The daytime sky was clear and the brightest blue that Fionavar had ever seen, the clouds from the rain the day before completely disappated in the empty atmosphere. The hills, mountains and valleys all shone brightly in their beautiful brilliance, allowing the plantlife to green in the sunlight and the animals to frolic about their daily business. One such creature slid back and forth in the high grasses of a small meadow between two clearings. She wasn't far from her little hut of a home which was hidden in the trunk of a large oak (magic had made it for her), and she had set out originally to look for plants to heal but instead had become distracted.
Following the storm of the night before, the wildflowers had burst into bloom. Fionavar was captivated, sitting in the tall grass and plucking flowers from above, beside and below herself. Her dark skin stuck out like a sore thumb amongst all the green, but her pink coat almost melted amongst all the petals. The faun ran a hand through her pink tresses, smiling at the bright sun above her before burying her nose in her bouquet. The land was vast and the few fauns and satyrs that had been born could not cover all of it's hidden features, and so Fiona was lonely. The last of her kind she had spoken to was before she left the nursing fields to find her own home, and that had been weeks ago. Sighing softly, she lay back against the grass to stare at the vast ocean of blue above her. Never mind the sad bite of loneliness, today would be a good day.

Morrigan had been wandering around the woods. She wasn't really doing anything other then keeping herself more occupied. The more mischevious faun, pulled a few pinecones from the ground with a smirk on her. It was a nice day today, the storm from the night before left the air and everything clean and fresh. She was gathering things for little tricks when she heard something behind her. She glanced over her shoulder with her green eyes to a figure of a large dog.
"Mm?" Morrigan questioned. It was Arun. A wild male Faolan, he nuzzled into Morrigans' leg some before. "Well aren't we the affectionate one today." she stated planly.
"Well its nice to see you too Morrigan. It was a long night last night." Arun stretched out.
"Someone's showing a little weakness" The faun teased.
"You will fall silent -now- " The male snapped back at her. Morrigan narrowed her eyes at him before she wandered down the path.

Fiona's ears perked immediately as she heard - as well as felt the vibrations of - another figure coming her direction. She sat up, her bouquet still held tightly in one hand as she leapt to her feet in one smooth motion and looked about her. There, at the edge of the clearing and in the woods, she could barely make out colours that didn't belong there. Striding in that direction carefully, her brow furrowed. It was a strange faun. She hadn't seen one like this of yet, with bat-like wings coming from her head and back. A Faolan followed her, that much she did recognize.
Atlast throwing caution to the wind, she trusted Valesar to protect her should the need arise and she called out, "Hallo!" Waving the bouquet almost as a beacon of welcome, a smile spread across her lips as she drew closer, stopping at a respectable distance.

Her head tilted as she cmae out from the woods. She wasn't expecting anyone to be inthe area. but it had been a long time since she actaully ventured. She waved back over to the one that called out to here. "Hello!" She returned. She knew it would be in her best itnerest to make some friends. She never stayed to long in one area.
Arun, as pompous as he can be, was a catious creature. The smell of 'evil' was distinct to him. But not smelling anything menacing comming from the stranger he padded along aside Morrigan, picking little fights with her as they moved along.
She stood far enough from the darker skinned female, but close enough that they didn't have to yell. She tried her bed to look confident. standing stright yup. "I'm a little new to the area, I'm sorry if I startled you."
( I'm not to sure how you have them set up, meaning who lives where and with who, so I'm letting morrigan as a bit of a floater. and once i better hang of it, my posts will be better X.x )

Fiona was anything but menacing. She'd grown up by the temple in the presence of her mother and the influence had left her cheerful and endearing. Tucking a stray strand of pink hair behind a stretched ear, her smile broadened as she shifted her weight from one foot to another before speaking again, "Oh, hardly. I heard you coming, but I hadn't expected to see anyone. Not many people venture this far from the temple, I just figured that I would find a good place to set up a home before all the good places were taken up." She ran her fingers over the flowers with her opposite hand, hesitating before asking, "Do you live around here, also?"
[ it's about like that. they set up homes where they want to, using magic to make them out of trees or twigs or caves. some just wander and spend their nights under large firs and stuff like that. the only set structure is a temple where valesar and t'sar reside and where the non-bred eggs are kept, meaning eggs that were begot by valesar and not by two living Children ]

(*back reads* >.> I can really spell! XD)
"No, I don't actaully. I don't have a set home, I wonder around mostly. I've never been to comfortable staying in one place." She laughed a little. It was usually her own fault, because of her more mischevious behavoir. "So the Temple is near by?" The purple legs faun took a step forward, the bats on her legs flexed with her muscles. "It's been a long time since I saw mother..." She mumbles some, talking about Valesar. She had a feeling she must have gotten on her fathers nerves alot. The folan murred a little taking a step forward as if to introduce himself. He sat down listening to the conversation. He was a bit restless and pawed at the ground. his maroon fur shifted in the wind and he let out a yawn.

"Ah, a wanderer." She smiled gently, glancing at the Faolan and gave him a tiny wave of her fingers as a greeting to accompany a deep nod. All animals deserved the same respect divulged onto her brethren - after all, they all came from the same temple at one point or another. Her pink coat quivered over her bunched muscles as she shifted her weight once again, nodding quickly, "Aye, the temple is not too far off. A good distance to the southeast, perhaps a day's travel depending on how fast one walks." For a moment she marveled discreetly at the other faun's markings, noticing how rather than being simple decorated swirls like her own that they were detailed silhouettes of bats. The colouring did not surprise her, as her own coat was an obscure shade of pink that only the flowers growing in the meadow had yet to match and even then they were few.
Speaking both to the faun and the Faolan, she blushed lightly though it was hardly noticeable against her dark skin, "Sorry - I'm Fionavar, by the way. You may call me Fiona."

Arun watched the faun and then he nodded up some in respect for her. He sniffed the air again and then murred a little listening to the conversation. He pondered if is finiky fuan friend would go home or not. He wouldn't have minded the company heading that way.
Morrigan nodded some and she smiles "I'm Morrigan, it's nice to meet you." She eyed the other again. what was she thinking? Stretching out she sighed a little and looked off into the distance. A days travel back to the temple. "Do you live near the temple?" She asked Fiona moving her eyes back to her face. Might be nice to show back up in town with someone she knew, so to speak. Having someone on her side was alwaysa good idea. She did tend to get herself into trouble.
