So, the band director at my high school's son was born with a heart problem in 04. And he wasn't suposed to live, but he did, except.
This summer he was admitted into the hospital and had to stay until he got a new heart. And he had the surgery, and well. His body rejected it.
And since like the 14th November Ellis (son's name) was in the hospital in critical care. And we needed a new instructor for the musical pit and dedicated the show to Ellis.
Anyways. Yesterday after school, but before the band concert, Ellis died.
And we had this thing for him. It's been going on since like, the beginning of the year. A turtle. A turtle meant Ellis. The phrase "Slow and steady wins the race" and such lead to it. But yeah, during the musical performances when the band instructor was in the hospital, there were pictures of turtles EVERYWHERE. All over. And before the shows we were all like "Remember the turtle" and brought him up alll the time. Like to remember. And yeah. Today at school there were turtle pictures EVERYWHERE. All over. Like everyone was wearing them. slkdjf;lskjfk And yeah. I kept it together for the school day, but now I'm at home and thinking about it and not doing so well.

There were people giving them out and everything..
And it's bad, because I mean, what do you say?
"Awww that's so sad"?
No that's what you say when someone breaks a leg or maybe their pet bird dies.
"I understand what you're going through"?
No, that's just rude. Unless it's happened to you, you can't understand.
"I'm hear if you need to talk"
Is fine for friends, but not teachers. A teacher isn't going to talk to you.
"I'm sorry"?
Meh, it's alright, but. It's not your fault. Andwhen you have all these people appologizing, it makes you feel guilty.
I think the most appropiriate thing would be "WWe'll always remember" or "We'll never forget"
Because neither will they. So you can itentify a bit.
He wasn't at school today. Dunno when he'll be back. Estellio Estel

I would share most my thoughts upon the matter, however as they go into religious doctrine and as I know how most the guild does not share in my faith, I'll keep such to myself with the exception of a few words.
This is not the end for Ellis, nor will there be an end for him. Just because he is not here on this Earth now does not mean that he will not see his loving parents again. He will, as families can be together forever.
Remember, remember the 4th of December...
