I thought I'd make a place where we could post our weight loss tips, or tips for feeling better about our bodies.
Weight Loss: -Go vegetarian. I lost almost 20 lbs. the first few months after I gave up meat. -Moderation. It's okay to eat one twinkie, not the entire box. But you all knew that, I'm sure. smile -Take a short walk every day. It takes about half an hour and really helps you feel good.
Feel-good tips: -Boys have cooties. I mean what? -Sing cheesy songs (like "Beautiful") in the shower. -Watch "America's Next Top Model" whilst eating ice cream.

Hahaha, like you're feel-good tips ^.^
Okay, I have a few weight-loss tips.
-Replace salty, sweet and fattening snacks with things like yogurt, granola bars or fruits, that usually taste equally good. -As vegankitty said, go outside and excersize, whether it be riding bikes, walking, or just playing at the park. It'll make you feel and look healthier. -Don't be lazy. Don't tell yourself "I don't feel like doing something now, I'll exersize later." Just get up and go. -(this one I read in an article) When you get a craving for something that you know you shouldn't eat, visualize yourself skinny. Do this frequently. It gives you a goalset and keeps you focused on it. -Also when you get a craving for something, instead of eating that, just get a glass of water or fat-free milk, and if that doesn't help, suck on some ice to keep yourself preoccupied.

I consumed about three hundred Mentos the first week I decided I didn't really want to be fat anymore, until I realised that a diet consisting soley of chemical-stuffed tables probably wasn't a good idea.
However, I'm finding it strangely easy to avoid eating too much. o__O I kind of crave like six Poptarts, but I won't get them for two reasons:
1) I want to lose weight 2) I don't want to go get them
On their own, either reason wouldn't be enough, but coupled...it's like a vicious circle of good.
Last night I actually restrained myself at the sushi bar. I only had a sashimi plate and a california roll, along with a glass of ice water and about a pound of ornamental blank radish. rofl
