I've been getting a weird sensation in my shoulder for quite a while now, and I haven't found any medical explanation for this. Occasionally, I'll just get a weird feeling like something's grabbing my shoulderblade right near my spine. I don't have any clue what this is, but I'm thinking since this started after I started with psionics, the two might be related. Any help would be great.

How would you describe this feeling (aside from weird)? Cold and unpleasant? Warm and soothing? Or something else entirely?

As always, look for mundane reasons first. If it is a real, physical sensation it sounds like a muscle cramp or some other kind of physical stress. If it's more of a metaphysical/energetic sensation, then you're probably talking something less mundane.

I did check for medical reasons for this, and according to webMD, everything is fine in that area.(not that I don't have enough wrong with me already) As for what the feeling is, it's a little like a tingling sensation, but mostly it just feels like somebody grabbing my shoulder.(for whatever reason they'd want to do that)

It doesn't hurt, it's just really annoying. I notice that it usually happens when I'm utterly bored, which also is when I used to get precognitions. Those probably aren't related, but I'm just throwing stuff around right now to see if anything sticks.

Well, if it were when your sleeping (or nearly asleep) I would ask about the possibility of psi vamps. But then people will tend to go with what they know, and I know vampires...
Could it just be a phantom feeling? If it happens when your really bored, maybe it's just your mind trying to keep it's self entertained... The mind is a wonderful, and wonderfully anoying thing afterall.

None that I've found (on the phantom feeling). Not other than just trying to find something to keep yourself entertained really...

That's easier said than done, I'm doing several things to keep entertained,(not the least of which are writing a novel, creating a political tabletop RPG and my various activities on gaia) but I still manage boredom somehow.

I know the feeling... I'm constantly at one thing or another, yet I'm often bored... who know? I sertainly don't get it.

if you focus on the feeling, can it spred? my right shoulder has an odd tingling on it that seems to spred down my arm occasionally, but other than being there it seems not to do anything.

Dude, that happens to me when I'm in certain positions. It feels like something just kind of whacks me in the shoulder. I think it may be something popping.
