FantasyMoon and I have been talking about some of the updates and changes we'd like to make to the guild, and I would like your imput as well.
I'd like to have a thread directory to help cut down on the number of repeat threads. However, I don't want to get to the point where we have some decrepit thread hanging around as a substitute for something fresher.
I'd also like to have an off-topic forum. I'm not really looking for a GD, just a place where we can occasionally talk about real life. There is a group of regulars in this guild, and I feel like I'd like to know you all outside of your book obsession (as though any of us have a life outside of our books). wink
I'm also thinking about a Children's Book subforum and/or another kind of subforum. The problem is, our subforums aren't very populated just yet, so I'm hesitant to start a new one.
Please post (or PM, if you'd rather) any thoughts or responses. I want to know what you want for this guild!

Don't scare me like that! blaugh What? You mean there's a life outside of our books? eek
To be honest the only sub-forum I think would be populated right now is if we made one for manga. Not that I want to see one, and this coming from someone possessing 142 volumes at the moment.

*waits for heart to start beating again* Man FM, you sure know how to scare a bibliophile....
Hmm...I like the idea of the GD thread.

Don't mess with my head like that! I know I have no life outside of my books. My friends will tell you I spend 4 times as much time in a library or the bookstore than I ever would in the mall.

Thanks to those who responded. I'll be out-of-state (and away from a computer) for a few days, but when I get back I'll start work on some of the changes.

Fairgrass, I noticed how you have the links arranged in the general fiction sub-forum. Wouldn't it be better to separate the titles from the authors instead of combining them in a single post?

Fantasy Moon Fairgrass, I noticed how you have the links arranged in the general fiction sub-forum. Wouldn't it be better to separate the titles from the authors instead of combining them in a single post? I was too lazy to begin that undertaking. redface This list is also far from complete. But I agree, it would be better if the titles and authors were seperated.

I don't think I am. I'm actually not doing much of anything in real life, since school's out. Even so, I was going to ask for volunteers to do some of the other subforums. You'd be modestly rewarded...
