Dragon's Element: Air

Egg needs: In a misty, foliage covered setting much like the rainforests it comes from.

Egg size: Tiny egg. 1ft, 10lbs.

Dragon ages:
    1.Wrymling
Capabilities: Instinctive fighting, Skills-Low, Spells-None, Solo flying
    2.Juvenile
    Capabilities: Basic fighting, Skills-Low, Spells-Low, Flying passenger:1
    3.Adolecent
Capabilities: Advanced fighting, Skills-Moderate, Spells-Moderate, Flying passenger: 3

    5. Ancient
Capabilities: Expert fighting, Skills-Expert, Spells-Expert, Flying Passenger: 7
    6. Great Wyrm
    Capabilities: ???

Fighting style:
The amphitire is much like a snake in it's fighting style. It starts by getting the higher group through flight, then, using gravity to it's advantage drops headfirst onto it's opponent. If it gets lucky, it's open mouth and sharp teeth manage to get a good hold on the opponent. With that, it coils, trying to suffocate it's victim.

Skills:
  • Coil - The dragon wraps its body around the opponent, constricting its airflow, much like the well known snake the python. If the dragon can keep its hold long enough, the foe will faint, and following that suffocation. However, this leaves the dragon at risk for being damaged, itself.
    Damage: High
    Defence: Low
    Speed: NA
  • Snap/Strike - The dragon quickly bites the opponent, doing damage with its teeth. This attack is commonly seen in dragons without much biting power, used to quickly harm the opponent, then release so that no damage can be done in return.
    Damage: Moderate
    Defence: Moderate
    Speed: High
  • Dazzle - The dragon uses its bright colors to breifly stun the opponent, often using the suns rays to reflect bright colors and offer a blinding effect. However, some dragons may simply be captivated by pretty things.
    Damage: NA
    Defence: High
    Speed: Moderate
  • Plummet - The dragon drops from a high point, ramming the opponent with its full weight. This attack is a last resort, however, because it holds high risk of damaging the user.
    Damage: High
    Defence: Low
    Speed: High
    +Damages self.

Spells:
  • Call Lightning - The dragon summons a lightning storm, taking tremendous amounts of concentration to direct where the lightning strikes. A lightning storm can produce dozens of bolts.
    Skill Level: Expert
    Damage: High
  • Lightning Bolt - A single bolt is summoned by the dragon using the electricity existing in the air, and strikes the opponent.
    Skill Level: High
    Damage: High
  • Shoot lightning - The dragon shoots a ball of electricity from its mouth, using the humidity within the oral cavity to produce smaller shocks.
    Skill Level: Moderate
    Damage: Moderate
  • Storm - The dragon summons a rain storm, this doesn't do much damage but it can provide a good cover for escape, it also may slow the dragons, and theres a slim chance that it could produce lighting. However, there is no control of where this lightning goes.
    Skill Level: Moderate
    Damage: Low
+If raining, other lightning spells become easier to cast.
  • Wind - The dragon produces large gusts of wind, magically empowering its wings to produce massive quantities of gusts. This could easily knock down the other dragon, which depending on terrain could cause harm or not.
    Skill Level: Low
    Damage: Low
  • Tornado - An extremely difficult spell to cast, its power is unbeatable, a dragon who can't control this spell will create a natural disaster, and the tornado will have to run its cource before dispursing.
    Skill Level: Expert
    Damage: Destructive
  • Fog - The dragon summons a dense fog, shrouding it from sight giving it time to escape. This spell does nothing but allow fast and easy escape.
    Skill Level: Moderate
    Damage: None
    +Evasion Spell

General Attitude:
A neutral sort of dragon, it's personality is highly influenced by the child that bonds with it. It tends to mostly want to take care of itself, not worrying about attacking nor saving others.
The amhithere in particular is the vainest of dragons. With it's wonderfully colored and unique plumage. It spends a lot of it's time grooming and primping them.

Likes:
  • Humidity
  • Colorful things
  • Rubies and emeralds in particular.
  • Gems in general
  • Gold
  • grooming
  • Pretty things
  • Compliments

Dislikes:
  • Cold
  • Dry
  • being in water (feather's get too heavy to fly)
  • Diamonds (Too dull)
  • Mud and dirt
  • Mites (since they have feathers they can get them easier)
  • Things more prettier than them

Environment:
Amphiteres take residence in hot humid jungles, far out of the way of human civilization, they take advantage of the rich and colorful environment, full of exotic (and often dangerous) creatures. They've been known to occasionally help out a small tribe or two, in return for riches, or other payments, but otherwise are rarely seen.

Sub-Races:
South American Amphithere
Common Amphithere

Kids with Amphiteres:

Egg size:Tiny egg. 1ft, 10lbs.

Dragon ages:
    1.Wrymling
Capabilities: Instinctive fighting, Skills-Low, Spells-None, Solo flying
    2.Juvenile
    Capabilities: Basic fighting, Skills-Low, Spells-Low, Flying passenger:1
    3.Adolecent
Capabilities: Advanced fighting, Skills-Moderate, Spells-Moderate, Flying passenger: 3
    4.Adult
Capabilities: Expert fighting, Skills-High, Spells-High, Flying Passenger: 5
    5. Ancient
Capabilities: Expert fighting, Skills-Expert, Spells-Expert, Flying Passenger: 7
    6. Great Wyrm
    Capabilities: ???

Fighting style:
Relies heavily on magic, and intellect. Their first option is to outsmart their opponent, usually that's how they'll do it, depending on the Dragon they may even opt for a game of chess to decide a victor, rather than a full out fight. Of course, this level varies from Asian Lung to Asian Lung. Then, when actually engaged in a fight, they'll spend the most of it casting a spell related to their element, hoping to knock the opponent down as quickly as possible. When magic runs out, and retreating is not an option, they'll result to coiling the best they can. (Though they might combine a coil and a spell, coil then burst into flames, and whatnot)

Skills:
  • Literacy - The asian lung is said to be the dragon that introduced humans to the art of writing, and as such has the most knowledge of literacy.
    Noncombat.
  • Toe Regeneration - The lung has the ability to regrow any lost toes.
    Nonecombat.
  • Revive - Asian lungs have a sphere, a ball of energy, that can revive one from the dead. However, its unknown how this ability works, and therefore is just assumed to be a myth at the moment.
    Noncombat
    +Fictional
  • Coil - The dragon wraps its body around the opponent, constricting its airflow, much like the well known snake the python. If the dragon can keep its hold long enough, the foe will faint, and following that suffocation. However, this leaves the dragon at risk for being damaged, itself.
    Damage: Moderate
    Defence: Low
    Speed: NA
  • Bite - The dragon uses its teeth to bite an opponent, this can be either a singlestrike or a bite and hold.
    Damage: Moderate
    Defence: Low
    Speed: Moderate
  • Claw - The dragon uses its claws to scratch the opponent.
    Damage: Low
    Defence: Moderate
    Speed Moderate

Spells:
Spells are usually related to their element, so "element neutral" terms will be given for spells, and just fill in their element at the start to make sense of it.
  • Weather Divination - Asian lungs are said to be able to predict, and control the weather. Often times, asian lungs can be the cause of storms, floods, and more if they're emotionally upset. The weather seems to respond to them instinctively.
    Skill Level: Low
    Damage: Low
  • Manipulate Element - The Asian lung comes in many different elements, a dragon of all trades you might say... Each has the ability to manipulate its own element.
    Fire:
    Ice:
Air: Shoot lightning - The dragon shoots a ball of electricity from its mouth, using the humidity within the oral cavity to produce smaller shocks.
    Earth:
    Water:
    Skill Level: Moderate
    Damage: Moderate
  • Create Element - Again the asian lungs diverse range of elements allows it to create their own elements, depending on which dragontype is using it.
    Fire:
    Ice:
Air: Lightning Bolt - A single bolt is summoned by the dragon using the electricity existing in the air, and strikes the opponent.
    Earth:
    Water:
    Skill Level: High
    Damage: High
  • Levitation - This skill can be used from birth, asian lungs have the ability to "float" without physical aid. This is due to their high magical abilities.
    Skill Level: Birth
    Damage: None
  • Master Element - When an asian lung reaches maturity, it can do any known spell relating to its element. Asian lungs are highly magical dragons, not doing too well with physical combat, but excelling in magic.
(You can use any spell from the other dragons of the same element.)
    Skill Level: Expert
    Damage: Destructive

General Attitude:
Usually a very wise, and kind dragon, they're the most known for helping humans, and are even supposed to be the reason humans had learned to read and write.
Occasionally, you'll get a "black sheep" of the bunch and the exact opposite case will ensue.

  • Books
  • Ancient scrolls
  • Magic
  • Things of their element

Dislikes:
  • The number 4.
  • Their opposing element
  • Illiteracy
  • Poverty
  • Barbaric Means
  • Injustice (usually)

Environment:
Usually foreign to the central part of Gaia, Asian Lungs can settle just about anywhere depending on their elemental type. Chinese Fireballs will rest in volcanoes, and a Seriyuu will take habit under the water.

Sub-Races:
Chinese Fireball (Fire); Your typical lung, the kind most often associated with Lore.

    5. Ancient
Capabilities: Expert fighting, Skills-Expert, Spells-Expert, Flying Passenger: 7
    6. Great Wyrm
    Capabilities: ???

Fighting style:
Taking advantage of their dark coloring they like to sink down into the marsh or bog that they've taken residence in, and ambush whomever crosses their path, then resubmerging back out of sight to ambush again... and again. Usually they'll keep themselves hidden, and when outmatched or fairing poorly, they'll retreat into the air and leave little to no trail to take hide in the next spot they can find (whether it be trees or another marsh.)

  • Underwater Breathing -
  • Distinct Camoflauge
  • Stealth
  • Can shut Nostrils
  • Spit Acid
  • Acid Immunity

Spells:
  • Corrupt Water
  • Plant Growth
  • Charm Reptiles

General Attitude:
Black dragons are generally malicious, hateful creatures, as well as bieng cunning and crafty. Their stance on humans is mostly that: If you see one, see if it has any coins... If it does, kill it and take the coins. If it doesn't, find out where there are coins, then kill it.
There has not been a case where a black dragon has not considered itself first, or consider anyone else. More so, it's clever enough to think "How will this person benefit me?" and react accordingly.

Likes:
  • Dark
  • Damp
  • Rotting meat
  • Coins
  • Fish
  • Mollusks
  • Successful Ambushes
  • Mud Wallowing

Dislikes:

Environment:
Like to set up damp, grotesque rotting swamps. Collecting meat, and then letting it rot within their swamp waters, adding a fowl oder to the air. Due to the fact they can actually breath underwater they usually just lay down at the edge of their marsh and wallow.
Because of their environment, they usually smell of rotting vegetation and foul water.

:Brass Dragon:

Dragon's Element: Fire

Egg needs:Must be kept in an open flame or at temps of at least 140 degrees.

Egg size:Tiny egg. 1ft, 10lbs.

Dragon ages:
    1.Wrymling
    2.Juvenile
    3.Adolecent
    4.Adult
    5. Ancient
    6. Great Wyrm

Fighting style:
Brass dragons prefer to talk over fighting (Ignoring that they'd rather talk than just about anything.) If they can not convince their opponent to compromise, or outsmart them with words (Riddles and the like), then they won't hesitate to use a sleep spell, and then their opponent may wake up to find themselves skillfully subdued and forced to listen to the Brass until it feels satisfied.
If these are not options, and escapes such as sleep are ruled out, then the dragon will use it's agile movements and speed to either get away. Fighting is a last resort.

Skills:
  • Immunity to fire
  • Nature's Language
  • Vulnerable to Cold
  • Torch
  • Bluff
  • Weave words
  • Gather Information

Spells:
  • Control winds
  • Summon Djinni
  • Suggestion/Influence
  • Sleep

General Attitude:
Usually humble, Brass dragons are peaceful and used to working out compromises and so on... Up until the issue of conversation. They feel that if someone were not to hear their great knowledge, then it would be a travesty on the person. So their long rambling speeches are often "to benefit" the person forced to listen. If they refuse, or try to leave, the Brass may use a spell or even put the person to sleep to make them stay.

Likes:
  • Talking

  • Warm
  • dry
  • Talking
  • Sunlight
  • Humility
  • Have I mentioned Talking?

  • Speeches
  • Word games

Dislikes:
  • Other brass dragons
  • Cold
  • wet
  • Blue dragons
  • Ego
  • Being ignored
  • Ignorance

Environment:
Brass live in the hottest environments possible, and in turn Cold can actually hurt them, staying out in arid deserts often taking home in high rocky caves, preferably where the sun can rise on them and warm the rocks. They live in a delicate balance with the desert world around them, keeping to minimal consumption, drinking the dew that gathers overnight, and gathering oddly textile pieces of wood, and other rare things found in nature.

:Bronze Dragon:

Dragon's Element: Water

Egg needs:Must be immersed in the sea or ocean or someplace where the tidewaters flow over it at least twice a day

Egg size: Small egg. 2ft, 20lbs

Dragon ages:
    1.Wrymling
    2.Juvenile
    3.Adolecent
    4.Adult
    5. Ancient
    6. Great Wyrm

Fighting style:
Bronze dragons dislike killing, and would rather bribe with food, or something else, and then escape the situation. They believe in a "live and let live" sense, under most cases. If bribery fails, they may try to force them off with a spell or some other passive method.

When provoked to fight, they often use some form of mind reading spell to figure their opponents move, and then use a fog cloud spell to blind their opponent and attack at full force, in a torrent of both physical damage, using teeth claws, and their ability to fly and swim to drag their opponent underwater or into the air, and so on.

Skills:
  • Immunity to electricity
  • Water Breathing
  • Nature's language

Spells:
  • Shape shifting
  • Summon storm
  • Create food and water
  • summon fog
  • Manipulate water
  • Telepathy

General Attitude:
Bronze dragons have a strong sense of justice, and are particularly known for not handling any sort of cruelty or anarchy. They'll fight for said justice, if needed, but mostly they like to sit back and observe their surroundings, keeping company of humans, while often taking the shape of one to keep their companions at ease. A generally laid back, and helpful dragon.
However they also have a distinctly protective nature, and will fight to the death for something they love, typically their life-mate or offspring.

Likes:
  • Deep fresh or salt water
  • Justice
  • Warfare
  • Shark meat
  • Pearls
  • Rare coral
  • Amber

  • Killing anything they don't plan to eat
  • Robbers
  • Injustice
  • Evil
  • Dry climates
  • Cheating
  • Pirates
  • Threatening of loved ones

Environment:
Bronze dragons usually live off the coast, in the hills near salt or fresh water in which they can spend their time diving into the depths to explore, and scavenge for food.
Bronze are also avid shape shifters, taking the forms of animals or even humans and residing where appropriate.
