Down one of the less traveled streets along the mall area near the Nest, the Petal stood, the quiet bar waiting in the middle of the night. Waiting because within, at the booths, at the counter... there was no one.
Well, no one except the bartender of course. He was always there, it seemed.

Gazali stepped in, frowning and pushing his glasses further up his nose as he looked around. He was confused, and somewhat nervous, thinkin the Alliance may be some Family he did wrong by at some point. The place was empty. His frown deepened as he shut the door, and his eyes landed on Seishirou. Oh, it was him. This made more sense...sort of.
He moved over, burying his hands in his pockets and fingering the note, "You're behind this then?"

Seishirou smiled slightly. "In a manner of speaking. I suggested you as a possible candidate for the Alliance, and once it was confirmed that you might be someone we should speak to, I was given the task of presenting the Alliance to you so that you might join us. If you'd rather speak to another member, that can be arranged as well, of course, Gazali-san. But I thought we might have a drink and discuss the proposition before you."

"Talking to you is just fine," Gazali stopped infront of him, still frowning, "I'm just a little confused by how this came about. One second I'm spending quality time with my nephew, the next I have this letter in my hand," he did seem somewhat intrigued though, "So, that drink sounds pretty good."
((That 'The Long and Short of it' is a good idea O.o Do you mind if I do something similar...for my memories sake mostly XD))

((xD Go ahead.))
"Have a seat-- and what would you like to drink, Gazali-san?" the angel asked, pulling out a glass for the demon. "We have a wide variety here.
"And as for the letter... it's a bit magic-ed, if you hadn't guessed as much. There are members of the Alliance with the ability to manipulate objects and send them where they need to be."

((Thanks <3))
"Something fairly strong, I think," Gazali said, sitting and getting comfortable. "Magic of any sort irks me..." he chuckled, shrugging, "What is this 'Alliance' anyway?"

((xD NP~))
Nodding and pouring Gazali a drink, Seishirou set it down in front of the demon. "The Alliance is basically a group of talented individuals who are coming together in an attempt to protect themselves and those they care for. After all, there are quite a few who would seek to harm others in this world-- and there are quite a few who end up in more trouble than they deserve. As a result, the Alliance is simply... bringing together different individuals and setting up something of a system where if one is attacked, the rest will help that one with their problem."

"Thank you," Gazali lifted his glass and took a sip, "Sounds...interesting. That's all there is to it?" Well, it seemed like it could only benefit him. And there didn't seem to be any harm in agreeing. But if there was one thing he learnt, it was to not jump before he knew where he'd land.

"Yes, that's all there is to it," Seishirou nodded. "Just an agreement to come to each other's aid should it ever prove necessary."

"Well, I see no disadvantages in saying yes," Gazali took another sip, frowning again. Going to the aid of people he didn't know? Yeah, he could do that. Having them come to HIS aid? Sure, fine. But what was the catch? "What do I do then?"

"You simply need to fill out a contract," Seishirou nodded slightly, producing a paper from under the counter. "Do you have a pen?"
Contract I, _____________ (print your name here), hereby do agree to join the Alliance. I understand that this entails that should any misfortune befall a member of the Alliance, I am to come to their aid-- should any misfortune befall myself, the Alliance shall be there to come to mine. Signed: _______________, Date: ______________

Gazali read it over, and pulled out a pen, smirking, "Not magiced, is it?" he asked, clicking the pen open and quickly skimming over the short contract.

Hm. Magic. He didn't like that. But, he lifted the pen and signed the contract anyway, before putting it away again. "Alright."

Taking the contract and placing it inside a case-- also magicked, of course-- Seishirou smiled. "You have something against magic, Gazali-san?"
