{Post 1000!} Long, long ago, before the children of men had even begun their long trek into existence, there gathered together a group of elementals...The rulers of earth - Four kings, of the fire, rock, metal, and lightning elements, and four queens, of the water, nature, wind and earth elements. They met on neutral ground, the only place on Earth where all four elements combined. They met to dicuss the high death-rates among their collective people. I blame those of of water, said the Fire King. Those witches have ever tempted our men to watery graves. No, I believe the tricksters of the lightning clan have been killing the others. The Water Queen shook her icy head. Snaking their attacks down, shocking my girls!T'was not us, I say! Maybe those sneaky little earth girls. Throwing up rocks into the paths of my men, breaking them apart... The lightning king sighed. The argument went on for many days, until finally the delegates grew angry. One of the kings attacked on of the queens, and from there the battle escalated. A single sparrow, listening in on their talk, flew back to his brethren with wide, frightened eyes. Ever the peacemakers, all the animals, members each of a different element, banded together. Despite their differences, they knew that this Elemental war might tear apart their world. And so they marched, as one, to the Great Battleground, where in four days time the war of Ages would commence.

The Elemental War Are you ready for the greatest battle of all time? Choose your race, be you warrior or peacemaker, elemental or animal. Remember, once you choose a race, you must only type in the color of said race. Earth/Sand (Orange) Rock (Brown) Nature/Plants (Green) Wind (Olive) Lightning (Yellow) Water (Blue) Fire (Red) Metal (Dark Red) Animal (Black, Indigo, or Violet) RULES NO Godmoding. NO killing one another without permission from me and your opponent. NO switching races until we reach Chapter Two. (I'll explain when we get there.) LIMIT one race-specific power each. (Such as: Fire Elemental - Fireball OR Flame Sword OR Falming Rain, etc.) WEAPONS must be paid for. (See next post for weapon rules, list, and prices.) DO have fun, and try not to make to much out of this. It's Gaia, remember?

WEAPONS RULES - To use a weapon, you must choose one, PM either me, Kamiss, or Scae to apply for one, then when we accept, donate the price to me, Kamiss, Scae, or the guild. - Limit two weapons. You can trade in weapons to use other, as long as the traded weapon's price equals that of the new one. (You can add gold to the weapon, if your new choice is more expensive, or get gold back if it's cheaper. - For descriptions of weapons, PM me or Scae. BIOS:Chobah Character Name: Lune Liniore Race: Animal - Griffiness Picture:  Power: None Weapon: Claws and Beak Bio: A lonely griffiness with four cubs, Lune was raised in the wastlands, and knows how to survive in the wild. She is a tough fighter, as she's had to protect her cubs all on her own from their birth. Their father, a proud griffin, was killed by a rampaging dragon. Lune would do anything to protect her children, and will fight to the death if it means they stay safe. A member or the Peacekeepers, she is one of the few who know how much fighting will be necessary to get the elementals to succomb to sense. Kamiss Character Name: Kosimo Race: Were-Liger (Lion/tiger that walks upright) Picture:  Power: Able to jump 6x higher than the world's strongest human Weapon: Claws, teeth, double-bladed sword, unlimited bows+arrows (Once bought) Bio: A liger once exiled from his clan for going into forbidden woods, though it was to rescue his cub, who had been taken by a gi-falcon (giant falcon). The cub's mother was long gone, killed by the same gi-falcon. He slayed the falcon, taking it's talons home with him in his mouth, along with his cub. Upon his exile, Kosimo gave one claw from the talon to his son, and took the rest with him. His son could not follow; it was prohibited by the clan. Kosimo wandered the plains, dying of lack of prey, and heard the clash of the elementals. Their voices somehow gave him stamina, and he found he had new strengths in the form of jumping higher, running faster, and most importantly, standing upright. His desire is to fight, to prove to his clan he is worthy to see his cub once more.

Either way, all the creatures of earth are sonverging on one mountain, in South America. Not e specific place, really, but I needed a general gathering point. So you may start absolutely anywhere in the known world. Ew, only where we know of? Lame, I know, but it helps. You're on your way to SA, to the Elementals' Keep, so just start out in that direction from wherever you are. Or, if you want, I can start. If you start, I'll join you @ your location in a few posts, so you won't be lonely. Just remember, only type in Black, Indigo, or Violet, K?)

(Ok, I'm a Warrior. Black, of course.)
Kosim ran full-out, heading west. He knew not what drew him from the jungles of Africa, but he ran, not slowing, barely aware of the pain in his lungs. He dropped to all fours and broke from the treeline, only to stop and yowl angrily at the sky. Kosim knew it would happen, but he had denied it. He needed to go west. He knew that.
The problem was that to do so, he'd need to cross the Vast Blue.
Only nobody had ever crossed it.
It never ended.

Lune trained her clever eyes on her cubs, soaring ahead of and below her. They were young yet, not wise in the ways of the world, but she had no one to take care of them, so they flew with her to battle. As a Peacekeeper, Lune would depend more on her intellect, instead of fighting, to win. But she would do whatever was necessary to keep her children safe. Far below them - stretched from horizon to horizon - a sea of trees. Bright flashes of color, birds of every shape and size, burst from the trees every instant. More Warriors. They flew as she did, heading south, to war.

Kosim smashed his claws into the tree again, and again. The tree started to topple. He continued to break it, for once it fell, he would use it to cross the Great Blue. It was a great risk, he knew, but would cause him less pain than losing his chance of seeing his cub again. Kosimo raised his claw and struck.

Only a few miles farther, Lune thought, and we'll stop for a rest. She didn't need one, but her children certainly did. Already their wings drooped, and they were gradually slipping from the air current. She spied a clearing in the trees about a mile and a half ahead of them, and signalled with a low cry that they would land. Using the last of her energy, Lune's daughter Rea performed a small backflip in the air, then plummeted. A normal mother would have feared, but Lune just watched Rea and her other cubs land softly in the grass, as she had known they would. She landed about a hundred feet away, in the brush, claws coming down squarely on a pair of rabbits hiding there. She may be on the side of the Animals, but they still had to eat. After their meal, the children fell asleep, nestled under their mother's wing. Lune drifted too, only to be startled awake minutes later by the resounding crash of a fallen tree.

Kosim roared as he dragged the tree along the sandbank, tugging with his unearthly claws dug deep into the wood. He let go and oved to the back, starting to push it as he neared the water. He would have to overcome the slight fear he had of water. He wasn't as afraid as most other felines, and he took it to be from his tiger blood, but the lion blood countered this somewhat. Besides, no way Kosim could BEGIN to swim the Great Blue. He wasn't stupid. No, he would ahve to float, and pray to the Wind Gods to not upset the water.
