Had it been anyone other than Sin requesting in such a way, or even requesting such a thing in general, Kallik would move his hand to their head and tend to their hair with a rub-down. But because it was Sin, he nodded his head in agreement and rested his head on the hand he had used to pet the other male.

"Sure, sure." he agreed.

The fox anthro's eyes closed tiredly.

Sins smirk returned at the boys answe, good, he half expected to have to grab the boys wrist to avoid being touched again. "you look tired, do you need a place to stay" he asked calmly, sure there were other apartments in the building he lived in, but there was also pleanty of room on his floor, on the couch,in his bed...

I'll reply after this post...

"... How pleasant of you to ask..." he muttered, a tint of sarcasm evident in the vocalization. "Do I look like a bum to you?" Kallikrates knew that he shouldn't take such a inquiry offensively, Sin probably meant nothing harmful when he spoke the words. But growing up on the streets when young, the fox male had to admit... he was a bit sensitive when it came to such a subject.

He sighed in quietly, shaking his head. "Sorry, sorry." the male whispered. "No... I'm not in need of a place. I have a home with a few other anthros."

He used to live with Nyklum's mother when she picked him up off the streets... oh say, a year ago? And now he was the rabbit male's personal assistant. Nyklum's mother was a model, as was Nyklum... Kallikrates just happened to run into the mother and she thought he looked... beautiful... handsome...? Bah, he didn't recall what she had said... she just simply took him home, then after so long of staying with her, she sent him away to take care of her adopted son.

It was a confusing life, really.

Sin raised an eyebrow at how defensivly he had reacted "alright, though if you want a place of your own the apartments have open rooms" he said calmly to the boy. This was so wierd for Sin, he was acting so..... tame, when he was anything but that.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine where I am... have a reason to be there..." he replied, waving a hand lazily towards Sin. "So don't worry about it."

The male sighed in deeply. Goddesses, he hated having to explain anything to anyone, so he just discontinued saying anything else worth listening to. The male simply sighed, tail curving gently behind him into the shape of a cute little loop.

Sin shrugged "alright" he said simply, he began fidgiting, he wasnt one to sit still and talk like this, especially when the other didn't tend to talk all to much, Sin on the other hand was a conversationalist. He turned his crimson eyes on Kallik's own. "what do you think of us having the same eyes" he asked calmly

"I examined that over myself. Found it interesting... then decided it probably wasn't that uncommon. I have a crimson-eyed bunny, and a crimson-eyed wolf living in the same household as me." he shrugged his shoulders gently. "Though this is the first time I've met someone out of my sort of 'family' that has crimson eyes. Congrats."

He offered a playful grin after a short moment.

Sin laughed softly "your the first i've met with crimson eyes like my own, the only other oddly colored eyes i've seen were Nikki's his are duel colored, one outline in black the other silver and both have a purple center"

"... Interesting." he commented quietly, tapping clawed fingers against anything that would make a noise. He grinned as he placed his nails against some wood again and again, making a small tune. The male then discontinued his action, passing Sin a rather uninterested glance.

"So you've had a hard life, but you have friends?" he inquired rather stupidly... he supposed he was the same way, after all, Nyklum... Jamie...

Ah, wait... had he said something earlier about his darling family? Oh dear lordy, this stunk. Like a skunk made a small house smell. Bah, crap.

Sin shrugged "I wouldnt call them friends, I live in the same complex as a few anthros and the only person i've given one of my rings to here was Rick, but I doubt i'll ever see him again" he said calmly, he dug around in his pocket and pulled out a silver ring and began playing ith it.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 28, 2006 2:43 pm

... Rick...?

Kallikrates raised a slender brow. Interesting... a lover perhaps...? Or maybe not -- he didn't know... he wasn't a mind-reader. What he did know was that people should not talk to him about such things, or he would get onto a dicussion his father once used on him. Plus he would assume... and assumptions being wrong, once again, made him completely irritated.

Debates were a pain in the a** -- though normally Kallik persuaded people towards his opinion, his father was the only one that had ever really gotten to him before. Never once paid attention to his son's ideas.

God... this was annoying as hell.

Finally, he decided to ask. "Rick...? If you wanna see him again why not go find him...?" the male's inquiry was actually intelligent, or at least he thought it was... then, Kallik always thought he was intelligent... unless...

... Goddesses. Thinking sucked a**.

Sin looked up and shrugged, a defiant gleam came to his eyes for a moment "because I don't want to see him again" he said looking back at the ring in his hand. He laid the ring down on the table next to Kallik and rested his chin on the back of the chair watching it intently. He really didnt want to see Rick again, he had pulled the boy out of a tree and he was a pain in the *ss, he didnt need the agrivation, he would find someone to be around who wasnt the type to lead someone on. Sin had made the mistake once and he wasnt going to make it again, making it once made him stronger.
PostPosted: Fri Dec 29, 2006 11:01 pm

Kallikrates had given Sin a questioning look when the ring was placed on the table. "... What the butt...? You don't want to see someone who you gave something to...? My apologies for pointing this out, but once you give a piece of jewelry to someone, aren't they pretty much connected to your brain until you take the thing back?"

He really wasn't an expert on these sorts of things... Kallik pretty much winged it. Love and affection wasn't his strong point... for all he knew, he could be getting this speech he was preaching out of some book. "... Look, if you don't want anything to do with this 'Rick' anymore, don't you think you should get your ring back...?"

Then again, this was not Kallik's affair. "... Nevermind." he whispered. "Forget I've said anything."

He hated prying into other individual's lives... it gave him a murderous headache, and really... he could use anything but a butcherknife stabbing into the back of his skull and through his brain at this moment of which he was living in time.

"..." He ignored the factor that he had just spoken, finding that fact that he even tried to do something disgusting. Kallikrates already seemed to have grown unfond of Sin...

He hated doing stuff for anyone but Nyklum, and he was hired to do tasks for Nyklum by the rabbit's modeling mother... therefore, he had a reason to do things for the rodent anthro, but this one he had no cause... so he decided to stop trying in the middle of reasoning.

Sin shrugged "he can keep the ring, I have many like it, it will prove he has a connection to me" the bear looked a bit blank now, he could tell Kallik wasnt to fond of the situation. The boy took the ring from the table and shoved it back into his pocket "everyone has a different point of view on jewlery, its not that important to me" he held up his hand which was dawned in an assortment of golden items. He shrugged once more and lowered his hand and looked back to Kallik.

"... Sure." Kallik narrowed his eyes in slight thought before rising to his feet. "Well, whatever the case... I should be heading--"

"Home?" Jamie stood at the threshold of the door, raising a slender brow at Kallik before offering an amused grin at hearing some of the conversation held between the bear and the fox before him. Keys to an automobile outside jingled in his slender fingers.

"... And just when did you get here...?" Kallikrates cackled, scratching at his ear in pure embarassment, something he really did not experience often.

"Somewhere between 'Rick' and 'different views' actually..."

"Ah, and did you enjoy the conversation?"

"Yes, quite amusing..." the rabbit stared at Sin for a moment, crimson eyes seeming annoyed at the factor that he had managed to irritate Kallikrates... though the white-haired anthro did have to admit to himself -- he could, too, pull off maddening the... canine-like anthro. But because he was the one who was in charge of the house that so many anthro's lived in, he was never really disliked... though he wasn't completely sure whether or not that was the exact reason. No one that lived in that household disliked Jay -- except for perhaps Eridanus, but then... the two had never gotten along... even in childhood. Jamie had always been a brat, plus a bit stuck-up... or... maybe really stuck-up, and Eridanus had always been an alcohol-addicted dumb-a**.

Ah, but things that never changed were so boring... and Jamie hated being boring.

"... I'll be on my way in a moment?" he had put the information in an inquiry format, hoping that Jay would agree to the matter of him staying a little moment longer.

"That's fine... I can wait. But take no more than five minutes." and the rabbit disappeared into the chilling night air, footsteps dragging themselves towards his expensive car.

"... Did you see...?" Kallikrates snickered gently. "He has the same colored eyes as us...? I suppose we aren't so alike afterall..." he turned red orbs back to examine Sin's features for a moment, but did not await a response as he left the area just as Jamie had.

Sin raised an eyebrow "never said we were, though just because someone has the same eyes as ours dosnt change that ours are the same" he said flatly before standing up slowly and heading towords the back door of the shop.
