I guess this kinda has to do with spirits and stuff, but heres my question.
If there are no "Spiritual" parts of us, then how come im me and not someone else? Its hard to explain but im sure most of you understand what I mean by this. Like how come i can see through my eyes and move my body, and not someone else, which would therefor be me again, but..... I hope you people understand what i mean.....

Like, do you ever just wonder in thought and then start having that thought about everyone, then you, and how you see through your eyes, not everyone elses? Maybe?
But Yes!
And, if you think, aren't you concious of yourself and you can percieve that you are there?
It is difficult to say because words are simply kind of limiting! blaugh

Yes!!! this is exactly what i meant! The only way to explain this (as far as i know) is that we do in fact have souls or spirits, which enter our body as we are created.

I believe that your Soul is not 'spiritual' in the sense that most give it. To me, it doesn't exist in a seperate dimension or anything.. but is your very being. You are you.. and thus you are your Soul.. because your Soul is your very being..everything about you from your thoughts, feelings, to the matter than makes up your body.

I'm a bit more scientific.. = I don't believe in souls, or that kind of stuff. What makes us us (unique from everyone else) is the matter inside our brians. Each of our brains developed differently, and made different connections between neurons in our brains.
And we see out of OUR eyes cause our optic nerves are connected to our own brains..why else. Our brain is connected to the rest of our body via nerve endings and all that. You don't see a few strings popping off your spine so you can move your friend's hand now, do you?

I dunno. I think about it. I mean, what do I look like from someone elses eyes? A mirror doesn't work. What if you sound completely different? It's weird. I always think about it then I get caught up in thinking you are just a bunch of cells and organs working together. But it's hard to think about that without thinking "Life is Meaningless". I'm not an exostentialist, and I don't belive that. It's weird ya?

Looking at this topic from a scientific view I'd agree with Lord of the Azure Sky, but I'm not really one for science, despite what some might think. I believe in souls, in the sense that my soul belongs to me and is unique. Pretty much the same things as what lllllZerolllll and Happy-Kindness.
