I want to sell art to raise funds for Christmas Gifts. Only problem is, I don't know how much to sell my arts for.

Here's some links to samples:

Suggest prices?

Oh, and I'm only Sketch/Inking. I'm not going to CG unless I get a bribe, because I'm lazy. DX

Hmmm.... I'd say go for the 400-700 range honestly. I'd say start with a low price and see how well you attract, then lowly notch up the price to keep a slow steady flow dependant on your work pace. Its good art I tell you that. :3 But becareful not to set the price to high or you may scare off potential customers. >p

Yarr, I agree with Roy. Start off at about 600 and see how much people like 'em. If you sell a lot, increse price. Sell not-a-lot (it's good art, don't see why it wouldn't sell XD ) , lower the price.

You only say that because you don't want to call them worthless.

Calling your twin an a*****e isn't very nice.

Anyhow... I would give you the advice on pricing that you ask for, but there's a problem, the art quality is inconsistent, which ones are like what you would be selling?

I'd pay as much as 1k-2k for some of those, but less than 300g for others. Maybe you should just determine a general price range and charge based on the quality of the individual peice?

Only problem with that is most people who go shopping for art are trying to shop on a budget, so they like hard figures.

That's why I said to have a range, that way he can have a maximum and minimum price and give the buyers at least a very good idea of the price. From what I've seen, it's a methed a lot of Gaia artists use

600-700g it is. x_x

And inconsistent you say?

Some are just random sketches, while others are ones where I sat for a while and actually did something, and got into it, and improved it.

So 600g for Sketch, 900g for Ink?

That's cheap. D: I'll raise if I get a lot of commisions.

Then that would be why they're inconsistent, wouldn't it?

Also, no offense but you may be self over-valuing your art because you're biased.

That was rude.

And you know it.

Leave your drama outside, do not bring it to me.

That seem slike a fair price :3

@Dukes: I have two friends with art shops, one who just finished running an auction, and one who recently closed hers up, and that's the system all of them used. While it may not be used everywhere, it IS used, and I though using a price range was a lot more efficient and fair than a set price no matter what the quality

Shoy, we've all thought it is about 6-800g, you're the one who thinks it's cheap. Now if we all agree, then what does that indicate to you about your disagreement?
