Of course as his usual routine, Artemis Entreri was training the body. He was in an area with fallen trees that where scattered on the ground, which was a perfect place for him to train. A dark smirk came to his face and he took at a run, jumping a log with ease. Continuing he, jumped the next log and continued to jump logs. Since no one was about when he checked before starting, he just concentrated on his exercise.

The scent of another male caught the stallion's attention as he wandered through the recently windswept part of the forest. The wind had been strong and there were a good number of trees that were blown down during the gale. Pawing the ground as he tried to make sense of the direction where the scent came from the winged soquili then took flight and started encircling the area occasionally whinnying in the hopes of a reply.

Artemis Entreri came to a sudden halt after jumping another log, when he heard the whinny which almost caused hi to trip on the next log. he growled to himself as he caoght himself before tripping. snorting with a bit of annoyance, he gave a whinny back to whom ever gave one out. though from the voice of it, the soquili was a male. pawign the ground, he waited for whom ever it was to show up, though he almsot thought he saw a bird in theair circling.

Hearing the reply Arod swiftly made his way over towards the stranger and alighted lightly onto the ground. Folding his wings back Arod observed the other for a moment as if to evaluate the other's potential. Then as if satisfied with what he saw the palomino stallion dipped his head and greeted the other . "I bid you a good day,sir. My name is Arodacahan;Arod for short and it has been quite a while since I've met anyone other than the few forest creatures that dwell here,"

Entreri watched as what he thought was a bird, actualy was a winged stallion, who came swiftly over and landed lightly on the ground.it was a surprise to see the palomino stallion greet him so fast and easly. he sized the stallion up a moment before repling to him as he was always careful with how he replied or with what he did. giving his own slight bow, he responded to the stallion who stated his name as Arodacahan. " i am Artemis Entreri. and i have to say it's be awhile also since i last seen anyone." repling with that cool tone of voice, he always appeared calm, cool, and in control. keepign a careful eye on Arod, he really never took any chances.

Noticing the other stallion's weariness Arod took a few steps back to allow more distance between them. It was after all his fault to have started the greeting and he had always been one to take things rather hastily as compared to others. "Fogive me Sir Enteri. Was I interupting you? I would take my leave now if so," said Arod shifting his wings. " Though I had hoped to have a conversation or two before parting...,"

Enteri shrugged a bit. “You really weren’t interrupting anything at all. It’s a routine of mine to exercise and train my body and wings. And since your already here and we are already talking there no need to leave." he replied while he flexed his wings a bit and ruffled them to smooth the feathers out. Actually he didn't mind some conversation, though he was covered in some sweat from jumping logs. Arod seemed mildly interesting enough to put off his exercise, specialy since he never met a wind stallion.

"It is good then," said Arod evidently pleased that he was not turned away that quickly. "But...I do not understand this traning at all. What is its purpose? We are not so old that we would stiffen if we stood still and it is training enough to survive the daily dangers that threatens us from predators and the like isn't it?"

Entreri's eyes twinkled a bit at this question Arod threw at him and let a dark smirk come to his lips. " i strive for perfiction, to keep my skills in top condition and to improve them. i don't train just to beable to survive, i train with a puropse and a motive to do so that is personal." that was his responce to that question he got sometimes when someone asked him about why he trained. never been taken down by any but Drizzt, he always had confidace in his ablities to take anyone, though he strived to take Drizzt down to prove that he was the better.

" I see...," said Arod not pursuing the matter further. If one had a goal to reach, it was only expected that one strived for it. With that train of thought in mind Arod too rolled back his lips slightly as if remembering some distatsteful past. "In that case friend Enteri...may I call you so? I shall agree with you. If being strong is your goal, then you seem to be on the right path,"

Artemis Entreri happy with how Arod didn't push the matter at all. but when he asked if he could call him Entreri a friend, well now that was something most never asked of him and he never called anyone a friend. if they where on good terms with him they were concedered more an ally in a way but not a friend in the lest since he concedered friends a weakness and so he took a moment to muse over what he sould say. " i suppose if you really want to i'll allow it. and since you agree with me then i must be then." if he wanted to conceder him a friend, he would let him but Entreri would only concder him someone he knows on good terms.

Arod let out a laugh. "I sense that the word 'friend' does not bode too well with you. Very well then Mr Enteri, I shall just refer you as that. Are you pleased now?"

Artemis Entreri raised a brow amoment, intriged the stallion caught on to him so easly just by the way he spoke. " you can use the word 'friend' for whom ever you please. i on the other hand do use the word do to certain reason. but wether you call me friend or mr is your desison." flicking his tail, he eyed the stallion.

"It is fine then Mr. Enteri. If you'd not go by the formalities of being called a friend, so will I. After all, one has to suffer a few odd quirks of another...if you understand me," said Arod smoothly. After a moment's pause to survey the surroundings, the stallion returned his glance to the other. "By the way Mr. Enteri, would you care to take a drink by the river? I have wandered quite a distance before I chanced upon you,"
