As you can see, the Channukiahs are having great resemblance to the Golden Lamp that was in the Tample. We are using eight-branched lamp instead of seven-branched lamp, because we don't allowed to lit a seven-branched lamp outside the Tample, and the sages decided to make a difference between the Menorah that the Hasmoneans lit in the Tample and the lamp that is made for the miracle's publicity.

Oh, I almost forgot the Spinning Top. There are four letters which represents the following santence: "a great miracle had happened here".
On the other hand, there are tops that their letters represents this sentence: " a great miracle had happened there " ( Mostly abroad ):
