I would say that it all depends on your perception on things... It's not far from normal to envision oneself with wings when you are in a plane that you "float" about. I don't really believe in angels so I don't see myself with wings...

Astral forms sometimes will have wings. Either present at all times, or sometimes.

Having wings isn't an odd things. The thing is, as the majority of people believe, your astral form can change its shape. So, if you naturally don't have wings, that doesn't mean you can't make them. It might be your natural form, it might have something to do with a therian form, or it might be something to do with being angel kin or a type of elf. Then again, there is the possibility of lucid dreaming, but basically, in either case its not something thats odd to have....

To be honest I'd say it's just a manifestation of how your mind thinks you should appear in that situation.

oh. they exist about 50 percent of the time and i didnt will them into existence. apparently, when theyre out, my elemental aura also changes from fire/earth to light/cold/lightning. also a non-aura seeing person who was near my freinds who could claimed my shirt buged where the wings would be.

I just think it rules out 100% one of the reasons people use to say they are otherkin, but it does not rule out otherkin altogether by itself.
