(( =P you all know the rules. dont post here unless you have permission from me or Mia ))  Rahu had been gone for some time and finaly was around again but very little as he prefured to stick to himself. having seen Aruna when he first popped back up had put him n a sore mood but that had been days ago and recently he met someone new by the name Kitsune but it hardly mattered. standing at a small hill, he pawed the ground lightly with a not so amused expresion as he wondered where that blased hawk Ra went off to again. even though he didn't care much for the hawk beign around, he actualy was use to Ra being around not far from him. growling to himself, he stomped a hoof on the ground for no real reason

 Shetan was out wandering again as he did almost every day. And every night he returned to his home, the meadow in which he and Johar had chosen to reside in and raise their foals. The thought crossed his mind again and a light smile crossed his dark face. His foals. Johar had given him light and peace in his dark, restless heart.
Thoughts swirled around in his head and he thought about Rahu. He had not seen him since that day he had found him pinned under that flutter mare. He wondered if Rahu had found himself, or if Rahu would even find love someday like he had. He himself had thought it impossible until that magical night he met Johar. He wandered into a large secluded field, lost in his thoughts to the point he had not noticed Rahu a distance away. Of course it didn't help Rahu's scent was downwind so he was not able to pick it up.

Rahu had not expected anyone to wander by since it was a pretty secluded area. as he was about to just wander off, he caugt sight and scent of Shetan since Rahu was downwind from Shetan. from Rahu's stand point it looked like Shetan was in thought about something. still standing there, he hadn't seen Shetan in a long while and didn't know if he should go over or even greet him. giving a snort, he decided he might as well since he had not seen or talked to Shetan in a while. and so he gave out a pericing whinny which wasn't something Rahu really ever did to anyone, since he like for others to pass by with out bothing him at all.

Shetan's train of thought was broken by a shrill whinney. His head shot up and he turned to look the direction it had come from. His body was tensed and ready, in case it was a challenge from another stallion, although it sounded more like a greeting somewhat then a challenge. It was then Rahu appeared in his line of sight, approaching him. He turned and walked to meet Rahu, his deep voice almost booming, "Well speak of the devil, quite literally. I was just thinking about you Rahu. How are you these days?" He arched a brow, hoping he'd not find himself dealing with the same reckless stallion Rahu was at their last meeting.

Rahu met Shetan half way and stopped before making a reply with a raised brow. " thats interestign to hear you where thinking about me and makes me wonder why you would." he then took a moment to reply to the queston Shetan asked. " i suppose i can say i been alright since i left and returned but not many days ago." flicking his long tail, he decided to switch the sudject a bit from himself. " and what of you?"

Shetan stood face to face with Rahu, his only stallion friend really, or at least the only one deemed worthy to be given that honor. "Well I had many thoughts on my mind, although they did travel to you briefly before you annonced your presence. A strange coincidence I'd call it. " Shetan listened and nodded. It was apparant as always Rahu wished not to speak about personal matters about himself. "Well its nice to see you back then. Hopefully back to your old self?" He phrased his last statement to sound like a question. "Well not many things change as you well know, but I believe you should be the first to know of my recent news." He knew that would spark Rahu's interest and waited for Rahu to ask what news he had to bring.

Rahu smirked at Shetan that old famous smirk he always gave. " i suppose it was one and of course i wouldn't be back if i wasn't. " of course Shetans next words sparked his interest since it seemed Shetan had some news. rising a brow again, of course he now had to ask since it seemed to him Shetan knew he would ask with his interest now into what Shetan had to tell. " oh? and what recent news do you have to share?"

Shetan chuckled lightly. "Well one cannot be too sure Rahu, hence why I ask of course. Not that I want to pry for details, a simple answer was good enough. I am glad to her it." Shetan grinned as Rahu played along with him and asked the question he wanted to hear. " ah well that might take some time to explain, but to spare your ears of much chatter and make a long story short, I have found a wonderful strong wild mare. Her name is Johar. She agreed to be my mate after sweeping me off my feet with her glorious wold carefree nature and she is now expecting, if you know what I mean. " Shetan winked at Rahu after his last sentence.

Rahu blinked in surpise at this news Shetan told and then grinned. " fair enough. and seems more than jsut nothign has happened or changed while i been gone." he definatly was surprised to hear Shetan had found a mare he could settle with. specialy as in his veiw Shetan seemed the type that wouldn't let jsut any mare be close to him like. " a congradulations is in order to you and your mate Johar then specialy since you are expecting strong foals no doubt."

Shetan laughed and smiled at his friend. "Well ok more then not alot..mostly recently though. She is unlike any mare I've ever met. It was strange really. I drempt for many weeks and months about a white amre....and one night she stood before me. Imagine my surprise." Shetan shook his head as he relived the memories. "turns out she too drempt of a strong black stallion...me. Almost as if fate willed us to be, if you believe in such things." He moved forward a bit, wanting to walk and stretch his legs as they talked. "She is strong in many ways, the old ways I live for running in her blood. A wild mare, but so loyal and devoted. I thought mares like her died in my mother's time...but alas I found one. " He msued in wonder over Johar's unbelievable wonderousness. "Mmmm yes strong foals indeed. Hopefully a son will be produced. Would you like to meet her Rahu?"

Rahu followed Shetan as he moved forward, which showed him that he din't mind walking and talking. " seems you two where ment to be together with what you just told me. and knowign you, you wouldn't settle for jsut any mare. " he kept his thoughts from drifting to thinking about such things for himself. and almost stopped a moment when he was asked if he wanted to meet Johar. " if she is around close i suppose it wouldn't hurt to meet her."

Shetan continued walking as Rahu walked beside him. "Wellt hats true. I actually thought I would never settle down at all with just one mare. I think the part I love most is her acceptance of who and what I am and she doesn't try to change me in any way. She respects me like a mare should respect a stallion, and I her like a stallion should treat a mare." Rahu stopped in his tracks and Shetan stopped, turning to look at him, blinking curiously. "Well we do have a home in a meadow where we reside for now. Normally we roam and have a meeting place, but We thought it best to have a safe place to raise the foals. She will be waiting for me there." Shetan watched Rahu and wondered if this young stallion would ever have foals of his own, even if he didn't find the right mare. "You ever thought about having your own foals Rahu? Not necessarily taking a mate but you know, spreading your seed and continuing your line. We could use some strong offspring in this world."

Rahu nodded to Shetan and would have started walking again but then that question he asked made him stop a moment a think. shaking his head, he didn't really want that kind of thought in his head and started forward again. " well that is a good thing you two picked a suitable spot to raise your foals. as to me having my own foals.... i had that thought come across my mind a few times but decided i'd rather not since i don't see myself having any, atlest that is how i see it."

Shetan noted Rahu's hesitance about the subject and let it drop with a final, general comment. "Well one never knows Rahu. I thought the same thing myself and look where I am now? Usually if you find it, its when you're not looking for it and usually not wanting it either." He started forward with Rahu, leading him to the meadow in which Johar rested, awaiting his return from his daily wanderings.

Rahu nodded and contiuned to follow. " i suppose your right about that. " he was glad the subject was dropped, but it lingered in the back of his mind. but he shook his head and didn't bother to think about it as he followed Shetan. " so is this meadow far from here?"
Johar grazed in the meadow that she and Shetan decided was a saft place to raise there foals. and of course she always was there waiting for him to come back from his wanderings. she her self would go for walks but never far from the meadow since now that she was heavy with foal, she didn't like to go too fair from the safty of the meadow.
