A light breeze blew in the big grassy plains, an oak tree scattered here and there, but the landscape was relatively simple. Atop the massive zoid, Kai's olive eyes gave the whole area a 360 degree look before hopping back into his Geno Breaker Jet. Firing up the zoid, he smirked and adjusted some switches. The zoid's thruster pack light up in a blazing fury, lifting the zoid from the grassy terrain. Sighing, Kai glanced over at his radar, nobody nearby. Shrugging he patted the controls as the GBJ growled lowly.::
I know, I know, we'll find something soon.

A soft rumble emitted from the Gun Tiger and Faith's green eyes shifted towards the radar, someone was near. Perhaps they would be her savior from the monotony of the day. "Looks like we might be in for some entertainment after all eh buddy?" She grinned as the Gun Tiger growled again took off towards Kai and the Geno Breaker Jet.

::His interest sparked, and the GBJ roared as the Gun Tiger came into sight. Kai opened up a quick com-link to make sure everything was officially recorded by the ZBC, he didn't wanna go without pay.::
This is Kai Jirachi, and I hereby challenge you to a battle, mode 0992... do you accept?
::This was a "no duh" question as the zoid was already charging towards the considerably larger GBJ, but he had to ask anyways. Sighing, Kai began to push back on the controls, propelling the Jet through the air backwards via its thruster pack.::

Nearing the GBJ the Gun Tiger settled into a playful stance, his tail swishing behind it. Faith gave a fond roll of her eyes, her Gun Tiger was the most playfull Zoid she had met. This GBJ was out of her league, her every instinct told her so, but who was she to back down from a challenge that her partner had already so readily accepted. Checking her controls she nodded, "This is Faith Allen, and I'll accept your challenge."

::Kai chuckled lightly at the playful antics of the Gun Tiger. The Jet had no values for kindness or mercy, quite the contrary to his pilot, and simply gave another heart-stopping roar, before lowering its head, goring-spike at the ready. With a nod, Kai gave a smile across the com.::
Well then, good luck Ms. Allen, and lets have some fun.
::With a big grin, he closed the com, and thrust the zoid backwards in flight, while charging up the SCPG. As the particles collected, the GBJ's mouth opened, revealing the metal-zi razor sharp teeth. A few moments later a huge, supercharged beam of particles was sent tearing through the air in the direction of the Gun Tiger. Kai was looking for the kill already.::

The Gun Tiger was blasted backwards rolling once and dropping to the ground. "What the?" Faith was thrown forward in her seat and shivering she urged her Gun Tiger back to his feet, "What have we gotten ourselves into boyo." She managed through gritted teeth, that was one hell of a Zoid Kai had. Without another word she sent the Gun Tiger charging to the left skidding side ways as the concealed cannons on the Gun Tiger's back raised upwards. Flipping a switch she pressed aimed and fired them at the powerful zoid and its Pilot, "We're going to need a miracle..."

::The shot directly landed on the sturdy armor of the Jet, sending it back a few feet, but causing no damage. The strength of the zoid was practically unparalleled. With a chuckle, Kai lowered the zoid to the ground and sent itself charging over 500 km/h directly at the Gun Tiger. With a grin, he fired the Grappling Hook Arms, knowing that if they made contact a pure voltage of electricity would be sent throughout the undersized Gun Tiger.::

Faith shuddered as she felt her precious Gun Tiger sag and fall limp to the ground the controls completely frozen. She stared completely at a loss for words, this Zoid was unlike anything she had encountered before. She had made a direct hit with the Concealed Cannon and it hadn't even scratched the Zoid.
"Congratulations Kai...That was one heck of the battle." Her hand gripped the controls tightly, as if her hold on them would soothe the damaged Zoid. "You did good boyo, nothing to be ashamed about."

::Kai smiled, humbly giving the "V" for victory sign, a bashful air around the man as he brought the Jet back towards the downed Gun Tiger.::
Thank you for the battle Miss Allen. To tell you the truth you've lasted the longest out of all my oponents.
::He sighed, closing his eyes and smiling, embaressed for the damage and destruction his zoid inflicted on its opponents. Thankfully for Kai's opponents, Kai wasn't a megalomaniac, nor a sociopath, and did not abuse the powers of the GBJ. With a sigh, he readdressed the girl.::
I could give you a ride back into town, I'm pretty sure I could carry the Gun Tiger with the GBJ...

Her pride yelled at her to reject his offer, she could find her own way to town, after all she was the daughter of a mechanic...But in the end common sense won out, he had won fairly and there was no denying that. So despite the shame she felt in her own personal abilities she keyed the comlink, her voice rang out calmer than she felt, "Well at least I've got that to brag about eh Kai. I would greatly appreciate a ride back, I'm not so sure we would make it in our current position." Besides it was obvious that this boy was a skilled pilot, maybe she could pick up a few pointers from him.
