Because I totally just called into work sick just now. And im totally not sick. And my boss was all "we reeeaaaallly need you... are you absolutley positive you cant come in" and I was all "... ninja yes..."
D: I mean its a saturday, and everyone else is working, and the whole staff never comes in on saturday so why should it be different this week?
And i've never called in sick before and I've worked there for 6months...And even before that I've NEVER in my life called out of any job sick. Even when I had an ear infection and was bleeding out of my ear, I still went to work.
AND Buzz and my best friend made me do it! gonk PEER PRESSURE PWNS ME.
MMkay so to make this topic not all about me... Do you ever fake sick? Do you fake for school but not for work? (like I do XD) Do you do it lots? Do you feel guilty about it? Etc.

i don't call out sick, i'll work when i'm sick but i refuse to sit through class when i'm sick.
I don't do extra when i'm sick though. Like not hanging with friends. instead i sleep... which makes me feel guilty. But you had a choice, and you made it. Stick with it, its all good.

Well...My mom is cool, so sometimes she'll just let me and my brother stay home.She'll also write me notes for gym so I don't have to do it.
I'm special...But half the time, even if i'm sick.I'm forced to go.Longest i've been away from school was in grade four.Four years ago, I had to go to the hospital to get tubes put in my ear.Now i'm forced to wear hoods in cold weather when outside to cover my ear.
But, my parents are cool.

At one of my jobs, if you gave less than 24 hours notice when you were sick, they'd suspend you for a week. So one day, I realised I was far too sick to work, and I was sick and tired of being suspended. So I went in sick, sneezed all over everything, then went and told my manager she could shove the 24 hour rule up her a**, and quit.
I had things called 'Mental Health Days' at school. If I was feeling depressed, particularly lazy, or under the weather, I could just shou 'Mental health day' and take the day off. But if I took too many off, my parents'd yell at me about responsibility. I only took about 50 in my school life, but it worked well.

Because you know you'll be sick 24 hours ahead of time rolleyes Yay for quitting icky jobs ^-^ People call out at payless all the time, theres not policy against it.
And I got over feeling bad, because I decided to go in around 5 and work the rest of the day and help close. They wouldnt need me before 5 anyways, because there would be 5 people there without me @___@ We usually only have 3 at a time. It would have been 6 if I went. But then I realized that its saturday, and my boss sends the timesheets in around noon, and puts on the timesheets the hours your supossed to work for that day. So if I went in at 5 I wouldnt be able to get paid because payroll is already done for that week. So now im all not guilty feeling because I -was- going to be good and fix it, but unfortunately I cant, and its the thought that counts, right? Besides, after for 4 years of working (not at payless the whole time >.>) and never taking a sick day, its about time I took one.
