There’s a one that starts just under her left eye and goes at a 45 degree angle down her face for about two inches. Also, there is a set of very thin ones on her left shoulder. There are four of them are less then inch apart but only three inches long. They look like very large paper cuts.

Physical appearance:
Colette is quite conservative when it comes to her appearance and tends to wear guy clothes more then girls. Now this isn’t because she’s upset with her outward appearance, she just doesn’t like wearing the way too short skirts and low cut tops. She normally wears a white button down shirt with a vest over it in any color or style. These are not loose, but a bit form fitting. The sleeves of the shirt tend to be rolled up as well and the vests are usually red in color. Normally she wears gray pants that are slightly baggy on the ends and has a pair of black Converse on her feet. Colette always wears her contacts , though she dose have black oval framed glasses, and her choker with a silver heart. Also, she has a set of headphones in her ears that are hooked up to her mp3 player in one of her front pockets. Colette wears a silver bracelet on each wrist along with a watch on her left hand. These tend to match the two sets of silver hoop earrings that she has in her ears. Colette never goes anywhere without her hat. It’s black and kind of like Indiana Jones’ hat only it has a slim, short red feather on the left side of the hat.
Colette’s nose is round and a bit smaller then normal and her eyes are almond shaped. She also has a slightly narrow face. Colette is a bit well built, definitely not flawless, and is somewhat stronger then most people think due to her appearance. She is kind of on the curvy side but she doesn’t like to flaunt it. Colette has the tattoos and scars mentioned above as well.
Personality:
If you can get Colette to speak to you ,in English, right away; then she just doesn't want to get into a fight. She almost never talks with people in English right away because she is seeing just what kind of reactions people have towards her way of greeting people. Also, Colette is thinking of whether or not to speak with you on how you react with others as well. If you’re rude or dishonoring, she’ll just ignore you. Nice to others? Colette will think about it. She may come off as a self-absorbed person at first, but will open up after a while.
All of that stays in place unless you bring up something that she likes or dislikes for Colette likes to express her opinion when she knows something about the subject and that her comments would be in place with the others. Or if it's something about Legos. Colette can't get enough of those and loves to talk about them. She doses this not only because of her trying to place you, but she really doesn’t want to stick out. This want of not standing out has been set in her mind from her hard to forget lessons she learned in school.
Colette dose have a scene of humor, but she hardly shows it along with her temper. It may seem that things don’t affect her, but one has to watch carefully to really see what’s up. She will display her true emotions via subtle body language. There is the occasional outburst of an emotion if she is pressured enough. If you annoy her, she’ll just speak to you only in French (written in English and put in italics. Just in case some people’s characters would know some French. Also, please assume that Colette has a French accent, but it’s not too heavy).
Once you get her talking with you, Colette becomes a very different person. She ends up being very happy go lucky and goes off on random ideas so much, people think she has ADD at times. However, she can get a bit moody which caused by her lack of sleep due to DSPS. But Colette will listen when others need to complain as well for she see that it’s only fair for she dose it all the time. Though she is stand offish at first with people, she will be very loyal to those that she befriends and will all ways help them out. Colette is actually in quite a good mood until something really bugs her.
Also, just because Colette can be a bit moody doses not mean that she can’t be nice. She will automatically fend those that she sees is a child or has a child like mind. When Colette is in a good mood, she will be friendlier with the people she has already made friends with or who is kind to her. Plus she has a competitive streak and will almost never back down from a ‘worthy’ challenge.
Habits/Hobbies: Staying up all night, reading books rather then talking with others, watching others, learning info about others, practicing Kendo & Music playing, designing.building Lego kits
Special Talents: can stay awake for two whole days, good at Kendo, can make things quickly with Legos, can play the violin quite well, pick up the beat in most songs, good with her hands

Life in Summary:
Colette grew up over the fashion store that her parents owned in down town Paris and she knows that she hated it from as far back as she could recall. She would be forced to wear the latest things and eventually began to buy things at second hand shops and just making her own clothes for what she would wear. Colette liked to be quite a risk taker and was a bit like a ‘skater punk’. She would occasionally take a skate board somewhere, but never school. But she wasn’t totally like a punk for she kept her distance from all of the clicks although she did end up having friends from a few different groups of people. This also was a point in life when she began to learn how to play the violin during fifth grade. Another quite important event happened this year. Colette was forced to stay at her cousin’s house in Maidenhead, England for half a month while her parents took a vacation for themselves in Hawaii. While there, Colette’s cousin took her to the Legoland in England and Colette loved it. She then became fascinated with Legos and was buying kits with her allowance money every chance she got. Colette was like this until middle school. That’s when the delayed sleep phase syndrome / ‘insomnia’ started kicking in.
She began to be moody at school and pleaded with her parents to let her go to a night school so she wouldn’t be so burned out every day. Much to her surprise, her parents allowed her to do so and she became pleasant to be around again. Colette really liked the way things were going at the moment and managed to fit Kendo class into her busy schedule. She had gotten a letter from an art school in America and Colette was quite excited to go to school in America. She had a bit of culture shock at first, but she got used to things quickly. Colette was in her last year of school when she began to look for a job and she was delighted to find that Lego was looking for a person to hire in kit designing. Colette applied for the job and was a bit surprised when she got called for an interview. She had been quite nervous during her interview and ended up tripping over her own feet when she was leaving the room she was interviewed in. So Colette was again surprised when she got a call from the Lego people saying that she got the job.
It was after she got hired that she got her tattoos and scars. The scar on her face is from when her clumsiness made her trip while carrying a pair of scissors back to her office from a fellow co-worker’s office. Colette’s feet had caught a slightly upturned rug and the scissors opened a bit as they fell into her face. The cut was really quite shallow and she was very glad that there was someone in the office that she had tripped in front of. The last scars are quite odd. These have nothing to do with accidental harm done. They are from when a cat jumped onto her back and got caught on her coat. Colette managed to get the cat off, but it dragged its claws through her back with one paw.

Why did I pick a: Northern River Otter: Have you seen these things? They’re cute and playful… Something that Colette is not. It would be fun to see just how the playful and carefree manor of an otter would mess her up from what she normally would be. First off, Otters= heart and kudos to you for having a character from a non-English speaking country, but, just how much English does she know, basic stuff from school?
It would be interesting to see her a Nick meet one of these days, two people who who are shy and untalkative around strangers and only result in awkwardness, and much staring at shoes.

A quick brief review, as I don't have time to do a full length one.
My main suggestion right now, is to re-check your spelling. I know you meant college rather than collage, and there were a couple things I noticed as well.
Plus, tense-switching. Pick a tense and stick with it, otherwise it gets confusing. Past tense is generally preferred, but present works too, as long as -everything- is the same tense.
