And, if people don't mind, anyone who is an "old" poster is encouraged to also say something about themselves, so that any new or potential posters can know something about all of the awesome people that they will be talking with in here!

I'm female, 24, married, and I've been on Gaia for a couple years. I'm the Pro-Choice Mod for this SubForum.
I like books, movies, anime, animals, video games, cannabis, and LOVE debating. And cheese. I love cheese.

Wonderful! I was just thinking today that I should make a thread like this, now the job is done for me.
Glad to see you're being pro-active (no pun intended XD) and don't worry about whether or not you can or can't do something, like make a thread a sticky. If there gets to be too many stickies I may weed some down, however for now it's not a huge issue. I trust your judgement.

I'm Rinaqa (now Seeing the Kraken) and I've been on Gaia for three years.
I'm now eighteen, started pro-life and became pro-choice about a year back, although I'm still technically pro-life personally. Female, English, at college and I think in the USA I'd be a senior in high school, since my next stop is university! : D
My interests are dancing, reading, talking and generally making things interesting. I game in my spare time but there's not much of it right now. I also play double bass. : D

Hello! I am a member of both the pro-life and pro-choice guilds.
I have to say certain arguments of both appeal to me and i'm still deliberating in my head as to what I truly believe.
My name is Samantha, I am 20 years old and I study philosophy and currently law at the university of hull. I am originally from bradford .
I'm a gamer and play many video games. I also play warhammer 40k.
I enjoy debating with people and really love politics. I adore the law course I'm currently doing alongside my philosophy, which this year is political philosophy! ^_^ I'm hoping to get into politics as soon as I can and I'm currently working on a manifesto for education and the legal system in the event that my political career goes as well as I hope.

Hello everyone! I'm Jessica and I'm a member of the choice guild. I consider myself to be politically pro-choice and personally pro-life.
I'm 18 years old and live in Scottsdale, AZ. I'm a senior in high school and am getting ready to head off to college majoring in 3D animation. wink
I love art and drawing it's been a hobby of mine since I was able to hold a pencil. So if anyone wants some chibi avatar art just PM! 4laugh I think I'll be nice and make it free for guild members. ^^

He said that he went into Manzanita once and got AIDS/stupid inside joke. He's over at Sonora way down south which is usually where I'm hanging out at after school. I'm going to Desert Mountain High right now and EVIT (East Valley Institute of Tech.) which just happens to be down Apache and Longmore so it's easy to get to ASU from there...well once I dodge all the psycho construction going on down Apache. Stupid light rail! xp

I'm Samm I've been on Gaia since June '03 and I've been pro-choice since I was 10. >< I'm personally undecided on my stance, if I would or wouldn't be able to handle the abortion procedure, but I don't believe that my opinion should affect the rights of others. ^^ I live in Canada. I believe in Gay pride, AIDs awareness, and equity among the sexes among other things. I believe that every woman should have the resources to terminate a pregnancy should she find herself incapable of becoming a mother and does not wish to give a child up for adoption.

But sadly, I am probably going to be transferring to SCC and putting this semester on hold by next week if I can, I just can't handle going to school and dealing with my family issues atm, and financially I am not doing so well. neutral
