seemingly unbothered by the fact that the lioness towered over his own small and muscular body.- "Me stomping around isn't nearly as henious as a stupid twit who thinks she knows everything and everyone."
-Lifting his body gently, losing the aggresive stance for a moment he piped up with a taunt.- "What makes you think you can just boss everyone around, girl?"

"If you feel you have that impression of me, 'stupid twit who thinks she knows everything and everyone', I daresay that you have the right to your own opinion, but that was clearly not the message I wanted to give off." A'nala said frowning at this leopard. What was his problem?
She returned his scowl with a dark look. "I believe.. I have the right when you involve anything other than yourself in your own fustration." Her voice was soft, but her eyes show she was stubborn. She jerkd her body away from the hostile leopard. "Refrain from getting close to me if you will. I hate your type of males."

-Blah blah blah He listened to her words half-heartedly. It seemed that he always attracted the fiery sorts, and though he liked that, today it was grating on his already bad mood.
However his interest quickly perked with her request, and a nasty smirk crossed his maw. Goodness, goodness, giving up hints and fears so easily? She'd certainly be an easy one to torment.
Letting all other words pass by him, he stepped forward a few steps, bracing the distance between them nearly in half, as he called out teasingly.- "My type huh? A speciest are we? Tsk tsk. Shouldn't play in the jungle if you don't want to deal with the wildlife that lives there."

A'nala felt something recoil in her stomach as the smirk crossed over the leopard (He is a leopard, right? XD) and his tone of voice changed. Taking precautions, she kept her face and tone guarded.
She decided to stand her ground, as he got closer. Maybe his change was due to an misunderstanding of fear between them? Well, she certainly didnt fear him. Why should she? Although she felt something .. bad was going to heppen if she stayed here. "Hardly your species. The rest of your species is probably fine. Maybe its with your personality? The male over-egotistic, concieted, thinking-of-nothing-but-himself type?" She retorted to the leopard. "and dont treat me as a kid. I'm perfectly an adult and can handle any wildlife" She put an emphasis on wildlife to show that she didnt think of him as any sort of wildlife, but more of.. an annoyance. "that comes my way, if I wish to." She finished up.
"Now if I'll take my leave, as your being so courteous." Her voice dripping with sarcasm, She started to walk away.

-Unfortunately for her, whenever Tego got his mind set on one person, he was stuck to them like glue. Until either they bested him, or he won over and dominated the creature into submission.- "Probably?" -He chided, a simple statement of amusement trying to imply that after all her wordy rightousness, she didn't even know enough leopards to make that assumption.
But he didn't push that thought any further, instead picking up his steps as she began to move away. And he slunk along after, going just fast enough to barely creep up, until he was only a body's length away from her.- "Can you now? I hardly believe it really. What are you even doing in these jungles Missy?"
"Probably hiding from some guy. Or maybe even out hunting for one since you seem so vocal about 'your type'."

"Of course, probably. I cant make assumptions for the rest of the leopard species based on you, can I?" She raised her eyebrows. She didnt like his amusement now, supposely because she was his source.
She felt uneasy. This leopard wasnt letting her go now. She shifted uncomfortably. You dont have to be scared of him. Chances are, he wont do anything to you. She lectured herself before turning to answer him, putting on a facade, that his closeness didnt bother her a bit.
"Believe what you want." She shrugged. "And for your information, you dont need to pry into someone else's buisness why their here. After all, your not the king of it, now are you?" She asked skeptically.

-He simply grinned, an unpleasantly kind seemingly one, and he traveled along only a step or so behind as if he were some friend of hers tagging along. Not the beast that was gently poking at her comfort, taunting and teasing her with his words. Ohhh she'd break. If he had his way.
And he answered simply.- "The land does not only belong to kings, but also those who live on it my dear. And I have lived here for quite the while. Some would even say you were trespassing you know."

"Quit following me! Its pathetic. DOnt you have your own things to do?" Anala asked, quited irritated by now. "Or do you have nothing better than to follow some lioness around?"
"My dear? Dont address me in.. that way." Her teeth was seething. "You have no right to!" She exclaimed before giving him a sour look. "I would stop tresspassing if a certain leopard would leave me alone so I can leave your disgusting company!.. and your land." She rolled her eyes as she added the last part in.

"Grumpy, grumpy. No wonder you're needing to hunt out men." -He chided, ignoring her exclaimation and yell with a cold and steely front he'd got so good at casting. Inside he was gleeing however, proud and pleased over this show. Over how much of an effect he was having with his twists and taunts.-
"Disgusting?" -His ears twitched softly with the words, a mean smirk curling to his lips as the idea hit him.- "Perhaps you'd prefer the name Tramp then? If not "my dear"." -Pressing his shoulder against her lower hind leg in mock affection, he purred.- "Is that a more fitting name?"

"Grumpy? I wonder what the reason is?" She said staring directly at Tego. "And I dont need to hunt out men. Some men are /perfectly/ fine, but apparently, you dont go in that category, do you?" She said mockingly to him, her tone of voice, showing exactly what category she would place him in.
Anala saw the meaning of the smirk as she slowly backed away. "I am not a tramp...!" She hissed. "Tramps , for your infomation, ... spread their favors to more than several lions. Do you see me doing that? Absolutely not." She snapped at him. "So it is not in any way, fitting, as gentleman is fitting to you."
At the further contact between their bodies, she turned around swiftly, and slapped her paw to his face. "Dont touch me, filth." Her jade eyes alight with sparks of anger.
