Bryan and Margaret

Name- Bryan Milton
Nickname/Alias- Whatever the kids come up with.

Appearance-
Personality- Bryan is fairly easy going, and usually won’t push the kids to tell him anything they aren’t willing to tell. He’s gentle, patient and understanding. Though he does run the home and is like the warden he prefers to work with the kids as though he was a friend rather than an authority figure, though he will assert his authority if needed. Bryan is very good at his job, people and animals feel at ease around him. He is the all around Good Samaritan and will never leave a person stranded if he can help.
Brief History- Bryan grew up in a nice area of Las Vegas, NV. His mother worked hard to take care of him and his brothers as they were growing up. Things worked out well until she married Mark. He supposed she’d done it because they needed the extra income and she needed the stability. There was no love involved; in fact, Mark and the boys hated each other. They got along only for the sake of keeping peace in the house until the nigh Mark came home drunk and tried to beat Bryan’s mother and younger brothers. Instead Bryan knocked Mark out, dragged him outside, threw him in the truck bed, and left for several hours. Mark was found the next morning, beaten and mugged on Fremont Street and it was blamed on Bryan. Bryan was sent to prison, being 16 already, but a friend of Margaret’s heard about it on the news and got the woman to call and have it arranged for Bryan to come here.
It took several months before Bryan opened up enough to talk to Margaret. Even the few days he’d been in jail in Vegas had warped him somewhat. He believed himself to be some kind of dangerous murderer. Margaret had seen right through it and though it took a few years to convince the system that he was not a criminal in the end it was wiped from the record, replaced with a notation of self defense. Bryan never left the ranch. He stayed here and worked as a ranch hand for Margaret, sending money home to his family since he received free room and board. Now he’s taken Margaret’s place as Warden and is happy to know that he’ll never leave the place that changed his life for the better. He hopes to do the same for these kids.

Name- Margaret Luban
Nickname/Alias- old hag, Mom, Grandma…anything else the kids come up with.
Age- 65
Gender- Female
Appearance-
Personality- Margaret has sometimes been described as bull headed because once she sets her mind to something nothing can sway her. She is gentle, but firm and persistent. She has a way of convincing someone to do something so that in the end they think it was their own idea. She’s not pushy, but she will not back down to anyone. She never comes across as mean or aggressive, but in the end she always gets her way. She is very patient.
Brief History- Truth be told, the concept of this ranch was not something Margaret herself had come up with. When she was six she remembered her cousin Daniel, a trouble making city boy, being shipped out here for her father to deal with. She remembered how her father had worn the boy ragged, making him work the horses, and she remembered the day Daniel saw his first wild horse at auction. Danny had convinced her father to let him save the horse from the meat packers and promised to train it himself. That horse changed Danny, and when Margaret got older and saw how bad things got in some group homes and detention centers in the cities she closed the old dude ranch and reworked it into what it is now.
From the day Bryan came around he became a paid ranch hand here, and she always appreciated his help. On his 25th birthday she approached him and asked if he’d like to take over for her. She was after all getting older and she wanted to just live the rest of her life out here on the ranch. Now she spends most of her time working with her two mares and occasionally nosing around into the kids’ business. One thing, is you ever hit one of the horses…Expect a nice gift the next morning, or a good whack in the gut with a crop. Margaret does not take kindly to people abusing her horses, and if you hit them she’ll hit you back.

Hobbies- join up, Riding, walking through the open property with her two mares, Counseling the kids that let her, hiking, and leather work.

Criminal Profiles

Name- Stella Twilight
Nickname/Alias- Star/ Stella, and many others (more profane)
Age- 17
Gender- female
Appearance- Stella
Personality- Stella is independent and strong willed. She is intelligent and clever as well as patient. Her lifestyle and upbringing have made her quite skilled at mind games and have made her a bit hard to others’ problems. She is unsympathetic and is usually more amused by others’ turmoil than bothered. She’s distant and spiteful at times, but under it all she’s hurt, and sad. it is unlikely that any one will get past her hard outer shell to see that though.
Brief History- Stella has been on the street since she was six. Her parents dumped her in a subway while on vacation to New York and no one realized the young girl was abandoned because she seemed to know what she was doing. Her whole life she was in and out of juvenile hall and group homes. The ones in her area were always so crowded that she wound up back on the street before long. She’d joined a street gang by the time she was 11, and at 15 took it over after injuring the prior leader in a fight. She favors knives over guns because they're silent and more easily hidden.
Stella is quite the thief and can get past almost any lock or barrier. She’s also good at making up stories to get herself out of trouble though if push comes to shove she will use force. Stella has very few qualms about anything, though she has a soft spot for young children and animals. She has been physically abused in the past although she’ll deny it ‘til her death. She never seems to be afraid, always keeps a strong face, even if she’s scared to death or in severe pain. She’s the type that could be mortally injured and not make a sound in pain. Because of this it’s nearly impossible to tell if something’s wrong unless you are really good at reading eyes.

Likes- Solitude, being top dog, making others cringe, being around animals, and walking long distances.
Dislikes- Being surrounded by others, being asked to read/write something, being cooped up, Being made to talk about what’s “bothering” her (i.e.: Psychologists), people who abuse animals.
Hobbies- Stealing, playing with knives, using street logic, drawing, running.
Why you’re here- Stella has been brought in for committing just about every crime under the sun except for anything dealing with drugs or prostitution. Also, she can’t read or write…it’s a bit of a sore spot.

Nickname/Alias- Ahmi

Appearance- Amberie
Personality- Amberie is a quiet girl since the accident. She’s not unfriendly however, nor is she mean or malicious. She often appears pensive or confused because she can’t remember what happened to her in the past two months. She other wise appears cheerful and is willing to be helpful to anyone. She just gets violent when asked to remember why she’s here, or when told she’s leaving.
Brief History- Amberie was born into a loving family where she was never mistreated. She grew up in suburbia, enjoying all the indoor entertainment and the closeness of the large movie theatres. She went to an average high school for just over a year before Trent’s death. Her parents hadn’t been overjoyed about their relationship, but supported her decision to have a boyfriend and were happy to have him over to dinner often. For Amberie life was good. Then one night a teenage gang, local to the area around her school tried to mug her and Trent while they were walking home. Trent was a big guy, Quarterback for the school’s football team, and fairly stupidly he tried to fight back. One of the smaller boys freaked and pulled a gun. He shot Trent in the left side of his chest, and hit Amberie in the thigh. She doesn’t remember anything after school that day, but after the first two shots she’d lunged forward, getting herself shot in the right side of the chest before getting the gun away from the boy and shooting three of the four boys that had remained there after the first shot. All she knows is that she blacked out, and then she was in Juvie, and now she’s here with bullet wounds in her leg and chest.

Name- Klein Lee
Nickname/Alias- Pyro or Kevin.
Age- 16
Gender- Female
Appearance-

She may not seem at all in love with fire with her gentle looks but as soon as the words pyro or fire comes to hearing distance she gets very fanatic about fire. She never likes to dress up and only wears what's confortable such as a pair of jeans and a loose t-shirt. At the very most you can see her wearing a pair of earrings and a few bracelets. She doesn't like make up at all. Vanity is a road to spending precious time.
Personality- She is odd but she is kind and listening at the right times. She is like a journal where you can tell whatever you feel like, for example, if you don't like someone, you can tell her and she'll never spill any information. Klein is a tomboy yet isn't overly caring about much aside from stereotypes. Her mood is very hard to describe. When she wakes up everyday, she can either be mad, depressed, glad, or just plain bored. Why? Some said it has to do with her mind. Most say that she's messed up in the head of course. And she does have a few problems from younger experiences.
Brief History- When she was younger she drank a small amount of sake which lead to issuses later on. But as she grew on, she got as smart as an average person, tall as a normal person, but got an addiction with fire at the first moment she saw it at a cermony at new years. Another odd thing was her mechanical skills of taking apart and putting stuff back. As well as other stuff as fixing many things. This made the parent's happy the child was special. Though as time went on, at school she joined a bunch of other pryomaniacs and were having fun setting small things such as wood on the pavement on fire. But one day it got out of hand as one dared another on what to set on fire. Klein was the first to get dared of setting a building on fire. A house with only a feeble old woman living in it as well as her child who helps her. Klein didn't know and started a fire in one of the rooms. As the flames spread throughout the house, the smoke silently killed both the old lady and her daughter. She was arresting for being near the house and exiting right before the smoke was visable. Everything else leads right up to the project of horses. This is her first time getting into real trouble such as this. Many pyschologist tried to understand her, but she was just a tad bit messed up in the head.

Dislikes- Being frightened, stereotypes, make up, over dressing, being vain, vain people, being touched (such as hugs or pokes), crowds, pictures, and art.
Hobbies- Destroying fragile things, setting off firecrackers and fireworks, setting things on fire, reading, as well as watching how things are like. (Like observing how they act.)
Why you’re here- Setting a building on fire, in other words, committing arson.
Other- She is addicted to fire as much as smokers are to cigarettes. You can't stop that well.



Name- Wayne Kris Gorda
Nickname/Alias- Kris
Age- 13
Gender- male
Appearance- Has short brown hair and brown eyes. He wares glasses and usually can be found with a hat on. Of moderate height for his age though most can't tell how tall he really is. This is because he is wheelchair bound. He was injured in an accident, conveniently the same accident that sent him to the home. He usually wears sleeveless shirts, though nothing to revealing.

Personality- Though he has been punished for what he 'supposedly' did, and now has lost the use of his legs. He usually can be seen trying to make other people happy. He can laugh easily, but can also slide into depressive thoughts with just as much ease. He usually will be daydreaming, or writing stories. It is his way of escaping reality, and all the pain that seems to reside there.
Brief History- Was raised in a good home. Was in very little trouble for most of his life, untill that day. Well, up to that day, he lived a rather normal life. He went to school, played with his friends and wrote stories. He wasn't very good at running, and hated gym class. He could do a decent job at physical activities, but didn't really excel at them either. He had few friends, mostly because few people really wanted to get to know him. His family never moved, but he still could never make many good friends. Teased at school, and lacking friends, the cops thought he went off the deep end when the 'incident' happened.

Why you’re here- Was in a store shopping, when a group of people came and held the place up. Was forced to help and was presumed to have been a part of the gang that held the place up. During the incident, the police came and a shooting happened. During the shooting, he was injured, paralyzing him from the waist down.
Other- Has a wheel chair and can't use his legs. Still has the bullet lodged in him. He is still getting use to the fact that he can't use his legs. Though, physically he is fully healed, he still holds many mental pains.

Kitchen
The door to the kitchen is kept locked at night and is only accessible during the day. There are video camera’s hidden inside just for security purposes.

The ”family room” is for teens to sit and chat or visit with the adults/ their counselors.


Beds look like this starting out. If you decorate it send me a picture with a PM, but decorating your room is a privilege awarded for good behavior.

BedroomsMINUS THE FRIDGE look like this and decorating is the same as above.

Each teen has their own Locker along the wall lining the hallway leading to the pool and stable. These are for towels, swimsuits, and your own riding gear (ie: helmets, gloves and/or breaches).

Amberie bounded down the stairs from her room, bright eyed and bushy tails as usual. She had a huge smile on her face as she went to the kitchen and looked around to see if Bryan was up yet.
