It was not a new truck nor one kept in good shape. It was dusky green with pealing paint with many small dents but it kept warm and drove and he liked it. Besides it was a man's car and such it was suppose to get a little dirty and roughed up.
He lead his date, if you could call this a date to the monster and opened the door. THe inside was in better shape then the out with smooth butterly leather seats and a clean interior. "In you go now," he rumbled by one of the long ears giving the apendage a soft n**.

A small yip, and poor Sander's ear twitched slightly, starting drunkenly before looking up into the truck's interior. The cold was bracing -- he hadn't had enough liquor for this -- pouting a bit, he tried to climb up into the seat, but it was a messy affair that involved liquor-numbed limbs moving awkwardly. He was an actor, a dancer, and yet he still managed to give the other an eyeful of fluffy white bunny's tail as he clambered up into his seat. "I think I've got it," burbled the drunken rabbit, dazedly, as he placed his bottom in the seat firmly. There.

Mmmm tail, he shook himself, geeze like he didn't see tail before. A small rumaged behind Sander and a blanket was pulled out and drapped over the liquor sodden bunny. Rayne shut the door walking around and got in driver's side and turned the key in the inigiton.
The truck purred into life, and a few switches the heat was on and would fill the interior shortly. The mer didn't like the cold anymore then the bunny.

A burbling little laugh escaped Sander as he found himself covered. Closing his eyes briefly, he nested down into the soft seat and wrapped his slender, shivering body in the blanket, nothing peeping out but his toes as he'd left his shoes in the shop. He sighed with almost sinful pleasure as the heat started flooding the cab of the truck. "Warm," sighed Sander softly.

"Should be," Rayne glanced out the back of the cab and pulled out and started to the apartment building. The modified cd player once warmed sucked in the disk and celtic music started to fill the cab kept at a low volume. It would not take long to reach the apartment building he was currently living with his brother. Roughly nine minutes.

Wrapping his slender arms around his legs, Sander reveled in the sheer strangeness of the situation. He'd never done this before -- it was interesting, and he supposed drunkenly that there was a time for everything under the sun.
Besides, he thought, even if the other did open his jaws wide and eat him all up, it would be a better fate than struggling through Christmas and trying not to let his housemates know how bothered he was. It was nice to give in to fate once in awhile, anyway, wasn't it? "Pretty music," he drawled softly, lolling in his seat.

"Celtic, was a gift a few years back." He still did not know what possessed his brother to buy him a half dozen celtic cds. The one playing was his favorite. Nor what was possesing him to drag the bunny back to his apartment. It must be the forced celebicty of his adopted brother dating. Sabin wouldn't play with him anymore.
The question was sober bunny or should be make the bunny a nice roman coke? "You like Roman cokes?"

"What's a Roman coke?" Sander asked, looking over at Rayne again as if he'd just noticed the mer was there again. He was a bit wrapped up inside his head, with thoughts that he'd been trying to get rid of.

"I think rum and coke maybe vodka and coke.." Rayne shrugged. He really just played around with mixing drinks. He entered the apartment complex parkling lot and parked in his spot near the entrence. "Come on bunny. It be warmer inside."

"It sounds..." Sander hiccupped, "very, very alcoholic. Good. Yes. And being warm, too." He had to wobble a bit to get down out of the truck safely, but managed to end up with his bare feet on the cold ground. He winced and shivered, unpleasantly.

Rayne got out, walking around and with a soft nearly unhearable sound he lifted up the rabbit, pulled the blanket over him and proceeded to carry Sanders pass the apartment bell boy and towards the elevator. "Very alcoholic."

A small shriek escaped him, and Sander swatted the other lightly with one soft little hand before relaxing in the other's strong arms, a soft, melting heap of warm, gingerbread-scented bunny. "Goood. You're strong," cooed Sander, nuzzling against him after a moment.

Rayne laughed. "I should be," he moved his arms slightly securing the suddenly limp heap of bunny. The nuzzle caused a flare of heat to run under his skin and made him give a small sound of contentment as he stepped in the elevator and they went straight up.

"Really? Do you play with heavy things?" Sander slid one hand from under the blanket, rubbing his long fingers over one of the strong arms that held him, ignoring the drop of his stomach as the elevator sped up. He nestled against the warm body, the sensation of warmth bleeding out to his every limb.

"Gang, lots of heavy lifting kept in shape to keep safe." Rayne looked down as the bunny stroaked his arm and flexed it slightly under those long finger. "You?"
