Name: The Nile Monitor
Scientific Name: Varanus niloticus
Habitat/Range: The Nile Montiors are found in Africa, mainly in Egypt and centered around (you guessed it) The Nile River.
Diet: Nile monitors feed on fish, frogs, eggs, birds, small mammals, large insects, and carrion (stuff that's dead, EW!).
Basic Info about it:
Nile monitors grow to about 6 feet in length. They have muscular bodies, strong legs and powerful jaws full of sharp teeth. They also possess sharp claws used for climbing, digging, defense, or tearing at their prey. Like all monitors they have a forked tongue, which facilitates their sense of smell.
Their nostrils are placed high on the snout, indicating that these animals are highly aquatic, but are also excellent climbers and quick runners on land.
Please Note: The Nile monitor has a very aggressive temperament with a powerful bite and a lashing tail and therefore is very dangerous.

Yo, remember you don't have to make your charater simular or opposite the whale personality just make a human character and people will crit and help biggrin it takes time.
