I bought the limited edition t-shirt over the halloween event and it arrived today. I chose medium, thinking small might be too small (I like a t-shirt to cover my stomach, but be fitted). But I forgot that US t-shirt sizes are bigger in comparison to ours, so it's a lot bigger than I was expecting. So I doubt I'll wear it all that often.
Discuss: Have you ever bought anything from gaia other than donation items and gift credits? I've also bought a Kiki and a Grunny. Ever ordered something online only for it to turn out differently than you were expecting? What was the last thing you bought online? I got the internet browser for my DS at the weekend, but I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Anything else.

I just bought some Jungle Boots, lace on Zippers, tear gas and a boot knife.
It still hasn't arrived.
I wear a large. I like them, because if I get a boner - BAM! Covered by shirt.

My sister bought a grunny shirt in large. Its an XL for sure. I could make a dress out of that thing. A rather short and unflattering dress, but a dress none the less.
I'm just happy its not to small. She won't admit shes gained a lot of weight. Her shirts were designed for a three year old, and shes got muffin pats and a dunlap. Ew ew ew Jelly rolls.

Rex: Large shirts don't emphasise my breasticals. I like to flaunt it baybee.
Nips: I'd be pissed if I ordered boots and got a luggage rack. My mum ordered a shower rail from a catalogue and got a leaf blower/sucker instead. I think we kept it. And when we ordered our home cinema system we got sent the wrong one. When we complained they just sent the new one without bothering to collect the mistake, so that's what my sister got for christmas last year.

American sizes weren't always this way. I remember a day when a medium was medium, and a large didn't necessarily come to my knees.
But then fat, snobby Americans had to go and ruin sizing because they wouldn't admit they weren't a medium anymore. And now all the stores are trying to accomodate to their low self esteem.
There's something seriously wrong here when one pair of 5's reach a coinslot level of sagginess while another from two years ago fits me without need for a belt. I never had this problem looking for clothes in Europe.

xboomx I AM NEVER GIVING MONEY TO GAIA qfe. Drac: You could prolly cut the shirt apart on the sides and then sew them back together so it's smaller. Worked for me before. Grenny: I hate upward size skewing. I'm a size ZERO in j-crew. Size. ********. Zero. I am NOT a skeleton. It seems like America only makes clothes for fat people now.

I have a G-Corp shirt and an OMG.
It's wicked comfy. I sleep in it when it's cold. Like now. x)
The last things I bought online were two necklaces and a lighter.
I like buying things online. :B

I bought a sweater over the itnernets off of EBay, but its much smaller than what I though. So I barely wear it.
At least it was a learned lesson.
That cost me $30.
