Formal title: Something different with this guild....
Honest to truth something is bothering me. I don't know what it is. I don't know whether it is the topics or the sudden arrival of new people. New people is great but it isn't the same feeling when I come in here. Usually I am excited about posting but gosh I don't know what it is. I feel dead inside. I'm seriously thinking about either just flooding this guild with my threads so at least there is familiarity but I don't want this guild becoming another spam guild. Or... just going to take some time off until things get better. Maybe it is the topics that bother me... Maybe I should just go back pages and bring back the good threads in hope there is a since of conversations. I don't know but whatever it is I just hope it goes away cry
Zathura Edit: Everyone seems to have noticed a problem, lets suggest some way to try and fix the problem. Can anyone think of a way to re-write the first page? I have noticed I have approved people and I haven't seen them ever again DESPITE the fact its says you have to contribute to the conversation....
Do you think a name change is in order? Try and downplay the Poll part? Because for some reason people can't seem to associate polls with conversations and only with spam (which doesn't make much sense, because polls and vote generally INVITE conversation) Maybe call ourselves PJ's Conversation (or something more clever) or should we do away with Poll Jumpers entirely? We would have to run that one past Cannibalistic Spork, although I know he wanted to change the name himself.

Hrm... well there certainly havn't been enough new topics lately. I keep running out of new polls. sad I wouldn't mind you making a bunch of threads, I don't think it's spam honestly.

I actually never took my test. I've always lived in a smaller town, or a really big one, and driving would have been pointless.

I've noticed as well. I've been avoiding the guild because of it, actually. Perhaps that's evil of me... But there are too many new people all at once, and they just don't seem as interesting as the old members. Ack! Ye gods, I've become a snob! redface
It only took one try for me to pass my driving test. However, I didn't bother to take it until I was 18 and had been driving with a learner's permit for 2 and 1/2 years. I didn't want to take it at all, because I didn't have a car, but my dad made me. Then he gave me a truck. So all was well with the world.

I donno, every so once in a while it goes into a down slope, and everything slows down for a bit. I guess what we could do is not approve new members for a while and then approve one or two here and there and a week or two from now. OR we could just cut off the guild from people entierly, and just approve members who are our friends outside of the guild, or people we encounter who we think is really cool. Mules would always be welcome of course. Thoughts?
If we closed off the guild then, asking for invites for other people could be posted in the Guidelines & News for Members thread.
A lot of people haven't been here because of exam time, and the weather is getting warmer, I know I have been out more.
I'm 23 and I have never even TRIED to get my license! I have a fear of traffic, and I get bad anixety attacks when I am in cars, so I couldn't be good at the wheel. I have problems even crossing the street. I have known several people who have been hit by cars and have nearly been hit far too many times myself, so I'm no a big fan of vehicals mad
