((This RP is open to anyone! Silent Spy and Bird Draggon will both be RP'ing Eydis! Silent Spy roleplays the sweet, adorable sweet princess aspect of Eydis. Bird Draggon will be RP'ing the mean, grumpy, nonprinceslike aspect of Eydis.))] Eydis stood at the beach, watching the sunrise from the surface of the wateer. Somewhere out there is Eydis's home island. But she cannot return there. No, not after what had happened. Then again, Eydis was perfectly happy in these new lands, or at least, when she was herself, her normal self, she loved it here. She couldn't truly speak for her "other-half".

Oh, god. After a blink, Eydis, instead of gazing dreamily into the waves, was scowling at them. More ocean-gazing. Couldn't that stupid other side of her find something a bit more interesting to stare at? Like.. say, the forest? She could alsways find some small, unsuspecting creature to terrify there. Even a plain or another desert would be preferable to... the beach.
Eydis eyed a crab that scuttled by, frowning. Scaring crabs was not, by any means, an easy task. Nor was it rewarding. "STOP IT!" screamed Eydis outloud. Wait, did she just scream out loud. How unlady-like of her to do so in public. Eydis looked around, smiling as if nothing was wrong. The other side had returned. It had been a few hours since her other side emerged, which is a lot longer than it usually takes for 'her' to come out. Eydis tried fighting against the urge to turn back...she just couldn't fight it...

Click, she was back. The brief pause that occurred whenever the switch did always left her short of breath, body trying to make up for lost time. Eydis didn't like being breathless, and Eydis didn't like to experience things she didn't like more than most people.
Eydis glowered at the waves, as if it was their fault she was doomed to exist with a fluttery twit of an other self. That she couldn't even communicate with.
Hm. There was a thought. Eydis forgot her anger at the moving ocean and her plans to remove the flowers for a moment and wondered if she could talk to her other self. Then maybe she could tell her to shut up and stop taking over her body. Eydis snorted, looking down at her choppy reflection before...
