So with each new person that enters the guild they all seem to make a thread, or someone does to introduce them. Thats all fine and dandy but ive noticed a trend.
Some people in here who are usually OH SO NICE say things like "Welcome, watch out for these people....' and 'Everyone in here is real nice, except....'
Now while those might all seem like a joke and that, ever think that THATS not nice? Saying that everyone is fine except a few people. Where in some cases it might be true it still isnt a way to welcome someone.
-sigh- Before someone says 'Well we should warn them, because some people ARENT nice like you Meru' let me just say Im not a fan of new people all the time >.> or old people <.< but its not like I even post in those thread anymore so I am not a hypocrite.
Is it right to warn new users of other users? Is that the message we want going around 'We are all great but the bad apples you should watch'? There are 'bad apples' in every group. Maybe if we were the 'Nicey Nice Guild of Kindness' it would be alright but it just doesnt seem right. If some of us were nicer would any of this be nessecary? xd Lawlz if only people were nice ALL the time on the internet.
