Ugh, my dog is 15 and recently in the past few days we can see shes gonna go soon. so were putting her down. my mum doesnt want to be the one there whille they do it, so itll probably be me. it really sucks. i dont want to cry, so im forcing my self not to. i mean ive had this dog as long as i can remember, shes as old as me! the sad part for me is i cant remember when she was able to run or anything, ijust remember this past year. her cancer is spreading up in her legs and she has tumors in her lungs. im just selfish but its not fair. she was such a sweet happy dog. meh. have any of you had to deal with this? i dont know, ive never had a pet(besides fish) die. ugh.i jsut want to say ******** this and spererate myself from anything dealing with her, but sehs so. -sigh-

I've had two dogs die, so I know how you feel. Our first one, Chelsea, was with us for about thirteen years; she had cancer, too. I wasn't there when they put her down.
Last summer, we got another dog named Zeke. There was something wrong with him when we got him but we didn't know how serious it was. I remember waking up on the fourth day that we had him and helping carry him out to the car because he'd collapsed on the floor. That was one of the hardest things I've ever done because that dog was nearly screaming in pain.
But yeah, I know how it is. Take things at your own pace, and cry if you feel like it.

Take things at your own pace, and cry if you feel like it. something like what happened to Zeke happened to my friends scottie. though, her dad didnt take him to the vet to be put down, he did it himself...i guess it wouldve been to hard to let the littlest kid know that the dog was really sick and was going to be put down at the vet... its going to be hard to take this at my own pace, because i dont deal well with sad things, i dont know how to cope anymore so i just ignore it. 0.o i dont like public displays of emotion, im just really agianst people seeing me cry.

I had a dog that I had to put down. My neighbor poisoned her, and she was 9 years old, and it just totally ruined her. There was nothing the vets could do for her except put her down so that she no longer had to suffer. I was in the room while they put her down, and I will tell you, it is a scary experience. I will never forget that. I promised myself that I wouldn't cry, but while I was watching that, I couldn't help it; I just broke down in tears. I'm sorry, I know this probably isn't helping you. My point is, you're not the only one. If you want to talk about it, feel free to talk to me, since I know what you're going through.

That's really sad to hear cry I was like 7 i think when my 1st dog got put down She was a 15 year old golden labradour called sunny Boisterous, happy, fun to be around. But one day she got liver cancer. I remember a vet coming round the house but i didn't understand why We were told to go into our rooms, but i couldn't help but look out the window Sunny was like spazzing out. Dad was hosing her down, and the vet was looking over her Then he took out an injection and slowly she came to a stand still And that was it She was dead I cried all night It didn't help that the fact my grandmother had also recenlty passed from cancer, and was soon to find out someone else i knew had it aswell
Sorry to depress you further But dw, your dogs going to be put out it's misery. It'll lose it's pain Try to be happy and look on the goodside You will again meet one day

Yeah i don't like talking about it sad
Woah lot of dead pets
Your dog was well cute...well looked it. Never saw the others
I've had 2 hamsters, 1 gunie pig, 6 fish, sea monkeys...probly more All dead I accidenly killed 1 hamster because i was young and tried to make it do tricks, but it fell of the cage sweatdrop Felt terible. Cried from guilt. Only had her 3 days! Other hamster died from heat and old age Fish, age and one jumped out the bowl sea monkeys never grew I was on the phone when guni pig died, then lil sis came running in 'brandy's dead!' I didn't believer her, but then i icked up her She was flat and loads of white ants crawled from her bum I loved her
#sigh#
