Bing- 25%
Bing sighed as he looked at the foaming ocean waves. If he wasn't turning into some animal-person-thing, he would've loved to stay on this island for a while, a nice breeze, great sun, no snobby people, it really was paradise. Reality was, he was turning into a animal-person-thing and he was pretty much screwed to spend the rest of forever on the island.
Least the beach was pretty.
Bing was still sporting the "Shipwrecked" look, a torn pair of kahki shorts and a sandy blue hawaiian shirt covered the slightly tan man. Little pointed ears covered with tan fur clashed on dark brown hair. A tail was visible on his butt, and he kept it out of his pants, not because he was proud of it, more because if he kept it inside, he would be scratching his bottom all day.
He scribbled something in his notebook, his pen bobbing up and down furiously as he wrote ideas that just popped into his head, not wondering if they made sense or not, he didn't know if he was going to have hands, or even a brain big enough to get these ideas out, better write them down now.

Autumn made her way to the beach, planning to enjoy the sun. It had been quite a while since she had been to a beach to hang out, with her being unable to make it to a beach back home before winter came along.
As she approached the beach, she took off her shoes & socks, stuffing her socks into her shoes, & walked on the sand. I'll have to see if I can somehow get some sandals, she thought. Living in the Northeast, where it was cold for half the year, she hadn't found any reason to get sandals.
As she thought of home, she managed to wander to the water's edge, the cool water brushing up over her feet. It snapped her out of her thoughts. "Ah, how refreshing."
Autumn flopped onto the sand, letting her feet get cooled by the water. Her eyes meandered around the beach, spotting someone else who seemed like they wanted to enjoy the weather. Upon a closer look, she saw that he was writing. "Eh, must me a journal or something," she said to herself, failing to notice the tail or the slight amount of fur; she was at least 20 feet away, & it wasn't quite easy to see anything unless she stopped & took a really careful look.

Bing was still preoccupied on his little notebook. It never actually occured to him to actually READ what he wrote, but that was Bing for you, absorbed in his work, cubicles just train you to do that sort of thing.
He actually took a little time to read his work, and he smiled. It was a list of things to do before the next shot. Most of it involved getting stares from other islanders, all the rest was gibberish or turned into crude sketches of curly monsters, mindless doodling.
Bing finally put the pen down and sighed, "Now what?"

Autumn sighed & looked out across the water. She hadn't been gone from home very long, & yet she was already missing a few things. Getting away from the cold & the dry air though, that was nice. Autumn never really did like the cold.
When she thought she heard the person speak, she looked over again, not knowing if he had tried to speak to her or not. "Ah, why not? Might as well get to know some people," she mumbled to herself.
Autumn got up, brushing the sand off of her pants, & wandered a bit closer to the stranger. She sat down about 19 feet away from him, being careful not to invade his space. Turning to look at him, she said, "Enjoying the weather, too?" When she was closer, she could see him better. Perhaps the first thing she noticed, besides his hair & his face, was the tail. She quickly looked away towards his face, where she noticed his ears weren't normal, either. They seemed to be a little pointed, & had hair. She said nothing about it though, but couldn't help but raise a brow.
"The weather sure is nice.. Beats the cold," she said, hoping he didn't catch her glances.

"It's alright, isn't Arizona at least. Or New York." Bing said replied, he didn't look up from his notebook.
His ears twitched a bit, if they weren't pointed and furry the way they were now, he probably wouldn't be able to hear the girl above the crashing waves.

"You're here from Arizona? I come all the way from New Hampshire. It was getting pretty cold just before I left late last week." Autumn surely was happy to be away from the cold.
She looked at him again, & couldn't help but look at his ears. Why are they like that, she wondered. She looked away again, thinking of why he would be wearing pointed ears. Fuzzy-looking pointed ears at that. And the tail? Weird.
Autumn quickly tried to think of something else to talk about. "So.. What are you here for?" she asked, referring to how she thought this place was some sort of a school. "I came here to try to learn more about photography & hopefully improve my skills." As she spoke, a smile came on her face. She was excited to try to take some photos here. There was a whole variety of new things to take photos of now.

Ryan - 25%
Ryan walked out on the beach along the breaking waves, looking to see if there was any interesting flotsam.
His ear, which had graown larger and started to curve in at the edges, swiveled forward as much as it could when he heard to voices up ahead. He looked up, a less than natural position now that his back had started to curve. A couple people he didn't recognize were on the beach, though it looked like they weren't together. He walked towards them, hoping to see some new interesting species.

Bing's ears twitched again, his tail flopped a bit too.
"I swear" He muttered, these things have a mind of their own."
They were annoying, but not unexpected, reflexes of having new appendages. It takes a while to get them in order, the doctors said, it was like puberty, when you're growing, you stumble. Just have to get used to the new stuff.
"Got shipwrecked here" Bing said to the girl's voice, "Pretty much it."

Autumn couldn't help but look when his tail moved. "A mind of their own?" How strange, she thought. "What the heck are they?" she asked, not really realizing that they were real.
"Shipwrecked, huh? That sucks. How long ago was that?" Autumn wondered why he was still here if he had gotten shipwrecked.
Autumn noticed someone else approaching them. She didn't mind though.

Bing finally looked up at her.
"These?" He pointed at the protruding parts, "These are my ears." Bing pointed at them, and they seemed to wave at her.
"And my tail." He pointed at the little tuft on tan fur he was half sitting on, it went up, and plopped patheticly on the sand.
Bing couldn't tell that the girl had no idea what was going on, he just assumed she was just some ditz that didn't know any better. So much for paradise, he thought he got away from those clueless types... If she was rich too, he might go out of his way to bite her.

Autumn blinked. "How does it move? It's certainly not real." Or was it? She once heard about people who got themselves "modified" via surgery or other methods to make themselves look more animalistic.. From getting their ears "trimmed," teeth filed.. And she even heard of one man who was going to have a tail attached.
Nah, he can't be that crazy, she decided.
"Yeah, ok.." Autumn thought hard as to other reasons why he had a tail. A tail that moved. Suddenly, an idea struck her.
"Hey wait a second, is that some kind of costume of some sort? I'm told this is some sort of art school, & some people consider theater to be a form of art."
After thinking about what she said, she shook her head, realizing she probably sounded stupid with what she just said. Autumn, you just sounded like a retard. She looked at her feet & wiggled her toes in the sand.

Ryan soon came close enough that he could get a good look at Bing. Pushing his glasses back up, he quickened his place, wanting to see what animal the guy was becoming.
"Hi." He said with a pleasant smile, waving to both people on the beach, the claws he had startd growing fairly obvious. He didn't notice any strange features on the girl, which instantly made her less interesting. As curious as he was though, he didn't want to be rude. As he approached, he caught the end of the conversation between them. It seemed she didn't know what was going on yet. Great...

What a retard. ((XD)) Bing thought, as he picked himself up.
This was an idea in his notebook.
"Alright, since you're so obviously new to this island, I'll give you a demonstration."
Bing turned his back on her, his tail swinging in the breeze.
"Pull it, just not too hard, alright?" He said, looking over his shoulder.
Edit: "Oh, hi." He greeted mr. claw guy, "Just give us a moment?"

Autumn got up to check out this tail of his.
Before she yanked on it, she took a closer look. It seemed real.
She grabbed the tail; the fur felt real. When she gave it a tug, she could tell it was on tight. She pulled it a bit harder, & it still didn't do anything.
"Whoa.. What the..?" She said, with a hint of confusion in her voice.
She looked at his ears. They, too, seemed pretty real, not some fakey gel stuff people stuck to their ears.
"But... how? How did that happen to you?" she asked, still unaware that she would be in for the same fate as he.
Autumn looked back to the new person. At first, he seemed quite normal. THen she saw his fingers as he waved. His fingernails.. Were long. And pointed. This prompted another raised brow.
