So, as of right now... Guard isnt part of the band TECHNICALLY. We dont have to be in band to be on Guard (but we still do stuff with the band).

BUT.

The band instructor, who as of right now teaches Treble Choir, Concert Choir, 2 guitar classes, and a band class...is going to drop BOTH guitar classes and instead have a period for Colorguard (shared with extra practice for drumline) as well as splitting the band (since it's wayyy huge) into two class periods and making them "different types of bands" but i dont quite remember what kinds they were.

and im so excited.

except that means one less elective for me.
