I mean Godmoding, not Goodmoding.

Godmoding is when you have a character, or do an action, that is so strong/omnipotent, that no mater what your opponent might do, they are still dead.

This is very similar to auto-hitting. Godmoding cam also be the reverse of auto-hitting, no I don't mean auto-missing, but more of dodging/countering everything, and not getting hurt by anything.

Godmoding can also be when your character does an action that he would not be able to do.

EX: War is blinded by Opponents blast of light. Not being able to see he slashes out at Opponent with deadly accuracy, using his sense of smell to find him.

Well, unless War just got a really good sense of smell, then I think he is just swinging blindly. Maybe if he said he listened for Opponent to move and then attacks in that direction, maybe. If War had trained in the art of blind fighting, as in normally fights with a blind fold on, he could then explain hitting someone while being blinded, by using his sense of hearing.

Ooh, ooh, I have another good example.

Username1
"Steve madly rushed at Bob. He drew his sword, hearing the "c***k!" of metal on metal as it rubbed against the scabbard. As the sword came out of the sheath, he pointed it directly ahead of him. He lunged at Bob with uncanny speed and impaled his chest upon his sword before Bob could even react."

How is it godmoding, you ask? Username1 didn't give Bob's controller a chance to react to his attack. Though Username1 could feasibly do such a thing as stab Bob, Bob would probably react if he saw Steve start to rush towards him.

More on this subject. I have had this one for a while, and forgot to post it here. sweatdrop

I found this somewhere else on Gaia. These are the definitions of the different god-moding abilities.

Quote:
Anti-Munch Project
The people who never miss a single shot no matter how hard it is (Aimbotters).
The people who can't be hit or just shrug it off (god-moders).
The people who have absurdly strong powers (twinks).
The people who 'balance' thier characters by having a massive but irrelevant weakness and massive powers (min-maxers).
The people who use Out Of Character knowledge to get an edge (Miss Cleos).
The people who do things in hindsight (McFlys).
The people who RP other people's characters for them (Puppetmasters).
The people who RP completely irrelevant things (Daydreamers).
The people who RP actions and time against others while the others aren't presant (Shoe elves).
The people who ignore or alter RPs that they don't like (Revisionists).
The people who RP an absurdly time consuming sequence occuring between other people's actions (Speedhackers).
The people who play as characters that are completely impossible (Oxymorons).
The people who arbitrarily declare themselves the winner with instant death attacks (Baghdad Bobbits).
The people who've taken actions before they start RPing (Gaseous Snakes).
The people who alter thier character as needed for the situation (Zoicite).
The people who gain abilities as they need them with no prior exposure (Trinities).
The people who pick-up things that spawn from seemingly nowhere (Quakers).

Note that these are just stereotypes. I have seen a few of each that demonstrated a good character that were both functional and easy to Role Play with. These are all just opinions, but are generalized for the majority of that type of character.
